Love You for the Rest of My Life

Chapter 2573 - 2574: What Name Do You Plan to Give Her?

Now that his dream had come true just like that, he couldn’t even put into words how much he loved his daughter—and of course, that love was for Nangong Lin too.

"Are you stupid or what?" Seeing how childish he was being, Nangong Lin couldn’t help the gentle smile that curved her lips. She gripped his hand tightly and said, "It’s either a son or a daughter, what other ’breed’ could it be?"

Alvin was completely thrown off by her teasing, not knowing what to say. Helpless yet doting, he kissed her hard a few times, then said with a bit of smugness, "Anyway, I like daughters. Once you’re out, I’m taking over everything about her. I’ll do it all!"

There was no way he was going to let anyone else interfere. That way in the future he could brag to his daughter: your daddy raised you through shit and piss with his own two hands!

As the two of them were talking, Nangong Lin’s incision had already been stitched up. Only then did the doctor say respectfully, "Prince Alvin, the Princess Consort’s wound has been taken care of. She can leave the operating room now."

"Mm." Alvin nodded. "Then send her to the maternity ward."

The doctors and nurses started bustling around, and Alvin joined in to help. Very soon, they wheeled Nangong Lin out of the operating room and into the maternity ward.

The little princess happened to have just finished her bath and was brought back to the ward as well. Probably because she’d just been bathed, the little one had fallen asleep. With her eyes closed, she looked beautifully adorable in her deep sleep.

Nangong Lin was still in good spirits, half-lying on the bed without looking tired at all. When she saw the baby being brought into the ward, she got excited at once and said anxiously, "Let me hold her."

Alvin went up to take a look, then turned his gaze to Nangong Lin with a smile. "The little one’s asleep."

"Oh." Nangong Lin responded with an "oh," sounding a little disappointed.

"But you can still hold her." Alvin picked the little princess up and walked over, carefully placing her into Nangong Lin’s arms.

Looking at the delicate, beautiful little thing in her arms, Nangong Lin suddenly felt her maternal love overflowing. This was her baby, her precious daughter!

Nangong Lin couldn’t help but lower her head and plant a kiss on the little one. Just then, everyone else followed them into the ward.

The Queen was both relieved and emotional when she saw Nangong Lin. She hurried forward and asked, "Xiaolin, how are you feeling?"

Hearing this, Nangong Lin lifted her gaze and gave a gentle smile. "Mommy, I’m fine, you don’t have to worry."

"You’ve really worked hard!" the Queen said with feeling as she looked at Nangong Lin. "Xiaolin, you’re amazing, you’re the great hero of our family!"

Nangong Lin laughed. "Mommy, you’re making it sound too serious. This is what I should do."

"You have no idea how completely Alvin and your daddy are in love with this daughter. Haha, our little princess is going to have such a blessed life!" the Queen said excitedly.

Nangong Lin’s smile grew even sweeter.

The King was grinning so hard at the side that he couldn’t close his mouth, and Li Hui and Nangong Tiancheng were of course especially, especially happy as well.

Nangong Tiancheng hurriedly added, "I really like little girls too!"

"We all do!" Nangong Jin chimed in, then couldn’t help saying, "With so many of us and so many kids, up till now we’ve only had Little Yiran as a little princess. This is great—now we’ve got another little princess."

"Exactly." Nangong Ran laughed as well. "Second Brother also especially likes girls. From now on, Yiru and the little princess will truly be showered with all the love in the world!"

"Oh right, you’re all calling her ’little princess’ this and ’little princess’ that, but the baby doesn’t even have a name yet, does she?" Fang Hao interjected, unable to hold back.

At those words, everyone turned to look at Alvin’s family.

Nangong Lin smiled a little sheepishly. "We didn’t know if it’d be a boy or a girl before, so we hadn’t picked a name yet. Alvin said we’d name the baby after she was born."

"That’s not bad either." Fang Hao smiled, then asked, "Alvin, what name are you planning to give your daughter?"
