Life Game In Other World

Chapter 1846 - 1845: The True Path of the Martial Arts God?

Main World

He Ao sat on the Gobi Desert, gazing at the tranquil desert, his mind slightly blank.

It seemed that he had strayed somewhat from his path.

Just recently, the Main World presented him with another ’possibility’.

A possibility that was reasonable, which he fully understood but had never considered.

— To merge with the Main World.

Or rather,

’Integration’.

He once conversed with an elderly supreme martial artist while traversing to the Martial Arts World, who had described this possibility to him.

The elderly had attempted to merge himself with the Martial Arts World to break through its limitations on angels and become a true Martial Arts Angel.

Ultimately, his plan failed due to the incompleteness of the Martial Arts World and interventions from the wizards.

His disciple attempted to replicate this path but exposed the existence of the Trapped Destiny Plate, inciting the wrath of the Divine Being, which eventually led to the destruction of the Martial Arts World.

He Ao had also considered this path seriously before, and from this path and other subsequent information, he summarized the path to ’Establishing Dao’ as a means to becoming a Martial Arts Angel.

After that, he didn’t consider this path anymore, merely viewing it as a detour taken by an uninformed predecessor attempting to forge a new path.

But at this moment, He Ao suddenly realized that ’Integration’ was not a detour.

The elderly of the Martial Arts World didn’t succeed on this path back then for another reason: because this path didn’t lead to ’Angel’.

This was actually an attempt to jump a level.

On the surface, the Martial Arts World required integration to become an angel because the Martial Arts World at that time could only support angels at most.

In other words, the level that can be achieved through ’Integration’ is not related to people but the world.

As long as the world’s level is high enough during integration, then the level after integration would also be high enough.

For instance, directly becoming a ’Usurper God’.

This path is the route for a Martial Arts Angel to become a Usurper God.

A martial artist first achieves world support through Establishing Dao, becoming a Martial Arts Angel and mastering a certain world rule, while also initiating the integration process with the world.

The subsequent cultivation direction should be to establish new Dao continuously, increasing the degree of integration with the world until reaching a certain point where they fully merge with the world, becoming its embodiment and executor.

This level of martial artist can be equivalent to the world.

When encountering a more powerful world, like the Main World, they can directly become a powerful God-Overstepping Level strongman.

As long as they are within the range of the world’s power radiation, the martial artist is the world, the world is the martial artist, and the martial artist can continuously receive world support.

This path seems to be the normal route for a martial artist to become a Usurper God?

It explains why creating the world is so difficult.

He Ao scratched his head and sighed.

And how did He Ao realize this?

Because while the Main World was replenishing his energy, it also rejected him. The glimmers of light were both a ’welcome’ and a ’warning’.

Although the new world he created didn’t succeed, it was just one step away from completion, giving him a significant amount of epiphany about the world.

Because of this, in terms of pure fusion, his integration with the new world was much deeper than with the Main World.

After all, in that world, he was the Creator God.

Previously, this degree of fusion was not obvious because the new world wasn’t complete enough.

Now, as the new world is nearing completion, like a house lacking only a roof, the Main World naturally sensed it.

Moreover, the power to construct the new world was replenished from the Main World. He repaired the new world’s rules using the power of Void Consciousness.

Each time his Divine Sense was exhausted, he returned to the Main World to replenish it.

The Main World also seemed to notice this ’deficit’.

From the Main World’s perspective, He Ao was like a wasteful scion continuously depleting his family’s estate to build something outside.

This combined to make the Main World issue a ’warning’ to He Ao.

Yet He Ao hadn’t realized he could inherit his family’s estate previously.

At that moment, he suddenly realized he was facing a ’choice’.

If he chose to integrate with the Main World, based on his past creation experiences, he seemed to have a ’shortcut’ method.

That is to use the power of Barrier Wood to directly delve into the Main World’s depth, forcibly infiltrating the rules of the Main World with the power of his Divine Sense.

Because he’s originally within this world, his Divine Sense would be endlessly replenished by the Main World.

So he wouldn’t even need to go through the recharging process; he could just continuously infiltrate the rules.

He had just attempted to penetrate deep into the world, and it seemed feasible.

This way, he could also quickly reach the step of ’Integration’ with the Main World.

Since the Main World is a complete and vast world itself, he wouldn’t need to worry about things like vital soul and could directly become a Martial Arts Usurper God.

The new world’s scale is far smaller than the Main World. Even if he succeeded in creation, he wasn’t sure whether he could attain the power of a Usurper God.

Whereas in the Main World, the power of a Usurper God was readily accessible.

Of course, choosing this path had its costs.

The Main World is extremely averse to the powers of other worlds, essentially rendering coexistence impossible.

If he chooses to merge with the Main World, He Ao must completely abandon his newly created world, as well as the opportunity to fuse with other worlds.

Moreover, He Ao also found that after ’Integration’, he could influence the rules of the Main World but could not create or modify them.

This was different from his status in the new world.

While the rules of the new world are crude, being patchwork he assembled, he was the absolute creator there, able to define rules and manipulate the world freely.

Although defining incorrect rules could cause operational malfunctions, requiring constant adjustments.

It’s like acquiring an ’administrator’ role after ’Integration’ in the Main World, rather than being a ’master’.

Although the world’s will wouldn’t interfere, he couldn’t act against it either, making any choices that betray the world.

Because all power after integration was granted by the world.

The world can grant him support, as well as withdraw it.

The Martial Arts Usurper God formed under such circumstances is united with the world.

And leaving the Main World’s influence range, He Ao likely wouldn’t be able to receive the Main World’s support; even if he did, it would be very limited.

His position and power would plummet significantly.

Due to the world’s rejection, he couldn’t attempt to integrate with other worlds anymore.

Once fused, extracting the soul would be extremely difficult. Even if he didn’t perish, he would surely suffer severe consequences.

Choosing the path of ’Fusion with Dao’ means being permanently bound to the Main World.

And being locked into the Main World.

If you continue on this path, there is no further way forward.

If you take the path of Creation, although challenging, and the new world might be weak, the limitations won’t be as restrictive as Fusion with Dao, and perhaps, you can take another step forward.

Faced with imminent power and a future potential that isn’t very promising, what choice should one make?

He Ao took a deep breath.

He grasped the Barrier Wood in his hand, and once again his consciousness sank deep into the world.

——

Ningta City

The young man in white lifted his head, walking down the silent and narrow street.

The old stone pavement showed signs of weathering, and the houses lining the street were pockmarked by the passage of time.

Time seemed to stand still in this small town, aside from a couple of seemingly newer small buildings, its structures seemed to belong to a period from twenty or thirty years ago.

Only the haphazard mess of electric wires weaving between the old buildings hinted at the town’s place in the modern world.

At this moment, all the houses had their doors shut tight, even in the dim light, no lamps were lit inside the buildings.

The entire street was eerily quiet, like a dead silence.

There seemed to be no residents left on either side of the street, or perhaps the original inhabitants had hurriedly moved away.

The young man in white continued to walk forward quietly.

Not far away, a faint light appeared on the street, as two Military Police with flashlights hanging on their chests slowly approached.

They seemed to be patrol officers, checking the status within the small town.

The young man in white stopped, glanced down at the long marks etched into the street by an electric chisel.

They appeared to be part of some symbol, one of the foundations of a large Array.

The beam from the flashlights shone upon the young man in white, casting a long shadow on the ground.

"The street is dead empty, the city gate is tightly shut, do we still need to patrol?" a slightly youthful voice followed the flashlight beam to inquire.

"Just follow orders from above. Isn’t it easier to patrol without people around?" a slightly hoarse voice responded, "You have too much of a sense of responsibility. Getting a monthly salary is good enough. Do you really wish for something to happen?"

"True," the youthful voice mused, "we’re just here to earn a wage, having no one around is best."

"Hey, you finally got it." the hoarse voice chuckled.

"But wouldn’t we earn more if we went to the inner city?" the youthful voice asked with some confusion, "Why did you stop me from signing up then?"

"Inner city, is it a place for a kid like you and an Old Geezer like me?" the hoarse voice said with a touch of helplessness, "The salary there is several times higher than in the outer city, this means those big shots really think something might happen in the inner city. Some money you can earn, but you wouldn’t have the life to spend it."

The two patrol officers jokingly walked past the young man, completely unaware of his presence.

"Is it really that crucial?" the flashlight’s beam dimmed, the youthful voice gradually faded away, and the puzzled tone also dissipated.

"Hey, why else would they offer such high wages? Out of goodwill?" the hoarse voice laughed, "And surely there must be an important figure living in the central mansion of the inner city. Otherwise, why arrange for so many guards, including quite a few from Central Earth, those guys are armed to the teeth, I’ve never seen so many high-grade fancy guns in my life."

"I know about it," the youthful voice murmured, "heard the dean from the Central Earth Research Institute might be here."

"What Research Institute?" the hoarse voice paused slightly.

"Not sure, maybe it’s some kind of scientific research? Can’t be researching abnormal humans, right?" the youthful voice was a bit vague.

"These guys from Central Earth wouldn’t be looking for some super gold mine here, would they?" the hoarse voice paused slightly.

"Not likely?" the youthful voice hesitated, "Haven’t seen them bring any mining equipment or the like."

"That’s right," the hoarse voice sighed lightly, "whatever, it’s none of our business, we’re just here for the salary, and if the world ends, those tall guys can handle it."

"Yes, exactly!" the youthful voice wholeheartedly agreed.

And as the two voices faded away, the young man in white resumed walking forward.

Space seemed to twist and fold beneath his steps, and in an instant, a slightly smaller city gate appeared before him.

This city also had an inner city.

The inner city gate was decorated much better than the outer city gate, and it looked far more beautiful.

Furthermore, numerous detection devices were hanging on the inner city gate, seemingly scanning the ground before the gate continuously.

And on the walls, there were neatly arranged machine guns, along with radars and scanners.

The young man in white lifted his gaze, quietly looking at the gate, raising his eyes.

He took a step forward, reaching the closed gate.

This time, he didn’t leap directly over the walls but raised his hand, gently placing it on the gate.

Ka—

Along with a soft sound, the tightly closed gate trembled slightly.

Woo—

Immediately after, the piercing alarm sounded across the walls, rang upon the gate, and red light suddenly flooded the whole gate.

Squeak—Squeak—

The heavy gate, like a banana leaf lightly being pushed open, slowly opened inward.

The old metal pivots creaked, emitting sharp and piercing noises.

Fully armed Military Police quickly assembled at the gate, holding their guns, aiming at the slowly opening gate.

And the young man in white merely lifted his gaze to look at the soldiers behind the gate.

Red warning lights illuminated the ground behind the gate, shining upon the tense faces of the Military Police.

The young man in white lifted his eyes, taking a glance at the inner city’s highest point, the imposing stone tower.

That seemed to be the city’s core, the city’s mansion.

The place where the most important person in the city should reside.

He stepped forward, disappearing from the spot instantly.

And where he originally stood, towards the gate, those Military Police remained nervously gazing at the open gate, gripping their gun handles tightly.

The sharp alarm sounded continuously like flowing water, from the gate, spreading across the inner city walls, reaching the inner city depths, to the highest tower in the inner city.

Dazzling red warning lights lit up the entire inner city.

The Military Police leader gazed at the open gate, pressed the walkie-talkie in his hand, "Tell Dean He someone seems to have entered."

"Who? What do they look like?" came a quick inquiry from the walkie-talkie.

The leader lifted his gaze, looking at the open gate, at the void ground beneath, swallowed hard.

"No idea."
