Louis closed the door behind them. The bathroom was spacious for a vehicle, with a large marble bathtub, a separate shower, and a wide counter with two sinks. Behind the bathtub was a wide window, looking out at the yellow plains. Gladice turned on the faucets.

“Look at this. A full-sized tub on a moving bus,” she said. “I love this RV.”

“Our ambassador did a good job,” Louis said as he began to unbutton his shirt.

“He did,” she said, adding bath oil to the steaming water. “So, what do you want to do to me?”

Louis tossed his shirt into the hamper and unzipped his trousers. “I want to hold and kiss you.”

“Is that all?” she asked. “I was hoping for something more… intense.”

“I love you, Gladie,” he said, pulling off his boxers. “And I want to make love to you.”

Gladice smiled and unzipped her pants. “I love you too, Louis. But you’re too romantic today.” She smirked. “Is it because of Cherry? She made you soft.”

Louis smiled and kissed her, running a hand down her back to her ass. He squeezed, pulling her against him. “She didn’t. But I enjoyed my night with her.”

“I bet you did,” she said. “She’s sweet and innocent. And she’s crazy about you.” She slid her hands down to his cock. “She can’t handle this, though.” She stroked him, her grip firm. “I can.”

“I know,” he said, kissing her neck. “That’s why I’m here.”

Gladice moaned, her other hand wrapping around him. “Then show me.”

Louis slid her panties down her legs. Gladice stepped out of them and took off her T-shirt, revealing a baby-blue cotton bra. Louis stared at her.

“That’s the same bra you wore that day. In New Orleans,” he said.

Gladice smiled. “I know. That’s why I bought another one. I wanted you to remember.” She looked at her reflection in the mirror. “A lot has changed since then. We have changed.”

“We have,” Louis said, burying his face between her breasts. “You smell so good.”

“It’s the same perfume,” she said. “But I’m glad you noticed. Do you want to take it off? Or do you want me to leave it on?”

“On,” he said. “I like it.”

He cupped her breasts through the bra, feeling the warm skin and the cool fabric. His cock throbbed in her hand. “I love you, Gladie.”

“I love you too, Louis,” she said, her breath catching. “More than you know.”

He turned off the faucets. The tub was full, the water swirling with oil and foam.

“Let’s get in,” she said, unhooking her bra and tossing it aside. “I want you to fuck me in the bath.”

Gladice got into the tub and sat down, the water covering her legs. He followed her, sitting opposite her. She stretched out her legs and wrapped them around him.

“I have an idea,” Louis said.

“What kind of idea?” Gladice asked.

“Stand up. And face the window,” he said.

Gladice raised an eyebrow but did as he asked, water dripping from her body. He stood behind her, his cock hard against her ass. Outside the window, the Snake River Plain stretched out to the horizon under the late afternoon sun.

“Put your hands on the glass,” he said.

Gladice placed her palms on the cool surface. “Now what?”

“Just stay like that,” he said, moving closer. He bent her forward slightly, her breasts pressing against the window. He positioned himself at her entrance, then pushed into her in one thrust.

“Oh, fuck,” she gasped, her breath fogging the glass. He started to move, his hips slapping against her ass. The water sloshed with each thrust.

“Like that?” he asked.

“Yes,” she moaned. “Harder.”

Louis gripped her hips and drove into her harder. He watched several cars and trucks speed past in the opposite lane, their drivers oblivious to the show. Or maybe not. He did not care. Gladice was tight around him, the sound of his cock moving inside her echoing in the small room.

“Don’t stop,” she panted, her cheek pressed against the window. “I’m getting close.”

Louis kept going, feeling her tremble. Then he saw a car pass them. A man looked at the RV from the passenger seat. His eyes widened. Louis smiled and met his gaze for a second before he took out his phone.

“Shit,” she said.

“Activate privacy mode,” Louis said between breaths. The windows darkened instantly, turning the glass into mirrors.

“That’s a useful feature,” she moaned. “Now make me come.”

Louis thrust into her again and again, feeling her thighs tremble beneath his hands. She came with a loud cry, her pussy clenching around his cock. He buried himself deep and came too, flooding her with cum. He stayed inside her for a moment, then whispered into her ear, “I love you.”

Gladice turned her head and kissed him. “I love you too, Louis.”

Louis pulled out and sat down in the water. Gladice sat opposite him, her legs stretched out. His cum swirled in the water between them.

“I can’t believe we did that,” she said, looking at the darkened window. “Someone might have seen us.”

“That was spicy,” he said.

“It was,” she said, leaning forward and kissing him. “But I’m glad you activated the privacy mode.”

“You’re welcome,” he said.

“Now,” she said, leaning back against the tub. “Disable the privacy mode.”

The window cleared. He could see the road again. Several cows were grazing in a field beyond the opposite lane.

“Do you know what I like about this?” she asked.

“What?”

“Doing things in a moving vehicle,” she said. “The feeling of speed. The risk of being seen. It turns me on.”

“I know,” he said, pressing a button on the side of the tub. “You like to live dangerously.” The cum disappeared from the water, carried away by the filtration system.

“I do,” she said. “And I like to do dangerous things with you.” She watched the filters work. “I’m still impressed by this RV. It has a cum filter in the bathtub.”

“It’s a nice feature,” he said. “But it’s not the only one.” He pressed another button. Jets of water emerged from the sides of the tub, massaging their bodies.

“Oh, that feels good,” she said, closing her eyes. “Very good.”

Louis moved closer and took her foot in his hands. He massaged it, pressing his thumbs into her sole. She sighed and leaned back.

“You’re good at that,” she said. “Where did you learn to do that?”

“Élise taught me,” he said. “She said it was a skill every gentleman should have.”

“I agree,” she said. “But you’re not a gentleman. You’re a devil.”

“I can be both,” he said, moving to her other foot.

“A devilish gentleman,” she said. “I like that.”

Louis smiled and continued to massage her foot. “I’m glad you’re happy, Gladie.”

“I’m always happy when I’m with you,” she said. “Even when we were in Dixie. Or West Virginia. Or Ohio. I was scared sometimes. But I was never unhappy.”

“You didn’t seem scared to me,” he said. “More like excited.”

“I was both,” she said. “It was a rush. The adrenaline, the danger. The killing. It made me feel alive. But I was also scared for you. For Angel. For the others. After every firefight, I feared someone would be dead. I imagined losing you. And I couldn’t stand it.”

“You won’t lose me,” he said, extending his arms. “Come here.”

Gladice moved closer and leaned against him. He wrapped his arms around her, holding her tight. “I’m very hard to kill.”

“I know,” she said, her head on his shoulder. “You have a very thick skull.”

Louis chuckled. “Is that a compliment?”

“It’s an observation,” she said. “And I do like that skull of yours.”

Louis laughed. “I see. You’re here for my skull.”

Gladice smirked. “What did they say? I will drink from your skull!”

“You can have it after I’m dead.” He pulled her closer, one of his hands slowly moving down her body. “I’m sure you will look good with a skull in your hands.”

“Of course I will,” she said. “I will put flowers in it and polish it every day.” She wiggled her eyebrows. “And I will keep your penis in a jar next to my bed.”

“I’m flattered,” Louis said, laughing. “But I hope I don’t die anytime soon.”

“Me too,” she said, her voice softer. “I have a lot of things I still want to do with you. And your penis. Without the jar.”

His hand reached the curve of her hip.

“You are beautiful, Gladie,” he said. “Inside and out.”

“I know,” she said, turning her head to kiss him. “And you are handsome. A perfect devil with a perfect body. And a group of mistresses.”

“And a perfect RV with a perfect bathtub,” he said, stroking her thigh.

“It is,” she said. “But it still doesn’t have a shooting range. I’m disappointed.”

“We can mount a machine gun on the roof,” he said. “For self-defense.”

“Let’s do it,” she said. “I want a minigun. And a rocket launcher.”

“I’ll ask my dad,” he said. “He might have a spare one lying around in the garage.”

“I’m sure he does,” she said.

His fingers traced the line of her thigh. “So, where did you get that name? Gladice?”

“From one of my ancestors,” she said. “A Welsh queen or something like that. My mom is into genealogy.”

“A queen,” he said. “Like Angi.”

“Not exactly,” she said. “Angel is a real princess. I’m just a girl with a fancy name and a mayor for a dad.”

“You’re more than that, Gladie,” he said. “You’re a warrior. And a queen in my heart.”

“You’re sweet, Louis.” She smiled and kissed him again. “For a devil. How many souls have you collected so far?”

“Only seven,” he said. “And I’m planning to keep them for a long, long time.”

“Good,” she said. “I’d be disappointed if you let them go.” She stretched, her breasts rising from the water. “I’m getting wrinkled. Let’s get out.”

“Okay,” he said.

They stood up and got out of the tub. The warm water cascaded from their bodies onto the heated floor. Gladice took two large towels from the rack. She handed one to him and started drying herself. He watched her, the water beading on her skin before being absorbed by the towel.

“I want to see you in a real throne room one day,” she said. “In Navarre. Or in Sacramento. Or wherever you decide to rule.”

“Maybe,” he said. “After we catch Brother John and his friends.”

“Yes,” she said, wrapping the towel around her hair. “And after Hawaii, Switzerland, and the naked waterpark. We have a busy schedule.”

“We do,” he said. “But I wouldn’t have it any other way.”

They got dressed and went back to the lounge. The others were watching Savannah’s character launching an orbital strike on a castle. Maeve was shouting instructions.

“Don’t waste the nuke, Savvy! Save it for the boss!” Maeve said.

“Shut up, Mae-Mae. I know what I’m doing,” Savannah said, her fingers moving rapidly on the controller. She pressed a final button. The castle exploded in a mushroom cloud. “Boom.”

“Impressive,” Gladice said. “You have a talent for destruction.”

“I learned from the best,” Savannah said, glancing at Louis. “And from Dixie.”

“That’s not something to be proud of.” Donya frowned.

“It is when you’re on the winning side.” Savannah shrugged.

“Speaking of winning sides,” Willa said, closing her laptop. “The protests are growing. Students are blocking several major roads in Denver and Kansas City. The hashtag #NoAdultLaw is trending on Tengri.”

“Will they interrupt our travel?” Cherish asked.

“They might,” Willa said. “Especially if they want attention. And we are very good at attracting attention.”

“Let them protest,” Gladice said. “It’s their right. Even if it’s useless.”

“It’s not useless,” Donya said. “It’s a way to express their dissent and to make their voices heard.”

“Will they change anything?” Savannah asked. “I doubt it.”

“Maybe not,” Donya said. “But it’s better than doing nothing.”

“Doing nothing is what I do best,” Gladice said, winking at Louis. “And I’m very happy.”

“Speaking of doing nothing,” Maeve said. “Are we there yet? I’m hungry.”

“We’re getting close,” Angelique said, looking at her phone. “One hour to Idaho Falls.”

“Another hour?” Maeve asked. “What are we going to do until then? I want to shoot something.”

“You can shoot the cows,” Gladice said. “From the window.”

Savannah gave her the controller. “Here, Mae-Mae. You can try One Hundred Ways to Kill a Devil.”

Maeve took the controller and started a new game. Her character, a female demon hunter, stood in a cemetery, surrounded by zombies.

“I’m going to enjoy this,” Maeve said, pressing a button.
