King of Hundred Victories Saber
Chapter 1244 - 321: East Sea Wields Blade to Suppress Wokou Turmoil, Northern Frontier Raises Sword to Protect the People_2
Fu Bu Erzang let out an angry roar, and the Jue Lin Mystery Armor suddenly sprayed out foul, fishy black water, corroding the ground with a "zizizi" hiss.
Lie Quan’s Heaven and Earth Saber spun in a rapid dance as he executed "Heaven and Earth Barrier," the saber light blocking all of the black water.
Xie Wen circled around to the enemy’s rear, his Flying Eagle Darts aimed specifically at the armor’s joints, but he then heard a clanging "dang-lang" sound, as if he had struck fine steel.
"Realgar fire!" Shi Feiyang suddenly shouted.
Xiang Kun flicked out three bamboo arrows wrapped in medicinal powder with his iron flute, and Liao Pei’s Long Arm Fist whipped up a gust that ignited the arrowheads.
The three fire arrows shot toward Fu Bu Erzang like meteors; when they struck the Jue Lin Mystery Armor, it let out a shrill, miserable screech and writhed as though it were a living thing.
"No!" The Wokou leader screamed in agony as the surface of the Jue Lin Mystery Armor began to melt, revealing the skin beneath, covered in scale-like scars.
Seizing the chance, Shi Feiyang closed in, the Bright Jade Technique running at full force, his skin nearly transparent. He pressed both palms onto Fu Bu Erzang’s shoulders, cold energy coursing along the meridians straight into his heart vessels. "Japanese cur, hand over your life!" In an instant, ice crystals formed on the Wokou leader’s four limbs.
Fu Bu Erzang’s eyes bulged wide, a gurgling sound rising from his throat as his entire body turned into an ice sculpture, then shattered with a "hua-la" into countless shards of ice.
The remaining Wokou saw their leader die so miserably and their morale instantly collapsed. The heroes of Mighty Sakura pressed the advantage; Liao Pei’s Long Arm Fist, Lie Quan’s Heaven and Earth Saber, Xiang Kun’s iron flute, Xie Wen’s Flying Eagle Darts, together with Shi Feiyang’s Hundred Victories Saber Technique, coordinated seamlessly, slaughtering the Wokou until they cast aside helmets and armor in panic.
Under the blood-red setting sun, the waves rolled back, carrying the corpses away, leaving only the shattered Jiao Lin Mystery Armor, glimmering with a dim ghostly light upon the beach, telling of the brutal conclusion of this slaughter. Above the East Sea, black clouds heaved like ink, waves pounding against the sides of the modified Fu-ships, sending out a deafening roar.
Shi Feiyang stood at the prow clad in tight-fitting black garb, the Bright Jade Technique circulating as a warm jade-like radiance flowed over his skin, making him seem like a War God descended to the mortal world. Behind him, Liao Pei clenched his fists, his knuckles whitening from the force, veins bulging at the joints like gnarled old tree roots; Lie Quan’s Heaven and Earth Saber lay across his chest, the blade reflecting the sullen sky; Xiang Kun gently stroked his iron flute—before any sound arose, a chilling aura of slaughter had already spread out; Xie Wen’s gaze was sharp as an eagle’s, Flying Eagle Darts already caught between his fingers, ready to strike at any moment.
"Look! The Wokou’s pirate ships!" Liao Pei suddenly roared, his voice like a great bell, his thick arm pointing toward the distance.
Three Wokou warships were surging through the waves toward them; skull flags on their masts snapped sharply in the wind, and the ghastly faces carved upon the prows seemed to be grinning ferociously.
Fu Bu Sanzang stood upon the main ship’s deck, the Jiao Lin Mystery Armor over his shoulders shimmering with a ghostly blue water-light, while the Jue Lin short blade in his hand flickered with a cold, murderous gleam.
"Ready the Fire Dragon Emerges from the Water Cannon!" At Shi Feiyang’s command, the "Fire Dragon Emerges from the Water Cannon," meticulously designed by Wu Zhong at the bow, slowly raised its muzzle.
This piece of firearms had a unique form, its barrel shaped like a dragon, jaws agape, packed within with specially made gunpowder and iron shot.
With the order to ignite, a thunderous "hong-long" exploded; several "fire dragons" burst from the water, trailing long tongues of flame as they streaked straight toward the Wokou warships.
"Petty tricks!" Fu Bu Sanzang sneered coldly, his short blade flicking, and the Wokou warship immediately spewed out billowing black mist.
In an instant, the sea was shrouded in dense fog, and visibility dropped sharply.
Shi Feiyang’s brows knitted tightly as he drove the Bright Jade Technique to its limits, a thin white mist rising over his entire body as he tried to disperse this eerie sea fog. "Everyone be careful, there’s something strange in this mist!" he called out loudly.
Before his words had faded, three black shadows darted forth from within the fog—they were the Wokou elites known as the "Three Ghosts of the Hidden Mist."
They rode on special float-boards, wielding Japanese Sabers, their movements drifting and ghostlike.
Liao Pei’s eyes widened, murderous intent surging in his tigerish gaze as he bellowed, "Good, come!" His body shot out like an arrow loosed from the string, the bones in his arms cracking like exploding beans as the Long Arm Fist unfolded in an instant.
The first to clash was "Ghost Face," who chopped down with his saber, the blade bringing a reek of blood.
Liao Pei did not retreat but advanced instead, his left arm darting out like a Spiritual Snake as he used "Long Arm Reaching the Clouds" to knock the Japanese Saber aside, while his right fist, carrying the weight of a thousand catties, crashed straight into the opponent’s chest. With a muffled "peng," "Ghost Face" flew backward like a cut kite, spraying blood wildly from his mouth.
Seeing this, "Ghost Claw" screeched and launched a flanking attack, his ten fingers fitted with poison-tempered steel claws that glimmered with a ghostly green light.
Liao Pei tilted his body to evade, knees bending slightly before he suddenly exploded upward, twisting in midair as he executed the "Long-Armed Tornado Leg," sweeping toward "Ghost Claw" like a streak of black lightning. "Ghost Claw" hastily raised his arms to block, but with a crisp "ka-cha," his arm bones snapped on the spot, and he was kicked into the sea, where a great plume of blood blossomed. The last of the three, "Ghost Fang," was the most cunning; hiding within the fog, he suddenly shot out several Bone-Piercing Nails.
Liao Pei snorted angrily, his arms whirling at great speed as he unleashed the "Long Arm Iron Fan," his fist wind fanning the air and knocking every Bone-Piercing Nail aside.
Immediately after, he strode forward in great steps, each footfall seeming as heavy as a thousand catties, the deck trembling faintly beneath him.
When he closed in on "Ghost Fang," Liao Pei thrust out both palms together, delivering a "Long Arm Mountain-Opening," the palm wind carrying the force of Mountain-Splitting Rock-Breaking as it slammed squarely into "Ghost Fang." His body was penetrated through by the Palm Force in an instant, flung backward to crash against the ship’s rail before slumping to the deck, dead on the spot.
Yet Wokou continued to pour forth from within the sea fog; it was as if endless troops were concealed in that darkness.
Liao Pei wiped the blood from his face, drawing great heaving breaths, but there was not a trace of fear in his eyes as he roared, "Come one, I kill one! Come in pairs, I wipe out the pair!" His voice echoed over the sea, filled with fearless, unyielding fervor.
