Jeremy let out a sigh of relief and flipped his hair, "Forget it, let’s not talk about this. Didn’t you want to rehearse a scene? How about I practice with you?"

"Sure." Olivia Lewis hadn’t acted in a long time, and she felt a bit rusty. She stood up from the lounger and stretched a bit. Bending down to pick up the script from the chair, she said to Jeremy, "Come on, let’s go through that scene in the temple."

"OK."

Jeremy might be unreliable when it came to relationships, but he was dependable with acting. At least he wasn’t one of those popular male stars who cared only about quick money and ignored their acting skills.

He had already memorized today’s lines. Just before they started, he suddenly raised an eyebrow and smirked mischievously, "I remember there’s a part where you almost slip on the moss, and I catch you by the waist, then we lock eyes, and sparks fly. Should we try it for real when we practice later?"

"Dream on!" Olivia Lewis rolled her eyes exaggeratedly at him.

Jeremy rubbed his chin and laughed heartily, "Kissing my sister in a scene would be too outrageous, I couldn’t do it. But doing a kiss scene with you feels just as outrageous, since we’re so familiar. If we really did kiss, I’d feel like I’m kissing my sister."

That’s definitely an outrageous feeling...

Olivia Lewis automatically ignored his babbling and focused on memorizing her lines quietly.

Just as she was quietly reciting the lines again and getting ready to start, the Director and producer suddenly approached.

"Olivia, Jeremy, here you are. I’ve been looking all over for you." The Director beamed as if something good had just happened.

Jeremy, being pretty chummy with him, asked directly, "What do you want us for? Are we starting to shoot, Director?"

"No." The Director’s eyes were bright, sparkling with excitement, "Nicole Oliver is here. She’s a friend of my childhood buddy. In one of the scenes, there’s a senior that Lydia Bell’s character, Sophia, admires tremendously. I’ve been fretting over who could play that role. Then my childhood buddy heard and reached out to Nicole to see if she had time for a cameo. He casually asked, not expecting much. Who would’ve thought Nicole agreed! She’s here today and is just changing clothes with her Manager. Olivia, can we shoot that scene first later?"

Jeremy looked at Olivia with concern.

Olivia answered calmly, "Sure, let me take a look at the script first."

"That scene doesn’t have much dialogue, most of it is between Lydia and Nicole. You just need to convey Rosalyn’s jealousy and insecurity." The Director explained quickly.

Having gotten to this point, and seeing the careful expression on the Director’s face, Olivia couldn’t really refuse anymore. She agreed readily, "Alright, I got it. But I still need to look over the script to do some study."

The Director was relieved that there wouldn’t be any issues, and he was overjoyed by her agreement. He waved his hand, signaled he wouldn’t disturb her script study, and hurriedly left with the producer in tow.

It was clear they were off to find Lydia to discuss things with her.

As soon as the Director left, Jeremy couldn’t help but say, "Why did you agree? Didn’t you always have a bad relationship with those from your company?"

"It’s true I don’t get along well with them, but with Nicole Oliver’s stature, having her cameo adds another selling point to the movie. We’re not losing out."
