“Leave these small fry to me.”

Lang Ya made his move as well; those Puppets could be handed over to him.

“Everyone be careful!”

Qin Yi said, then grabbed the Dragon Emperor Cauldron and smashed it straight toward the Sky Opening Netherworld King.

Attack was the best defense.

Facing the Dragon Emperor Cauldron blazing with boundless golden radiance, the Sky Opening Netherworld King didn’t dare be careless at all. With an angry roar, a mountain-sized fist blasted out.

The fist and the Dragon Emperor Cauldron slammed together fiercely, erupting with a terrifying power that tore open vast cracks even in the Void.

The Sky Opening Netherworld King roared in fury; his fist was already bleeding, and his colossal body staggered backward, each step exploding the ground beneath his feet.

“Boom!”

A dazzling Red Lotus collided with a mountain-sized fist, exploded with a thunderous bang, and a storm swept out.

Lan Jiaojiao and her opponent were both shaken back.

“Red Lotus Netherworld King, you have betrayed the Netherworld Clan—you will die a wretched death.”

The Netherworld King who was blasted back by the Red Lotus bellowed in rage, his voice like Thunder Shock.

“The ones dying are you lot.”

Qin Yi sneered coldly. The Dragon Emperor Cauldron in his hand spun rapidly, then flew out, blasting toward the enemy.

The staggering Netherworld King roared, both fists punching out together, smashing onto the Dragon Emperor Cauldron.

“Dong!”

The terrifying clash of metal was like heavenly drums pounding; the dreadful sound waves directly shredded several Puppets nearby into pieces.

The Dragon Emperor Cauldron was shaken and flew back toward Qin Yi.

But the opponent let out a miserable scream, both arms snapping, as he staggered backward.

A fist-sized Red Lotus shot out like lightning, swelling against the wind, finally turning into a small mountain. It slammed brutally into his chest, then exploded with a roar, storm sweeping for thousands of meters.

This unknown Netherworld King’s upper body was directly blown to bits; his huge, tattered body crashed down, so massive that it smashed apart the tall gate and the stone steps leading up the Netherworld Clan’s mountain.

One had to say, Lan Jiaojiao had chosen the perfect moment to strike.

Qin Yi glanced at her with approval.

Lan Jiaojiao lifted her sharp little chin, grinning proudly.

The grievously wounded Netherworld King rapidly shrank in size; his broken arms were twisted into a grotesque posture, his upper body a bloody mess, his entire aura withered. Severely injured, unable to rise, he had already lost all combat strength.

“Bang bang…!”

The Primordial Tripod burst forth with dazzling golden light, sweeping out sideways, crushing more than ten Puppets into slag along the way, rescuing Lang Ya from the encirclement.

These Puppets, plus the Netherworld Generals and Netherworld Envoys brought by each Netherworld King, numbered in the dozens, surrounding Lang Ya so tightly not even water could seep through.

Though Lang Ya was strong, these Netherworld Generals and Netherworld Envoys were no weaklings either. For a time he was hard-pressed, heavy on defense and light on offense.

Standing on the small boat, Hong Ying saw this, her pretty face sinking, killing intent all over her features as she lunged out like lightning.

Yin Qianqian paused, then hurriedly said, “Yin Chen, Qingyi, let’s go help. Hong Ying is still injured.”

The three of them flashed out like lightning.

Even the little white cat let out a meow, leaping off the small boat.

On the boat, only Yun Mengyao remained.

Yun Mengyao’s pretty face dimmed, full of envy. Her Cultivation was too low; in a battle like this she couldn’t help at all.

The wounded Netherworld King dragged his broken body, struggling to sit up, when out of the corner of his eye he suddenly saw a cute little white cat sashaying toward him with feline steps.

Before he could react, the little white cat suddenly turned into a streak of white light that flashed past his eyes.

A thin red line slowly appeared on his neck, growing clearer and clearer, until with a bang it burst into a cloud of blood mist.

Qin Yi noticed this scene and couldn’t help laughing loudly. “Baby, beautifully done!”

Hearing Qin Yi’s praise, the little white cat happily bounced in place a few times, meowing and mewling.

A ball of red light had just drilled out from the dead Netherworld King’s head, ready to depart, when an invisible, traceless blade chopped down, directly scattering the red light.

The execution blade that shattered his soul and spirit—Qin Yi had long prepared it for him.

The remaining three Netherworld Kings were drenched in cold sweat.

The Netherworld Clan had ruled the Nether Sea for endless ages, yet had never been so miserable; Netherworld Kings were falling one after another.

Had the Netherworld Clan’s destined end arrived?

The hearts of the remaining three Netherworld Kings turned cold, thoughts of retreat rising.

Right at this moment, with a boom, the entire Netherworld Island began to tremble violently.

A terrifying might swept over, shaking even their hearts and minds.

“Fall back!”

Qin Yi didn’t hesitate in the slightest, pulling Lan Jiaojiao back with him.

Now, the Netherworld Kings of the Netherworld Clan no longer posed any threat to him. Anything that could make him feel danger was absolutely something truly terrifying.

As for Qin Yi’s words, everyone obeyed without the slightest hesitation.

Everyone retreated.

Qin Yi stared at the Netherworld Island with a grave expression; that aura was growing more and more domineering.

“Old Qin, you confident?”

Qin Mu yawned lazily. “Take that question mark away.”

Qin Yi let out a breath of relief. As long as Qin Mu was confident, that was enough. If even Qin Mu wasn’t a match, all they could do was run for their lives.

Qin Yi narrowed his eyes, looking over. A black dot appeared above the Netherworld Island, very far away.

But in the blink of Qin Yi’s eye, that black dot had already appeared not far from him.

What terrifying speed.

Qin Yi had to admit, the opponent’s speed surpassed his own.

It was a person—strictly speaking, a shabby, unkempt old man. The black robe on his body had been washed so much it had turned pale; his hair was a tangled mess; he carried an iron hammer in his hand. The only thing like the Netherworld Clan was his face—so pale it was unsettling.

“How did my humble craft of repairing chairs end up like this?”

“Father.”

The Heavenly Defect Netherworld King, missing an arm, saw the newcomer and hurriedly struggled to kneel in greeting.

“Clan Leader.”

The three Netherworld Kings also shrank to normal human size and bowed.

The Red Lotus said coolly, “Old Qin, he’s the Clan Leader of the Netherworld Clan, Ming Ye.”

“Father, this brat is Qin Yi. Please, Father, make a move and kill him,” Tian Can said, face twisted with ferocity.

Ming Ye sized up Qin Yi with a glance, then nodded slightly. “A heaven-gifted talent. A pity you’re not of my Netherworld Clan.”

Qin Yi smiled faintly. “Many thanks for the compliment, Netherworld Clan Leader. Seeing how outstanding I am, could you answer a question for me?”

Everyone glanced over sideways. Just how shameless did you have to be to say something like that?

Ming Ye was also briefly taken aback, then said, “What question?”

Qin Yi’s expression turned solemn. “It’s said the Netherworld Clan has a Resurrection Technique. Is that true or not?”

Ming Ye was silent for a long moment. “You came here for that?”

Qin Yi nodded seriously, deep hope in his eyes. He had gone through countless dangers to reach the Netherworld Clan; his ultimate goal was to find the Resurrection Technique and bring Duan Yiyi back to life.

Ming Ye nodded slightly. “We do indeed.”

Qin Yi was wild with joy, his hands and feet trembling with excitement, utterly unable to restrain his emotions.

As expected, none of his efforts had been in vain.

Yun Mengyao and the others were all very excited; Duan Yiyi could be saved.

Only Qin Mu remained expressionless, letting out a soft sigh.

Qin Yi bowed from afar. “Netherworld Clan Leader, could you tell me?”

“No. This is the very foundation upon which my Netherworld Clan stands.”

Qin Yi wasn’t surprised. He said earnestly, “For the sake of the Resurrection Technique, I can only offend you. Since that’s the case, I’ll use the rise and fall of the entire Netherworld Clan as my wager that you’ll eventually speak.”
