Chapter 91: Under the Sea! An Aquatic Adventure

Tyler and Nyxara stayed close to watch him emerge but quickly teleported away as the ocean began swirling. The whirlpool was massive as the giant serpent king let out a ferocious roar, causing the group on the beach to dig their feet into the sand to not fly backwards from the rapid wind gusts. The water raised and a tsunami occurred in a circular formation. Fortunately, they were far enough out where it didn’t cause any impact to the land.

Leviathan’s hunting prowess wasn’t savage, it was executed flawlessly with finesse. He lunged his head into the ocean snatching an orca like a swan eating a minnow. A giant eerie cry echoed throughout the nearest towns, causing people to wake late in the night.

"What is that?" A Tenzen citizen asked his wife in concern.

"Did a whale just die?" A Taipikon muttered with a frown.

Whispers filled both the city’s streets wondering what caused such a massive roar and an eerie cry from the sea. They couldn’t see it, but the wind seemed unnatural.

"So powerful..." Amanda smiled.

"Tyler, your aura... it’s more prominent again! Are you ok?" Kass asked nervously.

Tyler felt ok but after Kass mentioned something, he realized he felt more tired than he usually was when he summoned someone. To be safe, he grabbed a mana potion via his usual portal to refrigerator trick and drank it. He decided to test himself and summoned Ritsu and created a barrier made of hardened sand to block the wind.

"Ladies...I don’t feel good." Tyler muttered, ready to puke.

Amanda buffed him, which made him feel much better. Kass, Nyxara and Sophie grabbed him and used Qi while Amanda healed him. Kass’ Qi wasn’t that strong, but every little ounce helped. Tyler relaxed and thanked them as relief filled their worried faces.

"How am I possibly supposed to contract your sister when I’m already this drained from a summon where you’re eating and not fighting Levi?" Tyler sighed.

"Thank you for the meal Tyler. Talk to my parents or ask Ash about it. If i’m not mistaken, didn’t your system say you would hit 100 stat points in every category at rank SSS?"

"Not sure it was vague. It told him he would need many powerful Eidolons to go beyond the SSS and 100 point normal stat cap. Whether or not that means he gets to 100 from hitting SSS, I am not sure. His spirit is high, though and his staff is level 7." Ash said calmly.

’System, will I hit 100/100 in each stat and will my spirit revert?’

’Well, that makes sense I guess," Tyler admitted with a slight hint of disappointment.

[Clarification: Your spirit will not revert. The only way for regression is failure to complete a quest.]

"Good to know, thank you."

"Tyler, what are you waiting for? Recall me."

"Can we please see your Eidolon form? I’d like you to formally meet my future wives."

"I suppose..." Leviathan sighed.

’Recall Leviathan.’

He turned into a small white spirit orb and rapidly flew into Tyler’s chest, only to reappear as the majestic blue haired humanoid with scales covering his entire body, even some around his face. He was handsome and muscular. His blue ethereal glow swirled around him much like his fluid water did when he was in his Eidolon form.

"Hello Kass, Sophie, Amanda and Nyxara. You are all so beautiful and powerful. Tyler is a lucky man to have you in his life. Thank you for being there for him as well as my big brother and little sister."

The girls stood in disbelief while Tyler wrapped his arms around them, bringing them in for a big hug.

"That isn’t how I imagined you!" Amanda giggled.

"Your scales look like tattoos, it’s really cool!" Kass grinned.

"Your eyes remind me of an Aquamarine gemstone." Tyler smiled. "They aren’t a natural blue but they’re so fitting at the same time."

"Thank you. Much like my brother, I prefer my Eidolon form."

"Woah, you can breathe underwater in this form too," Nyxara said while admiring two small slits in each of his cheeks. They blended into his scales and his humanesque features so well that they were hard to find.

"Would you ladies like to go for an oceanic adventure?"

"Yes please!" Sophie cheered while rushing toward him.

Leviathan waved his hand and four magical bubbles covered each of the girls’ heads. Tyler watched in amazement as they all took off rapidly into the sea. The Eidolon used magic to propel them rapidly and they took in the sights while traveling at a high speed.

Normally, someone would be foolish to jump into the raging ocean, especially after the whirlpool and tsunami; however, they were able to take in the aquatic sea life without a problem.

"This is so amazing!" Amanda shouted. "Look at that jellyfish! That’s a beast right?"

"Good catch Amanda! Yes, there are many beasts here. It’s a shame none of us are tamers," Nyx said excitedly.

"Tyler should contract some of these aquatic beasts," Sophie cheered while admiring the vivid colors of the underwater domain. It was a breathtaking sight but fortunately, the magic Levi supplied allowed them to breath effortlessly underwater.

"They’re really enjoying themselves, Tyler. You know you could always link with me and go underwater yourself."

"Let the ladies have their moment! I can do that anytime but it would be nice to do that. I already get your serpent head when I use our link so I wonder what other cool traits I would gain if I contracted more familiars of the sea."

"A variety is always best. That’s why you must meet our big sister soon." Ritsu said with a calm smile.

"Yes it is nice having a balance amongst all of you. Without all of you, I am essentially powerless so thank you for everything!"

They wrapped up their sea adventure and landed on the beach.

"Tomorrow you have to go to the OEA headquarters Tyler, don’t forget. You’re excused from school," Sophie smiled and gave him a big kiss.

"Right! Let’s go home, I’m exhausted."
