Chapter 1116 - 1115: Want to Force Her Into Submission?

The Seventh Elder originally thought that Qin Xin, as a competitive girl, would definitely get back on the battlefield and fight with a little provocation.

Who would have thought this girl does not play by the rules.

She was ruthless when it came to a knockout.

Now she’s determinedly withdrawn.

She even said something like "I’ve used too much Spiritual Power and won’t be able to recover within an hour." Oh, spit! He clearly saw her looking energetic enough to fight eight hundred more rounds.

But, since Qin Xin refuses to compete, no one can do anything about it.

The worst part is, Ding Yu had been waiting so long for this opportunity and wouldn’t let go of the judges’ tutor’s arm: "Tutor, am I first now? No one before has scored more points than me in the arena, and afterward it’s even less possible..."

The tournament was near its end. No one would surpass her and Qin Xin’s scores.

Her first and Qin Xin second was as certain as nails.

The judges’ tutor felt a bit regretful but had to announce: "First place in the girls’ tournament, Ding Yu; second place, Lan Qingxin..."

For the first time in her life, Qin Xin only got second, yet she didn’t feel uncomfortable. Instead, she saw the furious face of the Seventh Elder, and felt even more convinced that trusting the secret signal from Master Tuantuan was the right choice.

The Seventh Elder must be up to something.

While the results of the girls’ tournament were being announced, and everyone’s attention was drawn to it, she quickly gave Ao Xinghao and the others a signal: No.

No first place.

It’s uncertain whether Ao Chongchong understood.

However, in the following boys’ tournament, the four guys who were definitely going to be in the top four collectively fell one rank, ending up from second to fifth, with an unknown senior becoming first.

In the judging seat, the Seventh Elder was so angry his beard wasn’t a beard, and his eyebrows weren’t eyebrows.

The selected champions were all not the types he wanted.

What’s the use of a bunch of worthless people?

With the tournament nearing its end, today’s celebration program had no more chances for their participation or interference. The Seventh Elder, unwilling, suggested to the Great Elder: "Sometimes when choosing apprentices, being first might not be suitable. We should personally evaluate the top six and then make the final decision. Great Elder, what do you think?"

Qin Xin’s heart skipped a beat.

This is simply unreasonable, making all kinds of excuses to forcibly accept her as an apprentice?

Even the rule they set just now—that only the first place would be accepted—was being ignored?

The White Robe Tutor on the stage became even colder in demeanor, his sharp gaze sweeping towards the Twelve Elders.

Below, Ao Xinghao and others were sweating bullets: Xin didn’t want them to be first just now, there must be a reason. She definitely doesn’t want to be under the Elder’s sect, so now it looks like they’re going to use coercion to take Xin as an apprentice?

Only some clueless students were excitedly saying: "Wow, Lan Qingxin is really lucky! Even if she didn’t get first, she has tutors personally evaluating her, and maybe she’ll ascend the dragon gate in one go!"

"This is truly a once-in-a-lifetime chance. If it were me, I’d take the initiative and accept the evaluation without waiting for an Elder’s invitation..."

As the crowd anticipated, the Great Elder nodded while stroking his beard: "Alright. Then let’s have..."

Just about to invite the Seventh Elder to personally evaluate.

Mid-sentence.

The Second Elder quickly interrupted: "If that’s the case, I’ll represent everyone to evaluate this Lan student. After all, her handling of the flying beast last time and this time with her fire ability was done excellently; there’s no need for further training in those areas. However, her time ability has yet to be tested."

He emphasized with extra weight on "her handling of the fire ability was done excellently."
