Chapter 2562 - 2563: You Won’t Let Me Be Affectionate!

Gu Mian looked at him, took a deep breath, and repeated what she’d just said.

Nangong Yue frowned. "What are you talking about? When did I ever not want to?"

He had no idea how much, how badly, how desperately he wanted it, wanted it to the point of going crazy, and she actually said he didn’t want it!!!

That was a bit of a blow.

Gu Mian, unhappy, walked to the other side of the bed. She didn’t even realize how angry her expression looked as she said, "You say you want it, but it’s obvious from your heart that you don’t!"

Nangong Yue got anxious all at once. He hurriedly jumped up and grabbed Gu Mian’s hand. "Mianmian, what are you doing!"

"Let go of me!" Gu Mian struggled, throwing a bit of a tantrum. "Nangong Yue, if you don’t want a wedding just say it. Who are you pulling that long face for!"

Gu Mian had no idea that right now she looked exactly like a little woman throwing a fit, and she certainly didn’t realize how strong her emotional reactions to Nangong Yue had already become.

Only after she finished losing her temper did she suddenly become aware of this, and her heart skipped a few beats faster. Since when had she gotten poisoned by Nangong Yue too?

"Of course it’s true!" Nangong Yue nodded solemnly, immediately raising his hand as he said seriously and earnestly, "Mianmian, heaven and earth can testify to my feelings for you! In all my life, from beginning to end, you’re the only one I’ve ever liked. You married me, and now we’re about to go have our wedding. You have no idea how excited I am!

If I could take my heart out and show it to you so you could see how excited I am, I would absolutely take it out for you to see! I was just afraid that if I acted too excited I’d scare you!"

"So that’s what it was?" Gu Mian tilted her head and raised a brow at him.

"It has to be that!" Nangong Yue said very firmly, then continued, "I knew I couldn’t show it. Look, just from saying all this I’ve made myself excited again!"

Gu Mian couldn’t help laughing. "Is it really that exaggerated?"

"It is!" Nangong Yue’s face flushed slightly as he muttered, "You can laugh now, huh. But what’s the use? No matter how excited I get, so what—you still won’t let me be intimate with you!"
