Following Qingyu’s advice, Ye Xuan moved to another part of the forest, far from the altar.

He jumped down from the branch and landed hard on the ground. He immediately channeled both of his elements into his sword, making the blade blaze with fire and flicker with crimson lightning.

He dashed forward and swung his sword, using a technique he had learned from the sect.

The ant monsters reacted, turning around and rushing at him.

"Blazing Sword!"

Ye Xuan swung his sword and released a crescent slash that shot forward and exploded powerfully against one of the ants.

The blast sent the ants flying in every direction. Then Ye Xuan noticed something: the ants were regrouping and surrounding him from every side.

I need to find a moment to break out of their encirclement.

Ye Xuan formed a hand seal and activated the Wind Qi Sword technique.

"Wind Qi Sword!"

Three qi swords appeared and spun around him, forming a whirlwind strong enough to drag the monsters toward him.

A huge amount of qi condensed in his right palm, and he thrust it forward. A blue magic rune appeared, and a medium-sized qi palm shot out and slammed into the five monsters.

He held them out toward Qingyu. "Want one?"

He put the monster cores away, then took out a spirit stone and gave it to Qingyu. Just as the white snake was absorbing the qi essence inside, the system panel appeared.
