Chapter 310: Chapter 180: A Thousand Layers of Fist Intent, Overturning the Divine Martial
The feeling... if one had to describe it, was like a venomous snake hidden in the shadows, finally baring its fangs.
Wan Ze narrowed his eyes, his peripheral vision catching a glimpse to his left.
Somehow, Tian Guipu had left his original position and appeared, silent as a ghost, three meters to Wan Ze’s side, standing perfectly still.
Seeing this, Wan Ze did not choose to back down.
He dug his toes in, launching himself forward like an arrow loosed from its string, accelerating his charge toward the two men before him.
This move took everyone by surprise. Caught in a pincer attack, he chose the most ferocious, most uncompromising path.
Tiger Form Splitting Force!
He changed his fist into a palm, chopping down from above with a momentum that could shatter mountains and split stone.
"Bold!"
Su Heng let out a cold shout, spreading his fingers wide. He employed his Grapple Hand technique, looking as if he meant to crush Wan Ze’s entire fist.
SMACK!
It was as if Wan Ze had willingly offered his wrist to be grabbed.
The man with the ponytail gave a savage sneer. He certainly didn’t believe that for a second.
He suddenly tightened his five-fingered grip.
The Power of the Refining Viscera Realm erupted from his muscles and bones. Compressed by his internal organs, it surged through his limbs and body, ultimately concentrating in his five fingers.
A grip like this could crush a steel pipe.
Yet he discovered that Wan Ze’s wrist didn’t move an inch.
His five fingers, strong enough to shatter brick and stone, couldn’t budge that wrist in the slightest.
On the contrary, he felt as if his fingers were grasping a piece of red-hot iron. A searing Power was seeping out from under Wan Ze’s skin, burning his palm.
’This! Why is this happening?’
Su Heng’s pupils contracted violently.
"Get back!"
Liu Chongyue suddenly roared, his voice laced with obvious panic.
But he didn’t have time to explain why.
Su Heng hesitated for just that moment.
He was unwilling to accept it, refusing to believe that his full-strength Grapple Hand could be completely useless.
That single moment of hesitation was his undoing.
The hand gripping Wan Ze’s wrist suddenly felt as if it had been pierced by a blade.
It was a Power condensed to the extreme, like an invisible steel needle shooting out from under Wan Ze’s skin, drilling up through his fingers, palm, and wrist.
With a muffled BANG,
Su Heng’s entire hand exploded on the spot.
Flesh and blood flew everywhere, and bone fragments scattered.
"AHHH!!!"
Su Heng let out a blood-curdling scream. His entire hand was gone, leaving only a bare wrist from which blood gushed like a fountain.
He didn’t even know what had happened, completely unable to comprehend why his own hand had exploded while he was grabbing someone else’s wrist.
The intense pain nearly made him pass out. His face instantly turned as white as a sheet, and beads of sweat rolled down his forehead.
In the next instant, a powerful force pulled at him.
Before he could even crash into Wan Ze, Su Heng lost his center of gravity and was involuntarily lifted off the ground.
BANG!
Another tremendous crash echoed.
Su Heng slammed heavily onto the stone floor four or five meters away, sliding a long distance before coming to a stop. His clothes were torn by the ground, his skin split and flesh torn open, and his blood stained a wide patch of the stone.
Overwhelming agony enveloped him.
He curled up on the ground, the pain so intense he felt he was about to die.
Seeing his junior brother’s fate, Liu Chongyue’s expression turned vicious.
He knew there was no longer any path of retreat.
He clenched both fists, spun around at top speed, leaped into the air, and then plummeted down, chopping toward the top of Wan Ze’s head, who still had his back to him.
He put all of his body’s Power into this strike.
From his organs to his bones, from his vital energy to his very will, everything was concentrated in this one palm strike.
He wasn’t trying to injure his enemy, only to force Wan Ze back and buy himself a sliver of a chance to survive.
Wan Ze didn’t even turn around.
Merely hearing the sound of air being split, he raised his left arm and held it above his head.
BANG!
Two streams of Power collided violently.
Liu Chongyue’s explosive chop, containing all his Power, was blocked nonchalantly by Wan Ze with just one arm.
Liu Chongyue’s expression changed on the spot.
"This! How is this possible!"
His mind was in turmoil.
Even if several of his martial brothers from the Divine Martial Society had joined forces, they wouldn’t have dared to block that palm strike head-on.
But Wan Ze had used only one arm, and his feet hadn’t moved an inch.
"Damn it!"
A desperate thought flashed through Liu Chongyue’s mind: ’I underestimated this kid!’
Just then, a hair-raising sense of crisis welled up in his heart.
Liu Chongyue’s face fell.
Like Su Heng, he couldn’t see what was happening at all; he just felt a chill run through him.
He didn’t dare to take the gamble.
Unlike Su Heng, he didn’t freeze in place. Instead, he stimulated all the vital energy in his body and spun rapidly, trying to escape the aura that had locked onto him.
But Wan Ze gave him no such chance.
He shuffled sideways, pressing down with overwhelming force. The Power within his body erupted like a flash flood, like a True Dragon emerging from the water, as he unleashed a ferocious whip kick.
This kick carried the momentum of a tiger’s roar and a dragon’s cry, tearing through the air with a sharp whistle.
Still in mid-flight, Liu Chongyue saw this, and his expression changed drastically. He hastily straightened his arm, grabbing the corner of a wall. Using the pulling force, his entire body shot back like a compressed spring released, flying toward Wan Ze like a battle-axe.
He could no longer retreat.
If he continued to flee, he would just be exposing his back to the enemy.
Rather than that, he might as well fight to the death.
There was only one option: fight!
"Kill!"
Liu Chongyue roared, his voice filled with the resolve of mutual destruction. He charged at Wan Ze like a burning meteor.
His entire body was suffused with a malevolent aura.
Never mind Tie Feiyang; even a veteran like Tie Qingyang, standing ten meters away, couldn’t help but feel his heart clench upon seeing Liu Chongyue’s death-or-glory charge.
’So strong!’
’This is an elite of the Divine Martial Society!’
’As expected, the combat power that a systematically trained Martial Artist can unleash at a critical moment is on a completely different level than that of self-taught fighters like us.’
Tie Qingyang fell silent, his eyes shifting. He considered stepping in to help.
But as Wan Ze faced the charging Liu Chongyue, his expression remained unchanged.
Faced with his opponent’s terrifying burst of power from burning his vital energy, he merely shifted his body slightly to the side.
The movement was minimal, just enough to evade Liu Chongyue’s fist—so close he could almost feel the heat coming off the other man’s knuckles.
Just like that, he nonchalantly dodged the killing blow.
Then, he reached out his hand.
Just a single palm.
It didn’t look fast; it even seemed rather unhurried.
But to Liu Chongyue, that palm seemed to cover the entire sky, blotting out the sun. No matter which direction he dodged, he couldn’t escape its reach.
’Why is this guy so strong!!!!’
Liu Chongyue screamed inwardly!
THUD!
A muffled sound erupted the moment they collided.
The sound wasn’t like fists and palms meeting, but more like two mountains crashing together—so deep and heavy it made one’s chest feel tight.
Liu Chongyue’s face was twisted in a grimace as he once again mustered all his Power to try and stop Wan Ze’s palm strike.
It was almost laughable. He was using every ounce of his strength, concentrating his thunderous will, just to "block" this one downward palm from Wan Ze.
But he had no time for grief or indignation.
The two Powers collided, and the two figures immediately crossed paths.
Liu Chongyue’s body lost its balance, and he staggered, tipping to one side.
Before he could regain his footing, Wan Ze reached out, his fingertips tapping Liu Chongyue’s shoulder like lightning.
The tap seemed casual, but it contained a terrifying Power that accurately pierced Liu Chongyue’s Jianjing Acupoint.
Instantly, half of Liu Chongyue’s body went numb, as if he’d been electrocuted. His arm hung limply, completely devoid of control. He was utterly horrified, staring in disbelief at the expressionless face so close to his own.
SWOOSH!
Just then, the sound of tearing air came from the side as a domineering Power suddenly surged and descended upon them.
That Power carried a bone-chilling cold that instantly swept through Wan Ze’s heart.
A third person had entered the fray!
Without a moment’s hesitation, Wan Ze shifted his center of gravity and slammed his shoulder into Liu Chongyue, sending them both moving to the side.
Liu Chongyue was sent reeling from the impact, spitting out a mouthful of blood.
The collision allowed Wan Ze to escape the range of that Power’s lock.
In his peripheral vision, he glimpsed the third person.
’It really is him...’
Tian Guipu!
’He finally couldn’t hold back anymore!’
