As he spoke, Su Yang shook his head helplessly, but he couldn't hide the look of satisfaction on his face.

"You should find some time to stay at the Crown Territory for a while. Think of it as a retreat. The hot springs there help with high blood pressure, cholesterol, and blood sugar," Feng Mountain reminded him with a sincere look.

The Crown Territory was blessed by the tribe's Fire Seed.

While it couldn't make someone live to be a hundred, it did have a noticeably positive effect on chronic and age-related illnesses like the "three highs."

"I know. Things have been busy at the company lately, but I'm planning to go stay at the Crown Territory for a few days once this period is over." As Su Yang spoke, he reached out, grabbed a piece of braised duck gizzard, and deftly popped it into his mouth. After chewing for a moment, he continued, "I've heard Zhang Kai sing the Crown Territory's praises for a long time but never had the chance to go. I have to experience it for myself this time."

Listening from the side, Zhang Kai chimed in, "That's right, Old Su. The air and environment at the Crown Territory are fantastic. And those hot springs... a good soak will make you feel comfortable all over."

Then, seeing Feng Mountain just sitting there stiffly, neither eating nor drinking, Zhang Kai felt he was putting a damper on his good mood and made a suggestion.

"Brother Feng, since you don't drink, why don't you go do some fishing? Have the captain find you a rod."

"Alright, you two take your time." Feng Mountain was also feeling a bit bored just sitting around and didn't want to disturb their fun. He stood up, left the second-floor sun lounge, and went down to the yacht's first deck.

The captain was a young Black man.

It was clear he spent his years on the sea under the scorching sun; his face, neck, and arms were tanned to a dark, oily sheen.

After Feng Mountain explained what he wanted,

the captain quickly brought him a sea fishing rod.

Rod in hand, Feng Mountain walked to the stern to start fishing.

A moment later, the captain emerged from the cabin again with a bait bucket, which he placed gently beside Feng Mountain. "Mr. Feng," he said enthusiastically,

"these are sandworms I bought before we set sail. They're great for catching yellow croakers. A lot of people have been catching them in this area recently. Good luck."

After thanking him, Feng Mountain grabbed a wriggling sandworm from the bucket and skillfully threaded it onto the hook.

Using the weight of the sinker, he gave the rod a gentle swing and cast the hook and bait into the sea.

The hook hit the water with a small splash, and the bobber floated steadily on the surface.

For the next while, Feng Mountain focused his full attention on the bobber, quietly waiting for a fish to bite.

A gentle breeze swept across the sea as the yacht moved slowly forward. Aside from the sound of waves lapping against the hull and the occasional cry of a seagull, everything was peaceful and pleasant.

Immersed in this tranquility, Feng Mountain felt a sense of leisurely contentment grow within him.

He couldn't help but recall his time in the Bering Sea.

'Though the weather in the Bering Sea was nowhere near as nice as it is back home.'

「...」

The yacht gently bobbed up and down with the waves, its rocking rhythm nearly lulling Feng Mountain to sleep in his chair.

But the bobber remained completely still.

There wasn't the slightest sign of it dipping or swaying.

"How's it going? Nothing's taken the bait yet? Your fishing skills are lacking!"

A teasing voice came from behind him.

Su Yang had come down from the second-floor lounge at some point, his face flushed from the alcohol.

"What can I do if there are no fish? Why don't you jump in and hook one for me?" Feng Mountain replied without turning around, his tone laced with resignation.

He lifted the rod. The once-lively, wriggling sandworm had been soaking in the sea for so long,

that it now hung limp and motionless on the hook.

Just then, Zhang Kai, his face bright red, walked over to the side of the boat. He'd clearly had his fair share of drinks as well.

Glancing at the empty fish bucket, he couldn't help but laugh. "Haha, Brother Feng, I forgot to tell you! They overfished these coastal waters so badly the last couple of years, not even sparing the small fry. There haven't been any fish in this area for a long time."

'And you told me to come fishing when there are no fish!'

Feng Mountain was speechless. 'What a waste of time,' he thought, and was about to pack up his rod.

But just then, an idea flashed through his mind.

'Just because others can't catch anything doesn't mean I can't.'

With that thought, he pulled another sandworm from the bait bucket and skillfully threaded it onto the hook.

Zhang Kai saw this and gained a new appreciation for Feng Mountain's stubbornness. "Brother Feng, you really refuse to give up, huh?" he couldn't help but say. "I'm not kidding you, there really are no fish in this area. If you want to fish, I'll find a deep-sea fishing boat tomorrow, and we can go to the deep-water zones."

"It's fine. I'm not doing anything else anyway. I'll fish a little longer. You guys go on with what you were doing."

Feng Mountain waved his hand dismissively, an annoyed expression on his face. He clearly didn't want to listen to Zhang Kai drone on.

He just wanted to try again in peace and see if he could actually catch a fish.

Zhang Kai gave a helpless smile and said no more, turning to head back to the lounge.

Su Yang, flushed and standing to the side, had also tried fishing in this area before and had always come up empty. "Brother Feng, what Zhang Kai said is—"

But he didn't get to finish his sentence.

He saw the bobber floating on the water in the distance suddenly vanish.

Su Yang's tone changed in an instant. His eyes went wide with disbelief as he shouted excitedly,

"Fish on! Set the hook!!"

Feng Mountain had also seen the bobber disappear. The moment Su Yang shouted, he gripped the rod with both hands and yanked it upward.

A powerful pull shot through the rod, and the muscles in his arms tensed instantly.

"Whoa, this one's got some fight!" Feng Mountain couldn't help but exclaim.

The rod was bent into a deep arc.

ZZZING! The fishing line instantly went taut.

Immediately after,

the line started zipping back and forth across the water's surface at high speed,

making a distinct WHIZZING sound as it sliced through the water.

"Damn, that's a big one! Wang, hurry up and bring the landing net!" As a veteran sea fishing enthusiast, Su Yang could tell from years of experience that the fish on the hook was heavy.

Watching the speed at which the line was cutting through the water,

he was certain this fish weighed at least eleven pounds.

However, he couldn't be sure what kind of fish it was just yet.

After all, it had bit so aggressively and was pulling the line with so much force.

There was a high chance it was a sea bass, but it could also be another type of large marine fish.

Hearing Su Yang's shout, the captain, Wang, quickly grabbed a landing net from the cabin and ran over.

"President Su, here's the net!"

Wang said, handing the net to Su Yang. His eyes were also glued to the water, his face filled with anticipation.

Feng Mountain gripped the rod tightly, leaning back slightly and planting his feet firmly as he engaged in a fierce tug-of-war with the fish in the sea.

He could feel the fish's every struggle and surge of power.

Zhang Kai stood to the side, captivated by the tense and exciting scene. He watched without blinking, muttering, "Man, that fish is huge. I wonder if he can reel it in."

"Brother Feng, let me give it a try!"

Su Yang watched from the side, his eyes filled with longing and excitement.

For a sea fishing enthusiast, the greatest joy of the sport, besides catching the fish, is the process of battling it.

In this process, both sides compete in strength and endurance. The thrilling, intense feeling is completely addictive.

"Careful!" Feng Mountain heaved the rod up, trying to absorb some of the fish's power.

Taking advantage of the momentary lull, he quickly handed the rod to Su Yang, who was standing beside him.

With an ecstatic expression, Su Yang eagerly took the rod with both hands.

However, the instant he gripped it,

an immense force shot through it, pulling his arms straight and making his body lurch forward involuntarily.

"Wang, quick, get me the fighting belt!" Su Yang shouted, realizing the fish's strength far exceeded his expectations.

A fighting belt is an auxiliary piece of equipment used in sea fishing to secure the rod.

It is usually worn around the waist.

Its purpose is to help the angler better withstand the pull of the rod when fighting a large fish, reducing the strain on their arms and shoulders.

It allows the angler to control the rod more stably while battling the fish.
