Chapter 6204: The Old Ancestral Martial Realm

Little Fishy’s mother changed her hand seal, and the formation realm imprisoning the red-cloaked man dissipated, freeing him.

The red-cloaked man surveyed his surroundings, but he still refused to utter a word. He kept his head up, maintaining a dignified front despite being a captive.

“Elder, let me chat with him in private,” Chu Feng said.

The others heeded his words and backed off.

With a wave of his sleeves, Chu Feng constructed an isolation formation around him and the red-cloaked man. Then, he conjured two figures, one tall and one short, with his spirit power. Both wore identical red cloaks, and their faces were obscured by red bamboo veils.

These two figures spoke in the same tongue as Chu Feng remembered them to have.

Chu Feng had conjured them, thinking the person before him might recognize them.

“Do you know them?” Chu Feng asked.

There was no answer.

“They saved me,” Chu Feng added.

There was still no answer.

“I bear no malice. I know you are from the same organization. I saved you to return the favor to them.”

Chu Feng waved his sleeves once more, first removing the two formation figures before dissipating the isolation formation. Now that they were in public view, Chu Feng turned to the Immortal Sea Fish Clan’s Clan Chief, Little Fishy’s mother, and the others and asked, “Elder, may I release him?”

“Of course,” Little Fishy’s parents answered in unison.

“You may go,” Chu Feng said.

The red-cloaked man didn’t leave right away. Instead, he stared at Chu Feng.

Suddenly, Chu Feng received a voice transmission.

“They have all entered the Ninth Galaxy. All the galaxies in the current world of cultivation, except the Ninth Galaxy, are completely different from how they used to be in the Ancient Era, despite there being ancient remnants around.

“The Ancestral Martial Galaxy’s Ancestral Martial Lower Realm, for instance, wasn’t called that back in the Ancient Era because it was not a Lower Realm. Back in the Ancient Era, it was one of the largest realms, spanning a size larger than the current Ancestral Martial Galaxy. It was the brightest star in space.”

It was from the red-cloaked man. He had decided to speak.

“How did the Ancestral Martial Lower Realm become so small? What happened in the Ancient Era?” Chu Feng asked.

But the red-cloaked man didn’t answer those questions. Instead, he said, “Enter the Ninth Galaxy if you wish to grow faster, but know that there is no way out of the Ninth Galaxy right now. Do what you want first lest you have regrets.”

He whipped out a red bamboo veil, placed it on his head, and left.

Only Chu Feng heard those words, but he didn’t share it with the others.

The red-cloaked man must have chosen to speak via voice transmission because he didn’t want to publicize the information, and Chu Feng decided to respect his decision.

Eggy, however, overheard what he heard via voice transmission, so she asked, “Does that mean that the Ancestral Martial Lower Realm, or rather, the eight galaxies have shrunk? Otherwise, it wouldn’t make sense for the ancient remnants to still be around.”

“That’s possible.” Chu Feng thought Eggy’s analysis was on point.

Some time later, the group arrived at the cultivation spot mentioned by the Immortal Sea Fish Clan’s Clan Chief.

It was a beautiful realm covered in flowers, but the Immortal Sea Fish Clansmen halted their footsteps here. Only Little Fishy’s parents and grandfather advanced with Little Fishy, Xianhai Shaoyu, and Chu Feng.

“There’s something amiss with this realm,” Chu Feng remarked.

“How so? Did you notice something?” Eggy asked.

“The natural energies here are exceptionally thin, but I can’t trace the cause of it. No wonder there are no cultivators here, and it doesn’t look like the native species have evolved either,” Chu Feng said.

“Indeed.” Eggy nodded.

They didn’t see any cultivators along the way, though there were many small animals. It was as if this was a place forgotten by cultivators.

“It probably has something to do with the cultivation spot, right?” Eggy asked.

“I think so too. There must be something special about the cultivation spot. Even my Heaven’s Eyes can’t see through it,” Chu Feng said.

His current observation means was potent enough to see through most remnants, yet he couldn’t find any traces of a cultivation spot, despite knowing that there was one here.

Finally, Chu Feng and the others stopped in the middle of a flower field.

A spirit formation gate manifested from the ground, and a world spiritist flew out from within.

It was a gray-haired old man with lush hair but an old face.

“Paying respect to milords.”

The world spiritist first bowed to Little Fishy’s parents and grandfather before lifting his head. “It’s wonderful to see milords, young master, and young miss. I noticed the happenings at the Immemorial Massacre Sea and thought the God Clan pulled some tricks.”

“Something did happen, but it has been resolved,” the Immortal Sea Fish Clan’s Clan Chief replied. He turned to Chu Feng and introduced to him, “Chu Feng, this is our Immortal Sea Fish Clan’s guest elder, Elder Liu.”

He then turned back to the guest elder and said, “Elder Liu, I shouldn’t need to introduce Chu Feng to you, right?”

“Of course. Who hasn’t heard about young friend Chu Feng? I saw young friend Chu Feng’s name appearing on the stone monument before the Immemorial Massacre Sea disappeared. Young friend Chu Feng, did you conquer it?” Elder Liu asked.

The Immemorial Massacre Sea’s fog began to dissipate shortly after Chu Feng and Eggy left the area, making the name on the stone monument even more apparent.

Shortly after, the entire Immemorial Massacre Sea vanished.

Everyone observing the Immemorial Massacre Sea knew it had been conquered by Chu Feng.

“You can say so,” Chu Feng replied with a smile.

They quickly brought Elder Liu up to date about the situation. The latter also learned why the Immortal Sea Fish Clan’s Clan Chief brought Chu Feng here.

“I’m almost done with the preparations, so it should be possible to enter right now to cultivate. Lord Clan Chief, you should make the call,” Elder Liu said.

“We can’t let Chu Feng make a wasted trip here. Let them enter,” the Immortal Sea Fish Clan’s Clan Chief replied.

Elder Liu took out a couple of talisman papers.

World spiritists often used talisman papers as a medium for their formations, but Chu Feng could immediately tell something was amiss with Elder Liu’s talismans.

These talismans didn’t harness spirit power. Rather these were talismans used by mortals to expel malevolent entities and suppress ghosts.
