OneSwordBreaksArmy watched the figure descend from the sky. "Druid God..." he said calmly as Ethan shifted back into his human form and landed lightly before him.

Ethan didn’t waste a second.

"One move."

OneSwordBreaksArmy frowned.

"What?"

A faint smile spread across Ethan’s face as he raised a single finger.

"One move to kill you. I’m on a schedule."

The moment those words were picked up by the overhead livestream drone, the chat exploded.

Players from the Western Frontier Region erupted in outrage. To them, OneSwordBreaksArmy was their undefeated war god, the strongest player their region had ever produced, and now this "Druid God" from the Northern Frontier Region had the audacity to claim he could kill him in a single attack?

The comment section instantly turned into a battlefield, with insults flying so fast they were impossible to read. Ethan’s family tree was dragged through the mud within seconds.

Naturally, the Northern Frontier Region players weren’t about to stay quiet. OneSwordBreaksArmy might have been the West’s pride, but Ethan was their Druid God. Before long, players from other regions joined in as well, many of whom had watched Ethan’s previous fights and had become fans. The Western Region quickly found itself overwhelmed.

For every player defending OneSwordBreaksArmy, a hundred more argued back. The flood of comments became so overwhelming that the stream itself was almost hidden beneath them.

Eventually, the moderators had enough. A massive wave of bans swept through the chat, silencing over a million accounts. Since the Western Region players had started the flame war, most of those bans landed on them, leaving the chat almost completely one-sided.

While the viewers were still busy fighting each other, the battle itself had already begun.

When OneSwordBreaksArmy heard Ethan’s declaration, his expression darkened.

"Hmph. Big words. Let’s see you kill me in one move."

Without another word, he swung his greatsword and launched himself into the air.

It was a Warrior’s classic opening; once the talking stopped, the attack began.

Leap Slash relied heavily on Strength, delivering tremendous force along with overwhelming pressure. If the opponent failed to dodge, the impact would knock them off balance, allowing the Warrior to chain together a relentless combo that rarely gave its target a chance to recover. Even if they avoided the strike, surrendering the initiative meant the Warrior could continue pressing forward without letting up.

That overwhelming momentum was the core of every skilled Warrior’s fighting style.

Of course, it also came with a weakness: against an opponent who could completely shut them down, a Warrior’s slow, heavy attacks often meant they never even got the chance to build that momentum in the first place.

OneSwordBreaksArmy soared high above the battlefield, lightning crackling wildly around his greatsword.

This wasn’t an ordinary Leap Slash. His hidden class, War Stomper, enhanced every offensive skill with Thunder Stomp, meaning the moment he landed, the impact would unleash an explosive burst of lightning in addition to the strike itself.

Watching from the sidelines, Leeroy, MyBrotherIsAFraud, narrowed his eyes. He immediately noticed something different.

Although the skill resembled his own Thunderous Leap Strike, OneSwordBreaksArmy had mastered an advanced technique that allowed him to charge the attack repeatedly while airborne. Each charge accelerated his descent while compressing more lightning into the blade, dramatically increasing both its speed and destructive power.

His expression changed, and he instinctively opened his mouth to warn Ethan.

Before he could speak, however, Ryan, MyElderBrotherIsADog, quietly tapped him with his staff.

"Relax," Ryan whispered. "Just watch."

Before Leeroy could ask what he meant, OneSwordBreaksArmy crashed down like a falling meteor, a deafening boom echoing as blue lightning exploded around him and his massive greatsword came roaring toward Ethan’s head.

Everyone watching expected Ethan to dodge, but he didn’t. Instead, he transformed.

His human body expanded in an instant, becoming his unique Bear Form.

Unlike the bulky bears most Druids transformed into, Ethan’s form was lean, broad-shouldered, and powerfully built, almost resembling a silverback gorilla. Silver-white fur covered his body, threaded with shimmering scales and intricate runic patterns that glowed softly beneath the light.

The greatsword came crashing down, and a brilliant flash of silver erupted. A deafening explosion echoed across the battlefield as lightning burst outward, dancing wildly across Ethan’s body.

Then everything stopped. The greatsword froze against Ethan’s head as though it had struck an immovable mountain.

"What?"

"No way!"

"He blocked that with Iron Hide?"

"He didn’t even take damage!"

"Am I seeing this right?"

"So that’s the Druid God’s defense..."

Every spectator stared in disbelief. No one had imagined that the strongest opening attack from one of the Western Region’s greatest players would be stopped so effortlessly.

OneSwordBreaksArmy’s arms shook violently. The impact had numbed both of his hands.

If this had happened in reality, he was certain his palms would have split open from the force alone. Even through the game’s pain limiter, sharp pain shot through his wrists.

’Impossible.’ That single thought echoed endlessly through his mind.

When his blade struck Ethan, it hadn’t felt like hitting flesh. It hadn’t even felt like striking armor. It was like smashing his sword into a solid block of diamond.

In over two years of playing Ethereal, he had never experienced anything remotely like it.

A quiet chuckle reached his ears.

"I let you have your shot. My turn."

The words snapped OneSwordBreaksArmy back to reality, but by then, it was already too late.

Ethan, still in Bear Form, was right in front of him.

OneSwordBreaksArmy’s greatsword had excellent reach, but at this distance it became more of a burden than an advantage. He tried to pull it back to defend himself, only to realize he’d hesitated for a fraction of a second too long.

Those crimson eyes were already inches from his face. Ethan lunged forward, his powerful arms shooting out and seizing OneSwordBreaksArmy by both shoulders.

"What kind of move is that?" someone in the audience blurted out.

No one answered. Everyone was too busy staring at what happened next.

With a violent yank, Ethan dragged OneSwordBreaksArmy toward him.

Despite being a Strength-focused War Stomper, OneSwordBreaksArmy was hauled forward as though he weighed nothing at all, his body crashing helplessly into Ethan’s chest before he could resist.

"Heavy Strike." Ethan leaned his head back, then drove it forward like a battering ram.

CRACK. SPLAT. Blood burst into the air as OneSwordBreaksArmy’s skull shattered from the impact.

His lifeless body went limp instantly.

"Tch... ow. That actually stung."

Ethan casually let go, allowing the corpse to collapse onto the ground before shifting back into his human form. He rubbed his forehead with a faint grimace, looking far more annoyed by the headache than impressed by the kill.

The battlefield fell into complete silence, and then Leo’s voice rang out.

"Holy shit... you can use skills like that?"

Ethan looked over with an amused grin.

"You’ll be able to do it too once you reach Level 125."
