Chapter 2120: A New World History

There is one question in many people minds.

Why did no one ever try to prove themselves to the Death God and no one seems to want to solicit the support of the Death God

Most of them worship his temple. But in that era, there is a saying that circulated.

It is easier to become the Death God champion then to win his protection.

Are they so afraid that they did not even seek an audience? No, it is not because they are so fearful that they would not even dare to solicit the Death God

It is simply because they know that the Death God have his own kingdom and his own infernal host

He has his own army and his own kingdom. And that kingdom is full of ghost and skeleton soldiers. And if he wanted to, he simply could raise the dead.

The power of a divine being who mastered the very rule and law of life and death is terrifying. Almost all of the Death God of any magical universe is a terrifying being

Azief told him that he then cancelled his call. Because he remembers something. This thing did not happen to him for the first time.

Azief theorized that there is the original heaven and hell. He said certain soul are special and reserved beforehand.

And for those souls, no matter how powerful his Divine Authority is, it could not supersede this almost inviolable will.

This is his own speculations but there were many things that the Death God told him which he said is a speculation but all of it was proven to be true.

So, he believes that- BOOOOOM!

Before he could finish his thought the thunder roaring in the sky startles him. And he frowned.

"If Azief follow his original trajectory then I could come out and not worry this much" Loki look toward the distance.

He did not dare use his Divine Sense to probe to close to the location of the tribulation

It is one thing for the Divine Will of the Omniverse not to notice him right now. It is another to treat it as blind.

If he dares to come to closes to view the ascension of Azief, then there isa high chance that the Will of the Omniverse would be provoked and add a few Destructions Thunderbolt for him while hurling some on Azief

The thing is because Azief is now forging an entirely different path than the future he had known, he could not say for certain that Azief would succeed.

If its anyone else trying to do what Azief is trying to what Azief is doping right now, Loki could surmise that it would fail. Dead on arrival.

Because the Omniverse would not allow a taboo to once again be resurrected. But this is the Child of the End

Before, Azief was only one of the candidates for the Chill of the End. That was in the original timeline. It wasn’t until after certain things have come to pass that the destiny of the Child of the End falls onto him

This time however everyone had made their move in the chessboard already treating Azief like the Child of the End from the beginning.

And with each move and each step he had taken he strengthened this destiny between him and the Destroyer

And so, could the Destroyer let the Will of the Omniverse destroy the Child of the End.

There is no substitute candidate

Fate and Destiny could not create another Child of the End at this juncture.

Azief had tightly woven his destiny with the Destroyer each time he delves deeper into the Etherna.

And Azief relations with the Etherna in this timeline is even more tight and deeper than it was before

If it was before, Azief had to travel the Omniverse to seek the information about the Etherna. And sometimes in fortuitous encounter he would meet some remnant of Etherna lore and stories in some distant universe

But that was not as informative as one would have to meet a real Etherna himself

In this timeline, Azief not only have the Etherna rings on his finger he had done more than that.

He remembers that the Ten Rings only become One ring near the End of the World.

But now, Azief only have one ring. The ten rings had already been unified and merge with each other.

And he also has the legacy of the Etherna. Unfortunately, even with his current realm, he could not detect this Etherna legacy on Earth

"I would have at least tried to infiltrate it and see if I could gain any information about it"

Even in his Book of Secrets, he could not seek this Etherna legacy.

The Book of Secret ability is very powerful

It is one of the reason Loki had seek it and had to do all kind of thing to get it

The Book of Secrets held the secrets of the world. That is the understanding of many people about the power of that book

What they didn’t know is that the Book power react differently to different people wielding it.

The stronger you are, the more secrets it would reveal. And if you are a Sovereign, who wields power that transcend Universe Will, whose power could shake the Omniverse itself, then that book is one of the most powerful objects in the entire Omniverse

It could seek all of the secrets in the Omniverse.

Of course, the price of seeing these secrets and the burden of seeing and seeking this secret is proportional to the strength of the person who wielded this book.

If this secret is too dangerous for its owner, the book would even censor some of the information and sometime they would even refuse the owner of the book its answer.

Loki did not have the Book of Secrets right now.

It belongs to one of his avatars.

But even if he could command this avatar to give the book to him, he believes it would be useless

Because Etherna is a being from Before Time. No matter how powerful the Book of Secrets is....it is an item that is created After Time existed.

While it could certainly uncover all secrets After Time, it could not uncover the secrets Before Time.

Azief is the only one outside of those who participated in that matter Before Time that could uncover any secrets.

So, the Etherna Legacy once it is determined to hide, no methods in this world could find it. But there are a few beings in the Omniverse that could find it.

However, Loki did not mind that he would not be able to see the Etherna legacy. After all, that is just his whim. It would good if he could see it.

But if he could not see then that is just that.

He sighed

"If he really could not bear it, if he is really in the verge of failure, regardless of whether I am exposed or not, I would have to stand up" Loki already made his decisions when he see Azief is trying to break this taboo.

No.... he always has only one choice in this matter. Azief must not die in this trial of the Sovereign.

Even if he himself had to die, Azief must not die.

That would be the most fatal miscalculation of all time. Azief must not die in this moment. In this era, he had to go until the end

This is also probably not something that anyone wanted. Not even the Destroyer.

Azief must live.

Probably that is also the reason why Azief is doing this. Because he himself seems to have found some clues of what his eventual fate would be

And knowing Azief, the Azief of this era, brimming with confidence and a bit of arrogance and pride, he might think that he would bet it all.

Trying to break the taboo, to achieve the impossible by leveraging his fate and destiny, the cause and effect woven onto him and all the fortune and luck he possesses

The plan did not have any other backup. Azief had to become the Child of the End and he should be the one in the final battle.

Just like fate and destiny could no longer strip that destiny of the Child of the End from Azief, he too could not change his candidate.

From the very beginning the plan he had hatched with Jean was about Azief.

But for now, he still has time. As long as Azief survive this first tribulation, the other tribulation to refine the sprit it and essence could safely be attempted

"Since I still have time, I need to try to sow some seeds"

Loki sighed and then he takes a step and he disappears from Pandemonium

A Sovereign in this era before Sovereign is practically invincible and there is no place on Earth and beyond that he could not go

He might be going to the bottom of the Ten Seas, or he might be going in some planets that would have some cause and effect with Azief.

He might even be going to kill some people or save some people.

Loki.... this Loki who possesses all the knowledge of the future.... there is so many things he could do right now in this point of time

As for Earth, it is still thundering. It is still roaring. And the clouds are getting bigger and the thunder is getting louder.

The world history is just about to begin
