Chapter 6460: The Voice Deep in the Cemetery

The Divine Body Heavenly Mansion’s Mansion Master led his people up to Chu Feng.

“Young friend Chu Feng, is the Immemorial Cemetery truly just a trial? Do you feel anything unusual from the rune imprint?”

He had asked Yuwen Yanri about it, and the latter had told him that the rune imprint was now reflected on his soul instead of his skin. Yuwen Yanri had no idea what effects that rune imprint had, so out of concern, the Mansion Master decided to ask Chu Feng about it.

“It should just be a trial. I can’t discern the purpose of the rune imprint either, but it’ll likely be tough to erase,” Chu Feng said.

“See you at the Ninth Galaxy, Brother Chu Feng.” Yuwen Yanri bade Chu Feng farewell on behalf of the Divine Body Heavenly Mansion.

“Take care, Brother Yanri, elders,” Chu Feng replied with a bow.

Unlike the Zhao Immortal Clan and the Ye Immortal Clan, the Divine Body Heavenly Mansion was planning to enter the Ninth Galaxy right away. It was unknown when or whether they would ever meet again.

The world was huge; not every separation was guaranteed a reunion.

The new king walked up to Chu Feng.

“Are you heading into the Ninth Galaxy, too?” Chu Feng asked.

“Are you not heading in?” the new king returned the question.

“I still have matters to attend to.”

“I’ll be going in ahead of you.”

“May we meet again.”

“May we meet again.”

The new king took his leave as well.

The only ones remaining were Chu Feng’s close friends.

“Yu’er, how are you feeling?” Chu Feng asked with concerned eyes.

Little Fishy might not have engaged Song Yun in battle, but the incredible power she emanated must have come at a price.

“I’m fine, big brother,” Little Fishy replied with a radiant smile. Moments later, she lowered her head in shame and said, “I’m sorry I wasn’t of any help to you.”

“You silly lass. When did you learn how to talk nonsense? You have helped me a lot. We wouldn’t have been able to complete the Seven Stars Orbs without your and Brother Shaoyu’s help. You’re forbidden from saying such words in the future,” Chu Feng consoled with a smile.

Chu Feng had watched Little Fishy grow up, so he doted on her more than his other friends.

“My little sister is right. While we did contribute to the Seven Stars Orbs, we were rewarded for that. However, we would have all been dead if not for you unraveling the tribute formation. We wouldn’t have been able to bring those rewards out,” Xianhai Shaoyu said.

He then turned to Little Fishy and continued, “But little sister, I ought to criticize you for this. What’s the point of apologizing? If you feel indebted to Brother Chu Feng, you should marry him.”

Little Fishy’s face immediately reddened.

“What nonsense are you spouting?”

Feeling embarrassed and angry, Little Fishy smashed her fist into Xianhai Shaoyu’s chest, sending him flying a far distance away. She then turned her reddened face to Chu Feng and said in embarrassment, “Big brother, don’t listen to my brother’s nonsense.”

But then, Little Fishy’s grandfather suddenly interjected, “How is it nonsense? I think Shaoyu is right.”

“Grandfather, why are you playing along?” Little Fishy was speechless.

“Yu’er, I’ll make things clear here. The only person I recognize as my grandson-in-law is Chu Feng. I won’t die in peace if you don’t marry him,” Little Fishy’s grandfather said.

Little Fishy’s face reddened, but there was nothing she could do. She turned to her parents and said, “Father, mother, look at grandfather.”

“That’s your grandfather. I can’t do anything about it.” Little Fishy’s father shrugged.

Little Fishy’s mother secretly chucked by the side.

Xianhai Shaoyu, who had just flown back, asked, “Little sister, you shouldn’t forget that Brother Chu Feng is our Immortal Sea Fish Clan’s benefactor. We have no way of repaying what he has done for us except for you to marry him. If you aren’t willing, I’ll have to marry him on behalf of our Immortal Sea Fish Clan.”

Little Fishy whipped out her God Armament. “Brother, you’re getting more and more ridiculous!”

“Gah! Brother Chu Feng, save me! My little sister is jealous of me and wants to silence me!” Xianhai Shaoyu shouted as he fled.

Little Fishy gave chase.

No one stopped them. They were already accustomed to the siblings’ antics.

In Chu Feng’s World Spirit Space, Eggy remarked with a chuckle, “Chu Feng, I approve of your marriage with Yu’er.”

Chu Feng was rendered speechless. “Milady Queen, why are you playing along as well?”

“Chu Feng, Yu’er is a wonderful child. Aren’t you moved by her at all?

“In terms of talent, she is a match for you. Didn’t you notice how domineering her gaze was earlier? I reckon her trump card isn’t any weaker than your bloodline rampage. In terms of appearance, you are a far cry from Yu’er. It’s almost as if a swan has lowered itself to a toad,” Eggy said.

“Why are you attacking me? Am I that ugly?” Chu Feng was speechless.

“You’re not ugly. Yu’er is just too beautiful. You’re not much different from a toad compared to her,” Eggy replied with a laugh.

“Milady Queen, hurry up and continue recuperating.” Chu Feng could only change the topic.

Eggy did as she was told. She hadn’t recovered from her injuries yet.

“Big brother Chu Feng, where should we go next?” Bai Yunqing asked Chu Feng.

He had decided to follow Chu Feng wherever he went.

Chu Feng revealed his plans.

The Spirit God Clan was safe for now, but they were so severely weakened that they had fallen into hibernation. It would be extremely difficult for them to recover to their previous state.

Even Bai Yunqing, despite having inherited the Physician Immortal’s legacy, couldn’t do much to help them. Chu Feng was helpless as well.

So, Chu Feng wanted to bring the Spirit God Clan to the Spirit God to see if the latter could do anything to help them. He didn’t think it was a good idea to bring others before the Spirit God, so he told Bai Yunqing and the Immortal Sea Fish Clan to return to the Totem Dragon Clan and gather with the others.

The others did as they were told. Before parting ways, they exchanged contact information and told Chu Feng to contact them if he needed help.

Meanwhile, in the Immemorial Cemetery, there was another hidden realm in the space Chu Xuanyuan had previously breached. This space was nowhere as desolate as the rest of the Immemorial Cemetery.

In contrast, it was brilliant like the Ninth Galaxy.

“That arrogant little punk, Chu Xuanyuan! You should have let me teach him a lesson!” a resonant voice echoed throughout space. It was a masculine voice, but it harnessed boundless power as if it didn’t come from an entity but the world itself.

Another ancient voice echoed in the realm, but it sounded more domineering, “That’s the father of my successor. Try laying your hands on him.”

The masculine voice grumbled, “Why are you siding with outsiders?”

“Who cares? I won’t stand for it if you dare touch my successor’s father,” the domineering voice replied.

“Enough. What’s the point of arguing when the person has already left? You’ll have to enter the Ninth Galaxy if you wish to find him,” a woman’s voice sounded.

If Chu Feng were here, he would have found the woman’s voice familiar. It was the voice of the Spectral Fairy.
