Chapter 527: Ch 527 Brutal Blood Super Grand Fleet

"Alert! Massive object moving at high velocity through a hyperspace corridor directly toward the system! The target has been caught by our anti-hyperspace array and is being dragged down by the gravitational domain!"

"We are facing significant pushback from the target! Based on its detectable mass and the resistance against our anti-hyperspace array and gravitational domain, it is suspected to be a super-battleship or above-class vessel!" the operator called out.

This immediately drew the attention of the figure seated directly in the center of the command bridge. Even seated, his imposing 2.2-meter frame, stark white hair, pale complexion, and refined humanoid features marked him unmistakably as one of the elite of the Star Race. He narrowed his eyes, tracking the cascading data streams, and issued his command:

"Have the armada prepare. Cancel all ongoing operations across the system and execute tactical micro-jumps to recall all vessels toward the enemy's projected exit point. Activate all defense grids and shielding immediately. Raise the combat alert to Level 2 and begin warming up main weapons systems. The moment the vessel completes hyperspace drop and hostile identity is confirmed, all ships have free fire."

He paused, his gaze sharpening on the tactical display. "The Brutal Blood Super Grand Fleet will anchor the center of the formation, while the local system fleets deploy to screen our vanguard and flanks."

The communications operators nodded sharply and instantly relayed the directives down the chain to every ship and commanding officer.

Within minutes, flash after flash signaled the arrival of vessels dropping out of micro-warp coordinates across the sector. Adjusting their thrust vectors mid way, the fleet smoothly locked into a massive, multi-tiered diamond formation.

One detachment spearheaded the vanguard, two more secured the lateral flanks, and the Brutal Blood Super Grand Fleet locked into the impenetrable center just behind the vanguard.

The Brutal Blood Super Grand Fleet, accompanied by its defense guard, maintained a rigid stance—ill-prepared for what was descending upon them.

Their colossal super battleships, standard battleships, and battlecruisers locked into synchronized attack cycles, while the vanguard and flanking elements sealed the defensive perimeter.

Deep-range sensor systems tracked a violent incoming signature tearing through hyperspace.

Directly ahead of the grand armada, the defense guard's automated countermeasures sprang into action. Hundreds of massive spherical defense drones drifted into position before the vanguard and flanks.

From the curved metallic hulls of these spheres, thousands upon thousands of angular panels—resembling elongated coffins—slid outward like blooming flowers. Upon reaching full extension, the arrays linked together via emerald containment beams.

In the span of a heartbeat, a monolithic, circular energy barrier stretching across thousands of kilometers coalesced before the fleet, forming an impenetrable luminous wall.

Suddenly, the spatial fabric just beyond the barrier began to fluctuate violently. A titanic vessel dropped out of hyperspace into real space, the sheer atmospheric and spatial wake of its emergence shattering nearby sensor telemetry.

The ship stretched an incomprehensible 199.9 kilometers long—nearly two hundred kilometers of solid hull. Looking upon the leviathan, the Grand Commander of the Blood Fleet, along with his entire command bridge, drew a sharp, silent breath; none of them had ever witnessed a starship of such monstrous proportions.

Before the Grand Commander could utter a single order—without warning, identification, or a microsecond's hesitation—the dorsal obliterator cannons of the unknown titan ignited in a blinding cascade of light, unleashing its full weapon batteries in an opening salvo of sheer, apocalyptic devastation.

Over eighteen thousand EW-203 Pulverizers—half primed in pure energy states and half loaded with kinetic munitions—flashed simultaneously across the Obliterator's hull. Firing almost as one, a cataclysmic volley descended upon the interlocking coffin shields like a localized, endless meteor storm.

The colossal emerald barrier groaned beneath the staggering kinetic impact and energy overload. Violent ripples tore across its surface within milliseconds, followed instantly by fractures in the containment lattice. A heartbeat later, the coffin shields buckled entirely, exposing the massive core spheres floating helpless within the void.

Before the armada's tactical network could even process the collapse of dozens of frontline shields, the Obliterator's secondary, main, and superheavy weapon systems ignited in rapid succession. Four hundred and eighty SE-298 Sentinel weapon batteries discharged superheated annihilation plasma shells, swiftly followed by one hundred and eight SE-238 Obliterator-class 1500mm dual annihilation railguns and one hundred and twenty-eight capital-class quad antimatter annihilation pulse cannons.

The ship unleashed this thunderous barrage of blinding radiance directly into both flanking formations. Meanwhile, twin annihilation cluster beam cannons lanced straight toward the vanguard, fracturing mid-flight into a swarm of independent, lethal energy vectors.

The shields of the Star Armada, which were created to withstand high-powered weapon batteries even from higher-tier and higher-class ships, collapsed on contact. Tier-reinforced, super-enriched alloy hulls crumpled and split before breaking apart into multiple fragments, and missiles ran rampant across the two vanguards very quickly.

Across the vanguard, the situation was even more chaotic, as cluster beams hit one ship after another, each ship exploding into a massive sun that even swallowed the nearby vessels into it, chewing through their shields and hulls like they were nothing more than cardboard or something.

And before the Star People even knew what had happened, in the sudden attack and first salvo of the Obliterator superweapon batteries, nearly half of the vanguard had been destroyed. More than half of both vanguards were completely wiped out, and the remaining ships were not in much better shape themselves.

Meanwhile, the central formation of the Star Armada, which contained most, if not all, of the Brutal Blood Grand Fleet, remained standing still, watching this happen in horror. But swiftly, their horror gave way to their burning primal fury as they watched their comrades fall just like that.

They bellowed:

"Fire!!! Return fire on the hostile vessels immediately!!!!"

The Grand Commander slammed his fist into his command seat, his eyes bloodshot with rage.

After the Star Empire's aggressive posturing against the newly crowned Human Empire, the Celestial Void Empire, and the Celestial Void Empire's actions of wiping out the Bright Moon Republic and Hegemony—the two powers under their Star Empire—they had anticipated that the Star Empire would definitely retaliate against them as well. Yet never had they anticipated that the Celestial Void Empire would send a single ship, no matter how massive and powerful it was, to drive directly into their fortified stronghold.

"This is madness! Die, you human scum! Tear them out of the star! Show them the might of our Star People!"

Snapping out of their paralysis after hearing the voice of the Grand Commander, the surviving ships in the vanguard and flanks, and even the central forces, unleashed every weapon system they could in full throttle. Particle beams, plasma torpedoes, and kinetic weapon batteries—all were fired at their disposal.

Tens of thousands of defense platforms that had not been destroyed successfully joined the barrage.

Just about a hundred thousand warships poured every bit of their firepower toward the lone enemy that had come knocking at their doors, knowing that this was their chance.

Beams lanced forward alongside kinetic shells, converging together at a single point. A blinding sphere, like a miniature sun, immediately rose where the enemy ship was, completely engulfing it in a raging storm of destruction.

"Huff, huff! Take this, you scums!!"

Following that, the Star People, while watching the human ship, sighed in relief and cheered across the armada. Shouts of celebration began to rise immediately after, as if they had dealt with this human ship, which had eaten through more than twenty thousand of their ships in just a couple of seconds, simply like that.

Just as they were celebrating, the ship sensors updated and alarms almost rang, but it was too late for most of them to even react.

Before the firestorm had even begun to dissipate around the enemy ship, the Star Empire ships' sensors registered an energy fluctuation, as if telling them a fact that the target was still fine and had not been destroyed.

Meanwhile, within the raging storm of fire, surrounded by sleek, semi-transparent, dark void-like Transcendent Dark Matter Shields, the ship was doing just fine.

Under the concentrated firepower of just about a hundred thousand warships and tens of thousands of defense attack battery stations, the Transcendent Void Shield had not suffered any breach.

Heck, forget about a breach. These attacks were not even able to produce a visible ripple across the surface of the Void Shield.

And the Obliterator remained entirely fine.

Before the Star Defense Armada could even grasp what had happened, the Obliterator fired its second salvo from within the storm of fire that surrounded it.

And exactly this was detected by the sensors of the Star Armada.

Seeing the coming attack, only a few higher-level captains were able to react and activate evasive maneuvers, but it was already too late to do anything.

Against the Obliterator's weapon batteries, whose attack speed was simply too fast, no evasive maneuver was able to save any of them.

And soon, sun after sun began to rise around the vanguard and its two flanks, and even the central formation, which contained the Brutal Blood Grand Fleet, suffered in this salvo.
