Chapter 197: Chapter 150: My Name is Wan Ze! The ’Wan’ of ’A Match for Ten Thousand

The first BOOM.

The green brick wall violently cracked, fissures spreading out like a spiderweb!

"BANG!!"

The second bang.

A human-shaped crater was smashed directly into the wall, sending shattered bricks flying and filling the air with dust!

"BANG!!!"

The third bang came almost instantly.

The entire wall collapsed.

With his head held fast, Nine Elders was brutally smashed from one side of the wall clean through to the other.

Brick and rubble collapsed, raining down and burying half his body.

Humiliation!

This was an unspeakable humiliation!

Just like his eldest disciple, he’d had his face grabbed like a helpless chick and been humiliatingly smashed through a wall!

"AHHHHHHHHHH!!!"

A beast-like roar burst from Nine Elders’ throat, the sound completely devoid of his previous calm and rationality.

With his hair in disarray and his eyes as red as blood, his bloodshot eyeballs looked ready to bulge from their sockets. His boiling killing intent was so thick it felt tangible.

"YOU—WILL—DIE!!"

The moment the roar exploded, Nine Elders moved.

He whipped his arms out, channeling the explosive force of his twisting torso. His arms shot out like a pair of striking vipers, coiling and spiraling.

What looked like a coil was in fact a drill!

What looked like a wrap was in fact a thrust!

His fists sought an opening, channeling the full Strength of his body—a force twisted like a rope, traveling from his heels to his waist, waist to back, back to shoulders, before finally exploding from his fists. Like a viper, they struck at Wan Ze’s throat!

The move was insidious and brutal, ferocious and intense.

Without decades of bitter training, one could never achieve such a technique.

Unfortunately, he still underestimated Wan Ze’s Horizontal Training.

The viper-like fists struck viciously at Wan Ze’s shoulder, ripping his clothes but only managing to leave a few marks on his skin.

Nine Elders could clearly feel it: the instant his Power—enough to pierce the hide of a bull—struck Wan Ze’s body, it vanished like a clay ox sinking into the sea. It left nothing but a red mark, unable to penetrate a single inch further.

’Holy shit! How is that possible!?’

At the same time...

"BANG!"

Wan Ze’s palm chopped down.

Palm Blade!

A single cleaving strike.

The instant it chopped down on Nine Elders’ arms, a loud RINGING filled his head, and he almost thought he’d been struck by a real broadsword.

The distinct sound of cracking bone came from his arms as a tide of excruciating pain washed over his brain!

The force didn’t stop there. It passed through his shattered arms and slammed viciously into his chest!

His Five Viscera and Six Bowels trembled violently from this impact!

Though the tide of pain threatened to overwhelm him, Nine Elders couldn’t afford to scream, much less allow himself to pass out.

He grit his teeth so hard they made a clicking sound. His bloodshot eyes were fixed on Wan Ze, his gaze so savage he looked ready to rip the young man’s throat out with his bare teeth.

"Good... you... are very good..."

Nine Elders panted heavily, his chest heaving violently.

Suddenly, he grinned, his smile full of savagery and madness. "I didn’t want to use this move... but you forced my hand!"

As he spoke, he slammed his hands together!

His ten fingers interlaced, veins bulging on his hands!

"THUMP!"

A muffled sound came from within his body, as if something had been violently burst open!

Nine Elders’ whole face instantly turned bright red, then purple. The blood vessels under his skin bulged, like twisted earthworms crawling all over his forehead and neck.

His entire aura was rising at an astonishing speed!

"Senior, watch out—!!!"

Sun Beixi’s cry of alarm came from the other side of the courtyard, her voice full of terror.

Wan Ze didn’t turn back.

He just watched as the rationality in Nine Elders’ eyes was swallowed bit by bit by madness, as if a beast was awakening within that skinny body.

Then he said calmly, "Now this is interesting."

The instant the words fell—

"BOOM!!!"

The two of them moved at the same time!

Like two of the most ferocious behemoths, they crashed into each other without any flourish!

"RUMBLE!!"

At the first collision, the ground beneath their feet shattered!

Amidst the flying rubble, Nine Elders’ fist shot toward Wan Ze’s chest!

"RUMBLE!!"

The second collision sent them crashing into the ruined wall behind them. Half the wall collapsed, but before the debris even hit the ground, two figures rocketed out of the rubble and smashed heavily into the other side of the courtyard!

"RUMBLE!!!"

The third collision... the entire courtyard trembled!

They fought from the courtyard into the house, crashed through the walls from inside, and then burst out of the ruins once more!

Wherever they passed, no wall could withstand them for even a moment, and not a single brick remained whole!

Sun Beixi and Sun Fan watched, their faces pale.

Zheng Tao’s legs went so weak he had to clutch the doorframe just to stay upright.

Each explosive crash was like a clap of rolling thunder, making their hearts tremble with every impact.

In the span of just two breaths.

The two entangled figures finally separated.

Wan Ze stood his ground, his breathing steady and calm. There were three bloody gashes on his left arm, the flesh slightly peeled back, seeping thin trails of blood.

But Nine Elders was a ghastly sight.

There was barely an inch of intact skin left on his body. Two wounds on his chest were deep enough to expose bone, his stark white ribs faintly visible through the mangled flesh and blood. A bloody hole in his left shoulder gushed blood.

The worst wound was a deep, diagonal gash across his abdomen, running from just below his ribs all the way to his hip. If he weren’t desperately clutching it shut, his intestines would have spilled out.

He just stood there, bathed in blood.

He looked just like a Fierce Ghost that had crawled out of a Xiuluo Scene.

"Koff... koff koff..."

Nine Elders began to cough violently, and with each cough, a gush of fresh blood came from his mouth.

He was old.

But he had decades of combat experience.

His whole life had been one victory after another. The opponents he’d crushed were too numerous to count. Until today! Until this young man stood before him! Only now did he truly understand the meaning of ’there is always someone stronger.’

In that clash that lasted but two breaths, he had played all his trump cards.

He had unleashed all thirty-six killing forms of the White Crane Fist.

He had even tried a desperate, all-or-nothing gambit, aiming for mutual destruction.

He had even exhausted his Forbidden Technique, burning his Essence Blood to forcibly enhance his Power.

But...

’I can’t hurt him.’

’I really can’t hurt him.’

That young man stood there like a mountain.

All of his killing blows landed, only to leave a few shallow, bloody scratches.

But a single blow from his opponent meant shattered bones and torn flesh!

This...

Nine Elders lifted his head. The madness had drained from the eyes on his blood-caked face, replaced by profound... bewilderment and horror.

"You..."

He opened his mouth, and a mouthful of blood surged up his throat.

"What... are you even human?"

Wan Ze didn’t answer.

He just flexed his wrist, and then... took a step forward.

Just one step.

But in Nine Elders’ eyes, it was as if the Grim Reaper had taken a step.

An unprecedented sense of crisis exploded from the depths of his soul. Nine Elders’ eyelids twitched uncontrollably, his scalp prickled, and every hair on his body stood on end!

"Wait!!!"

He practically shrieked, his voice shrill, "Do you have any idea who I am?! Do you know who’s backing me?! Do you have any idea—"

Wan Ze stopped walking.

Nine Elders felt a wave of relief, thinking his words had taken effect. He was just about to continue...

"I know," Wan Ze said.

Nine Elders froze.

In that moment of hesitation...

"BOOM!"

The cobblestone ground exploded!

Wan Ze’s figure shot forward!

As the violent aura slammed into him, Nine Elders saw a pair of utterly merciless eyes.

Wan Ze’s voice stabbed straight into his heart—

"A dead man."
