Chapter 722: Chapter 339: A New Venture Begins!

Now it’s time to face the most challenging business issue.

He took a deep breath and dialed a transatlantic call to New York, United States.

The phone rang for a long time before being answered, and a rapid English voice came through the receiver, "Lin? It’s nighttime in New York, you better have something big, or I’m going to kill you."

While Scoot was speaking, a nasal, charming female voice faintly complained in the background, "Oh, darling, don’t stop... tell him to buzz off..."

Lin Yu’an’s lips curled into a wry smile.

He could almost imagine the scene on the other end, Scoot shirtless on the luxurious apartment bed, impatiently answering the phone while appeasing a female celebrity beside him.

"Hi, Scoot." Lin Yu’an switched to fluent English, speaking calmly, "Sorry for interrupting your nightlife."

"But I’m afraid this really is something big, perhaps more exciting than your companion there."

On the other end, Scoot clearly paused. His keen professional intuition allowed him to instantly sense something unusual in Lin Yu’an’s calm tone.

"...wait a moment."

A rustling sound came through the receiver again, as if he had gotten out of bed and walked into another room, closing the door, leaving a sudden quiet around.

When his voice came through again, it was no longer lazy and impatient, but rather calm and focused.

"Go ahead, Lin, I’m listening. What’s going on?"

Lin Yu’an spent nearly twenty minutes fully explaining the entire situation and the project’s potential indefinite postponement dilemma without reservation.

After listening, the other end fell into a long silence.

"...shit." Scoot finally spoke, his voice becoming extremely serious, "Lin, do you know what this means?"

"We have a clear program delivery schedule in the sponsorship contract with Mercedes. Not to mention TikTok and Tencent, they’ve invested astronomical promotional resources for this S-level project."

"If we unilaterally terminate, we would face not only astronomical breach of contract lawsuits but also complete bankruptcy of the entire team’s reputation!"

"I know." Lin Yu’an’s voice remained calm.

"So, what’s your plan now? Don’t tell me you intend to reason with those officials, that won’t work." Scoot stated point-blank.

"Of course not." Lin Yu’an’s lips curled into a smile, "I have a new plan. One that’s bigger, crazier, and even more exciting for them."

"Let’s hear it." Scoot’s interest was piqued.

"The mountains can’t be climbed anymore, the risks on land are now uncontrollable."

Lin Yu’an looked out the window, a new light flashing in his eyes, "So, my next battleground is the sea."

"The sea?"

"Exactly, a brand new project! Around the World from Scratch." Lin Yu’an’s voice was full of powerful confidence and persuasion.

"I will fully showcase to audiences worldwide in front of the cameras how someone who knows nothing about sailing."

"Learns from scratch to steer a sailboat, dive, and hunt underwater... ultimately sailing solo around the world!"

"Scoot, do you understand what this means? Our wilderness is no longer confined to a small piece of land, but the entire blue planet!"

"I can explore uninhabited islands, dance with whales in the deep sea, challenge the most terrifying storms on Earth!"

"I can go to Africa for legal hunting — lions, zebras, rhinos, African elephants..."

"Wait, wait!" Scoot jumped up from the sofa, like a cat whose tail was stepped on.

"Stop! Lin, are you crazy? Hunting? In Africa? Lions and elephants? Are you trying to make your career too easy?"

"Do you know how dirty the term ’trophy hunting’ is on the internet? It’s practically suicidal!"

He paced back and forth anxiously, "Do you remember the American dentist a few years ago who killed Lion King Cecil? He was doxxed to social death by global netizens!"

"The positive image you’ve painstakingly built — that you hunt only for survival — would collapse the moment there’s a photo of you standing beside a non-edible animal’s carcass!"

Faced with Scoot’s agitation, Lin Yu’an appeared exceptionally calm.

Waiting for the other party to calm down slightly, he slowly spoke, "Scoot, I know how mainstream opinion views this matter."

"But you’re seeing a one-sided world created by people living in cities who’ve never even seen real wild animals."

"Do you think no one watches this sort of content? Check YouTube now and do a search. There are numerous bloggers who specialize in filming hunting, many channels have millions of subscribers."

"From North American archery hunting to professional hunting tours in Africa, it’s a huge, mature community with astonishing purchasing power."

"They’re simply not noticed by mainstream media, but they do exist."

"And most importantly," Lin Yu’an’s gaze sharpened, "I won’t be like those people who drive and use top-notch technology to slaughter a plain."

"My principle is fair pursuit; I will track on foot with local professional guides, which may take days or even a week."

"This is the ultimate test of hunter skills, stamina, and willpower, and it’s also a form of respect for nature and the prey. This isn’t slaughter, it’s a continuation of human instincts spanning tens of thousands of years."
