Life Game In Other World

Chapter 1947 - 1946: "Since You’re Here...

Chaotic and fragmented.

This incomplete memory seems to have been shattered a million times, anything of slight value has been erased.

He Ao’s consciousness quickly senses the Dreamer’s memories.

Yet these memories still have a purpose, which is ’assimilation’.

He Ao faintly senses that as long as he begins to follow the Dreamer’s memories forward, establishing connections with the characters within and understanding the life and memories belonging to the Dreamer.

He will gradually become the ’Dreamer’.

When he emerges from the memories, he will no longer be He Ao.

Fortunately, He Ao’s soul is strong enough to maintain reason in this state and pull his sanity out of the memories.

Otherwise, he might really have perished here.

Of course, some minor ’fusion’ still exists, but because He Ao is strong enough, he is the main entity of the fusion, absorbing some connections related to these memories.

However, He Ao did not anticipate that memories have such uses, the elderly knows a bit more after all.

But the fragmented degree of this Dreamer’s memory does not seem like a tactic left by a Memory Master.

If he had left the complete memory threads, a whole complete memory matrix, perhaps he could have truly ensnared He Ao.

But he did not, or rather, the being that killed him did not allow any slightly larger opportunity for resurrection.

His memory appears deliberately obliterated and erased.

Conversely, preserving so many memories under such intentional obliteration and erasure indeed shows he was a Memory Master.

Yet, the entity that removed these memories, was it merely to prevent the Dreamer from resurrecting?

Or is there something within the Dreamer’s memory that even It fears?

In pondering, He Ao swept over the Dreamer’s memories again, gradually mastering the operational threads of these memories.

He is able to break free now.

At this moment, the entire memory area started vibrating and twisting rapidly.

Gray brilliance seeped out from these memories.

He Ao suddenly realized what had happened.

The Dreamer’s Talent Sequence has been half pulled out by the Holy Master.

This memory prison had just been secretly activated by the Holy Master, trapping He Ao here, buying time for Himself to pull out the Dreamer’s Talent Sequence.

This guy has so many schemes, even in an absolutely advantageous situation, still playing such tricks.

He Ao gritted his teeth, forcibly activated his Super Memory power, tearing apart surrounding memory fragments.

His consciousness quickly floated upwards.

Soon, he opened his eyes, looking towards the Holy Master.

Dazzling purple brilliance lit up in his field of view, suspended before his chest, emanating from the Dreamer’s Talent Sequence.

Strands of purple-gray brilliance are spilling out along this pulled-out Talent Sequence, this is He Ao’s original power being pulled out.

The intense pain nearly rendered his body numb, almost losing control.

The Holy Master looked at him open his eyes and smiled, "It seems your soul strength isn’t weak, waking up so quickly. No matter, after retrieving the Dreamer, I will open up your soul and have a good look at what secrets you actually possess, and see what relationship you have with ’K’."

"I don’t like others cracking open my skull." He Ao’s face was like water, the surrounding array suddenly burst into dazzling brilliance.

He activated the Dreamer’s remaining power within him.

The parts pulled out by the Holy Master were mostly ones not tightly integrated with He Ao. What’s left within He Ao’s body are the parts he just forcibly mastered.

Plus the recently fused connections from within the Dreamer’s memories, he has higher mastery over the Dreamer’s Talent Sequence.

So now, he can effectively control the remaining Dreamer’s power within his body without suppression.

Power emerged from all directions, coalescing into a brilliant array, wrapping towards the Holy Master, countless threads surged from these arrays, rushing towards the Holy Master, trying to seal His power.

"Oh?" The Holy Master glanced at He Ao, without looking at those densely packed arrays and threads, but slightly raised His hand, pulling further out the Dreamer’s Talent Sequence.

Simultaneously, accompanying His movement, the densely suspended arrays in the sky paused, then instantly collapsed, dispersing into an endless sky of brilliance.

The abruptly shooting threads also crumbled in the void, as if they never existed.

He Ao raised his gaze, looking at the elderly before him.

The Noctis in his memory wasn’t this strong, even if the Holy Master descended power onto Noctis, it shouldn’t enhance Noctis to the point of instantly collapsing an array constructed with God-Overstepping Level power.

Yet before his full surprise could arise, gray brilliance surged suddenly from all directions, piercing through his body.

Gray-purple blood instantly gurgled forth from He Ao’s already frail body.

He Ao lifted his head, watching the gray brilliance.

These brilliances seemed to extend directly from the void, without any basis, like something out of nothing.

Yet He Ao watched closely, and from the world’s base layer, glimpsed some array constructions.

These arrays constructing the brilliance are completed at the world’s base layer.

Currently, the base layer of this world is filled with turbulence and distortion, amidst tumultuous convergence of two worlds.

He Ao for a moment could not understand how the Holy Master accomplished this.

Nevertheless, he had no time to ponder, the gray brilliance was permeating into his body, attempting to control him, stripping away his inner power.

He had to mobilize the Dreamer’s power to suppress these brilliances.

He lifted his head, looking towards the Holy Master.

"It seems you are surprised." The Holy Master also looked at He Ao, continuing to pull the Dreamer’s Talent Sequence further out.

Thunder rumbled in the sky, the rocks on the ground undulated like tides.

That was the sound of world convergence, ripples released within the world when Divine Being manipulates the world.

But the upheaval of this land has already stabilized much compared to before.

A certain invisible force is rapidly pouring into this shattered world, and the main body of the world is quickly undergoing changes.

"Do you feel it? The mechanical plan is about to succeed," the Holy Master looked at He Ao and naturally said, "This world has no place for you, and when the time comes, its rules will not accommodate you. But as an Angel, you can rely on your Talent Sequence to leave here."

His tone was calm, like an elder neighbor chatting casually, "You possess eternal life and some of the pinnacle power in the universe, you can live well in any world, so why insist on staying here?"

He slightly pulled back his hand, further extracting the Dreamer Talent Sequence from He Ao’s body.

His tone remained gentle and natural, like a sincere elder giving a suggestion, "Let go of the Dreamer Talent Sequence, I will help you hide yourself and avoid the pursuit of the Mechanical God. You can flee to the depths of the universe, change your name, and continue to enjoy your life."

"Oh," He Ao calmly gazed at the Holy Master, raising his eyebrows slightly, "What if the place I settle down is targeted by some other Divine Being?"

"Then you keep running," the Holy Master smiled, "A God doesn’t chase down every planet, you will always find one you can inhabit."

"Like a stray dog, wandering in the universe?" He Ao gazed at the Holy Master, smiling, "Worried, unable to settle, like you?"

The Holy Master’s face darkened for a moment, then he raised his hand and forcefully pulled the Dreamer Talent Sequence out a bit further, "Little one, I’m not giving you advice; I am making you choose: die here or survive in the universe."

"You think I will believe," He Ao pressed his hand against the remaining pocket, feeling the slight tremor of the object inside, he raised his head, smiling at the Holy Master, "that you will let me go?"

He suddenly tugged the Dreamer’s power back, and to the Holy Master’s surprise, he pulled back a little bit of the Dreamer Talent Sequence, maintaining a smile on his face, "Do you think once the God of Machinery is done, he won’t come to see who is muddying the waters here?"

He paused slightly, smiling, "You want what the God of Machinery wants, don’t you?"

"Being too smart doesn’t always pay off," the Holy Master slightly lowered his gaze, looking at He Ao, "young one."

He abruptly pulled once more, extracting a bit more of the Talent Sequence He Ao had drawn back.

The lines threading through He Ao’s body became fiercer.

The foundation of the world was already boiling over, and the God of Machinery had reached the final step.

It was apparent that the Holy Master was getting a little anxious too.

And during the ’conversation’ with the Holy Master, He Ao was continuously sensing the object in his pocket.

It was a fragment of a stone, initially a piece of the Prophecy Stone Tablet that the Holy Master had wedged into the Main World.

Logically, this fragment meeting its owner and beginning to tremble wasn’t unusual.

But this fragment was intertwined with another ’clue’; the clue about the follow-up Talent Sequence of the Well Shadow Secret Wizard that He Ao had asked for, and the Well Shadow’s answer was this fragment.

That’s also the reason He Ao carried this fragment with him.

At this moment, the tremor of this fragment forced He Ao to think of some ’other ideas.’

The Tuning Master had mentioned that the gray attribute Talent Sequence 2: Student, corresponds to three E-level Talent Sequences: Magic Apprentice, Craftsman, and Scholar, which correlate to three Divine Positions.

The end of the Scholar is the God of Knowledge, the end of the Craftsman is the God of Machinery, and the Tuning Master didn’t know who the last Divine Position was.

And the Holy Master precisely had a gray Power Attribute, if he hadn’t masked his attribute, then he was very likely to be the Divine Being corresponding to the Magic Apprentice.

Moreover, the ’Secret Wizard’ just happens to be one of the Angels following the Magic Apprentice.

And Divine Beings collect the Talent Sequences of Usurper Gods from their own path.

Combining the above three known conditions, is there a possibility that the follow-up Talent Sequence of the Usurper God of the Secret Wizard is in the hands of the Holy Master?

And the ’Saint Master Incarnation’ in front of him, isn’t the main body but still easily suppresses God-Overstepping Level strength.

Such a powerful incarnation must at least require a ’carrier’ of very high Position to support it.

Then is it possible that the ’carrier’ of the Saint Master Incarnation before him is the follow-up Talent Sequence of the Secret Wizard?

This possibility was quite small, because from the start, He Ao had never felt that attractive pull towards a Talent Sequence of the same path on the Holy Master.

Yet the moment this thought sprouted in He Ao’s mind, it quickly took root and began to grow.

With the Holy Master’s strength, concealing that sense of attraction seemed normal too.

In thought, He Ao gently pinched the fragment.

Since the Well Shadow’s answer pointed to this fragment, then this item must have some uniqueness.

In fact, he should have realized it earlier; since that stone tablet could force its way out of history and cross its barriers, it very likely carried some peculiarities.

It’s just that those peculiarities were overshadowed by the Holy Master, leaving He Ao unaware, and he hadn’t had the intent to check before.

"What are you pondering?" the Holy Master asked, looking at He Ao, his gaze sweeping over the hand holding the fragment.

"I want to see," He Ao slowly spoke, smiling at the Holy Master, "how effective your method is."

In that instant, beams of light and an array lit up around He Ao.

The stone in his hand exploded with brilliant gray light, and then an invisible barrier enveloping the Holy Master’s body was pierced by the brilliant light of the array.

A fierce sense of attraction surged from the depths of He Ao’s soul.

Really?!

Both He Ao and the Holy Master were momentarily stunned.

Immediately after, the Holy Master raised his hand sharply, beams of densely packed light once again pierced through He Ao’s body.

But He Ao’s movements didn’t halt in the slightest, more densely packed arrays lit up around, like clouds covering the sky, spanning hundreds of miles across the firmament, extending to the edge of the sky.

The elderly body before He Ao, as if cut layer by layer by a blade, was split open at the world’s foundation, revealing the gray light inside.

"You use my array to steal my things?" The Holy Master remained expressionless, staring at He Ao, more beams of light flashing around, piercing through He Ao’s body.

At this moment, the array He Ao lit up was indeed the one the Holy Master had taught him to steal the Dreamer Talent Sequence.

Only, he had made some slight modifications, removing some of the setups the Holy Master had previously triggered.

"I think I wronged you before," He Ao looked at the Holy Master, smiling, "I originally thought you were a shameless and stingy old coin, but I was surprised you brought such a big gift for me this time."

He raised his hand, dazzling light burst from his fingertips, and within the Holy Master’s body, strands of power wrapped around that gray light, pulling it outward, "You said you came, and were still so polite."

"You rascal." The Holy Master remained calm, raising his hand, more power gathering within.

But as soon as his power weakened slightly, He Ao fiercely dragged back a bit of the Dreamer Talent Sequence, forcing him to pour his power back in.
