Love Strategy: CEO He is Really Scheming!
Chapter 1501: My Name Is Nicole—Nicole as in ’Deep’, and ’Tide
"Uncle, are you feeling unwell? A cold—feels bad." Regina remembered the discomfort of having a cold herself and showed a sympathetic gaze to the ailing Jose Floyd. "Uncle, my mom can give injections. Let my mom give you—an injection. It doesn’t hurt."
"So your mom is a doctor." Jose Floyd turned off the light, "Sleep now, Regina."
"Goodnight, Uncle."

The rain in Phoenix Ancient Town had lasted for three straight days without pause. The water level of the river in the town center surged, and the meteorological bureau issued a flood warning. Subsequently, the scenic area shut down, shops were forced to close, and many streets in the city were submerged.
Regina refused to go with Henrik Woody, so Jose Floyd couldn’t leave her alone in the hotel. He had no choice but to stay with her in the hotel for two days, without going out to search for Nicole.
Meanwhile, Regina’s mother, Miss Nicole, had been searching every street in the city for Regina since her disappearance.
Some streets were flooded up to the waist. Miss Nicole’s eyes were urgently deep red as she searched for Regina in the flood-covered streets and also reported to the police.
The disaster became a focus due to the internet and news, and the police helped Miss Nicole issue notices to search for Regina.
The neighboring Aunt Flores heard some vague information and told Miss Nicole that a child had been swept away by the flood, not knowing if it was Regina.
Upon hearing this, Miss Nicole’s face turned pale, almost fainting.
With the rain continuing and the floodwaters not yet receding, Miss Nicole braved the downpour, desperately seeking Regina’s figure in the streets.
In the hotel, Henrik Woody informed Jose Floyd about the news of a missing two-year-old girl. Jose Floyd looked at the report and turned his gaze toward the nearby Regina, who was eating fruit, and asked, "Regina, what’s your name? Uncle means your full name."
The photo in the report was indeed Regina.
Regina was eating grapes, smiling sweetly, "Regina Seys."
"Your last name is Seys?" Jose Floyd’s eyes instantly focused on Regina with some surprise.
Regina nodded.
That might explain why he felt such familiarity upon meeting Regina. It’s quite a coincidence; Regina’s surname is Seys, which was his previous surname before returning to the Seys Family.
"The child’s name is quite nice. Young Master Floyd, should we send the child back now?" Henrik Woody asked cautiously.
Since the child’s mother had issued notices searching for her, Regina shouldn’t stay here too long, or else he and Young Master Floyd might be interrogated as human traffickers.
Jose Floyd nodded, "Send her back."
"Uncle, you send me." Regina interrupted, cutting off Henrik Woody’s offer.
Henrik Woody helplessly looked at Jose Floyd, "Young Master Floyd, this little miss seems to only want to cling to you. I’m afraid I can’t send her away."
Jose Floyd picked up Regina who was sitting and eating fruit, "Hold the umbrella and follow, I’ll send her back."
Henrik Woody nodded, "Yes, Young Master Floyd."
The streets outside were full of water, making it impossible to drive, so they had to walk.
Jose Floyd carried Regina, while Henrik Woody helped with the umbrella. Jose Floyd provided a small raincoat for Regina to wear, to avoid getting wet.
"Uncle, you’re so nice, Regina likes you." Regina hugged Jose Floyd’s neck and smiled sweetly.
"Mm, uncle likes you too." Jose Floyd’s voice was calm, his eyes softened, seeming like a different person compared to his usual cold demeanor.
"Uncle, be Regina’s daddy...is that okay?" Regina’s eyes sparkled, looking at Jose Floyd with such apparent hope.
Henrik Woody held the umbrella for the two, almost laughing at Regina’s words.
Is Young Master Floyd getting into fatherhood unexpectedly? Probably not, even if Young Master Floyd likes Regina, he wouldn’t recognize her as his daughter, right?
