Chapter 6371: The Spirit God and the Brush God

It was a guess on Chu Feng’s part that his grandmother was heading to the Immemorial Cemetery, but he could confirm it now. Since he could plant a formation inside his grandmother, he could leave an imprint inside her too.

He sensed the imprint he had left on his grandmother approached the Immemorial Cemetery at a shocking speed.

If he wanted to get to the Immemorial Cemetery as quickly as he could, he would have to rely on the Nine Heavens Secret Domain.

He was standing before the Nine Heavens Secret Domain’s Conqueror Steeles. He had been frequenting this place ever since he grasped the Nine Heavens Secret Domain’s power, but he would still take a good look at the three Conqueror Steeles every time he was here.

The Three Conqueror Steeles represented the Immemorial Era, the Ancient Era, and the present era. Those who had left their names on the Conqueror Steeles could control the Nine Heavens Secret Domain’s teleportation formation.

Only Chu Feng’s name was on the present era’s steele, whereas there were six names on the Ancient Era’s steele.

First: Qin Jiu

The second name was blurred as if the person was concealing their identity.

Third: Song Shu’an

The fourth name was blurred too.

Fifth: Ba Jiutian

Sixth: Zhongli Bahuang

Little needed to be said about Qin Jiu. He was the renowned World Spiritist Emperor. He was well-known even in the present era. A huge reason Chu Feng was able to accomplish so much as a world spiritist was due to Qin Jiu’s legacy.

The other five might have come after Qin Jiu, but they had to be formidable figures to have left their names in the Nine Heavens Secret Domain.

The Immemorial Era’s Conqueror Steele had already shattered, making it impossible to see the names on it. Nevertheless, from its remnants, Chu Feng could tell that it had been full of names. This hinted that the Immemorial Era’s cultivators towered above the Ancient Era’s cultivators.

Chu Feng was examining the steeles because of the Immemorial Cemetery’s emergence. He thought he might find something useful, but there was nothing there.

So, he formed a hand seal.

Weng!

Eight Constellation Gates appeared around the Conqueror Steeles. They represented the Eight Galaxies. Chu Feng could head to any of the galaxies by stepping into them.

He was about to make a move when a voice echoed behind him, “You’re a busy fellow. You’re always headed somewhere. You’re really putting the Nine Heavens Secret Domain’s power to good use.”

It was an adorable girl with twintails, who looked to be around twelve or thirteen. She wore a golden dress that made her look mischievous, though it didn’t diminish her air of divinity either.

“You are?” Chu Feng asked.

“You don’t recognize me anymore? Who do you think helped you put your name on the Conqueror Steele?” The girl crossed her arms and tilted her head upward.

“Elder, are you that brush?” Chu Feng was surprised.

He had used a thousand-meter-long brush to write his name on the Conqueror Steele. That brush was not to be underestimated. It had also talked to him back then, but its voice was much more mature.

“My master was using me as a medium to talk to you,” the girl replied.

“I see. How should I address you?” Chu Feng asked.

“You may call me Lord Brush God,” the girl replied.

“Chu Feng pays respect to Lord Brush God.” Chu Feng bowed.

The girl might appear young, but she was far older than she let on. It would be unwise to underestimate her. At the very least, Chu Feng couldn’t see through her.

“Chu Feng,” another voice suddenly echoed.

It was a mature, pleasant-sounding voice.

An older woman manifested next to the girl who proclaimed herself the Brush God. She was also dressed in a simple golden dress that accentuated her disposition. Her clothes were not tight-fitting, but her marvellous figure still showed through.

She wore a golden veil that concealed her face, though her eyes showed through. Her eyes were unique—they contained three colors, purple, blue, and golden. They were beautiful and mysterious. They looked to be the eyes of a god rather than a mortal.

Even Chu Feng was enchanted by her.

“Paying respect to master.” The girl hurriedly bowed.

“Paying respect to elder.” Chu Feng did the same too.

This woman was the one who had previously communicated with him through the Brush God; she was the Brush God’s master.

The Brush God was already a big deal, but the woman with tricolored eyes was even more extraordinary. He had known that the Nine Heavens Secret Domain was an amazing place, but he didn’t expect there to be such formidable figures lurking here.

None of them showed themselves when he tried calling for them back then. Their appearance now could be a fortuitous encounter.

“What elder? Call my master Lord Spirit God!” the Brush God said.

“Junior Chu Feng pays respect to Lord Spirit God,” Chu Feng said.

“Chu Feng, are you heading to the Immemorial Cemetery?” the Spirit God asked.

“Yes, I am,” Chu Feng replied.

“I’m unable to see through that place, but I sense a malevolent aura seeping out. Will you heed my advice if I tell you not to go?” the Spirit God asked.

“That’s even more reason for me to go, elder. Someone I care about is heading there,” Chu Feng replied.

“Since that’s the case, let me bring you to meet two people.”

Chu Feng’s surroundings began morphing even when the Spirit God’s voice was still echoing in his mind. By the time her voice faded, he was no longer standing before the Conqueror Steele but amid a peculiar land.

This place was surrounded by a thick, beautiful fog that comprised seven colors, resembling an iridescent rainbow.

Chu Feng was perplexed. Somehow, he felt like his connection with the Nine Heavens Secret Domain had been severed here.

“We meet again,” a boy’s voice echoed from the seven-colored fog.

Chu Feng looked over and saw a brawny figure. The other party was two meters tall and was dressed in black armor. The black armor was not made of metal but rather of black wood, but it still looked imposing.

“We meet again, elder,” Chu Feng clasped his fist and greeted the other party.
