Chapter 32: Her Last Name Is Fuyuki?

Ren had never believed in miracles in his whole life. But upon seeing the last name of the girl, his mind immediately went back to Airi.

"What?" he shouted out loud.

Yuna gave a confused look at him. "What’s the problem?"

"Your last name is Fuyuki? I’ve never believed in miracles before .. but now I do."

"What are you talking about?" She asked again.

Ren stared thoughtfully at her. "Do you know of Airi Fuyuki?".

Yuna was surprised and couldn’t believe her ears. Her thoughts ran wild as to why he knew about her sister. Then she remembered everything he told her, about another world and about the Heroes in Japan.

"Are you trying to tell me that ... my sister is alive in another world?"

"Yes." Ren answered. "Your sister is alive and well. She’s also my ally. In fact, she’s one of the Heroes I told you about."

Tears started flowing down Yuna’s face. Thinking that it’s been so long since she had last seen her sister.

"Claire ... Did you know about her last name not telling me?’

[If I had told you, Mr. Sato, you would not have given her the fragment.]

Ren was surprised. This was the first time Claire intentionally told him something. A smile appeared on his lips.

’You did the right thing, Claire. If you had told me, I probably wouldn’t have given it to her. Alderia is dangerous ... but now that the fragment is fused with her, I can’t take it back.’

As Ren talked to Claire, Yuna’s body started to transform.

Her eyes turned clear like glass and her skin turned pure white in color. White wings appeared behind her back, emitting a pale holy glow. A simple white staff with a small unadorned crystal appeared in her hands. She looked so beautiful... silent and pure.

Ren stared at her for a moment before saying softly,

"Beautiful."

Yuna’s face instantly turned red. The only people who had ever called her that were her late parents and her older sister.

A few seconds passed, and the transformation wore off, revealing her normal self. She wiped the remaining tears in her eyes, and sat back cross-legged across Ren in the cafeteria. The other students were starting to leave their classrooms, but she only looked at Ren.

’So ... what is her class?she asked quietly. ’Just tell me if she changed.’

"She has the Puppeteer class." Ren replied. "It lets you control people, but she refuses to use it on anyone without their consent. In addition, she has a cheery personality."

Yuna’s face lit up with a dazzling smile.

"She hasn’t changed at all. That’s my big sister all right."

They spent a while talking.

Ren told her all about Alderia, about the dungeons, the higher-ups who treated people like puppets, the comrades he lost, and the allies who fought with him. On the other hand, Yuna told him about her parents when they were still alive, and how Airi always took care of her.

While they were talking, Claire’s voice resonated in Ren’s mind.

[Ms. Yuna Fuyuki currently has one skill: Quiet Presence. It is locked due to the lack of mana in Japan.]

’What’s the skill information?’

[Quiet Presence (B) - Reduces the user’s presence, making them less likely to be targeted or noticed in battle. Also slightly lowers the aggression of nearby enemies. It can be upgraded to higher ranks.]

’I see. That’s useful.’

While Ren was still talking with Claire in his mind, a tall red-haired boy with a handsome face came up to their table. He had sharp features, a fancy-looking watch on and an arrogant posture, one who had never been told "no" before.

"Hey, pretty lady~" He said with a smirk. "Are you really hanging around this loser? He’s all by himself and doesn’t have a single friend. Just ditch him and come over to my table."

Yuna didn’t even glance at him. Which only angered the boy more. His face contorted in hatred.

"You bitch. You think you’re hot stuff, huh? Ignoring me when I’m talking to you? I’ll have you know my father owns this school. One word from me and he’ll expel you... then make you work for me for the rest of your life."

Yuna still ignored him completely. She had no interest in him. Her focus was on Ren, but she would never admit that out loud. She always had a childish fascination with the necromancers since her younger days.

Ren had heard enough.

"Don’t you see she’s already with me? Are you trying to gain fame using your father’s name? Arrogant people like you never have any shame."

Yuna looked at Ren and smiled, her cheeks tinged a slight red.

The red-haired boy burst out laughing loudly. Many of the students in the cafeteria started watching.

"That’s the chairman’s son.."

"He basically owns the school.."

"Why is that student picking a fight with him?"

The tall boy’s annoyance finally reached its peak. He sent a punch at Ren’s face.

Ren caught it with one hand and pushed the boy’s arm away with a controlled force. The red-haired student stumbled back and rammed into a nearby table.

Ren stood up slowly and gave a menacing smile before walking towards him.

"I hate people like you. Always acting arrogant because you have a rich parent. What does that make you if the wealth isn’t even yours?"

The boy only stared silently at him, his face twisted in anger.

"Answer me. You saw Yuna looking at me and you got jealous. How pathetic."

[Mr. Ren, keep your rage to a minimum. I forgot to mention this earlier - if your anger is high enough, your original power may start returning. At maximum, you could destroy this world just by existing.]

Ren exhaled and turned his back.

"I don’t have time for this. I’m leaving."

The red-haired boy looked at Ren’s back in sheer hatred. If looks could kill, Ren would’ve been sliced into pieces by now. When he turned back to the table, Yuna was already gone - she had left with Ren, without him even noticing.

’When did that happen? She was right there’

Ren and Yuna walked out of the school grounds together. Yuna had told him that she wanted to help him find the remaining fragments, and he accepted her offer.

[Mr. Ren Sato, the Fragment of the Virtue of Kindness is nearby. However, it is heavily guarded.]

’Just tell me where it is.’

[It’s in a bank called MUFG Bank - the largest bank in Japan.]

Ren frowned slightly.

’What’s a bank?’
