Chapter 1232: Chapter 319: Iron Palms and Mandarin Duck Blades Clash in the Khan’s Tent, Poison Lash and Broken Sword Weep on the Wasteland (Part 2)
“Scum of the Heroic Sakura Association! Did you think I wouldn’t know you want to annex Kerchin?” He and Nangong Quan launched an attack from both sides, the prairie wind from his scimitar merged with the powerful Inner Strength of the Vajra Palm, trapping Wu Zhong in the center.
The air was twisted and distorted by the swirling cyclones of their fierce Inner Strength, and even the copper oil lamps within the tent were sucked into the air.
A golden light suddenly radiated from Wu Zhong’s body as the Inner Strength of the Six Harmonies True Scripture surged like boiling water. “Traitor!” he shouted, spewing a mist of gold-red blood from his throat. As he launched the “Demon Subduing Divine Palm,” the golden silhouette of his hand coalesced into the figure of a Vajra with three heads and six arms.
The swastika symbol in the palm of the Vajra collided violently with the scimitar and the Vajra Palm, sending a wave that blew off the tent’s leather roof, and the sky full of stars was suddenly obscured by a blood-colored cloud.
In the darkness, Xiao Lingling wielded the Mandarin Duck Saber, creating a silver arc like “Swallow’s Wing in Harmony,” but it solidified inch by inch in the poisonous mist of Yin Tianhan. She gritted her teeth and swung her saber downward, the blade cutting off a strand of her own hair.
As Miao Menlong drew his bow, the reverse barbs of the peacock-feathered arrow’s tail sliced his fingers open, dripping blood. At the moment the arrow tore through the air, Tie Wendie’s “Five Blessings Piling Together” flying swords shredded it into dust, and the shattered feathers fell like shooting stars, igniting the ground soaked with fermented mare’s milk.
Shan Zhi’s plum blossom darts shuttled through the darkness like a spectral presence, only to be bounced back by Zhu Yulong and his wife’s dazzling blade work.
A dart blade skimmed across Ren Xiaoyan’s cheek, immediately splitting open a gash an inch long. Rather than anger, she laughed maniacally, “Good! Good! Now this is interesting!” Abandoning defense, her Dual Blades transformed into two streaks of blood-red lightning targeting Shan Zhi’s throat.
Yin Tianhan’s poisonous claw grazed Wu Zhong’s shoulder, the purple-black venom snaking through his meridians like a living serpent.
Wu Zhong glared fiercely, forcibly circulating the Six Harmonies True Scripture, transforming the golden Inner Strength into a golden dragon slithering over his skin.
He countered with a backhand strike that sent Nangong Quan’s massive body crashing into three pillars, shattering them, as a blood mist mixed with a broken rib spewed from his mouth. Lu’er Wuliu seized the opportunity to stab the scimitar beneath Wu Zhong’s ribs, the runes ravenously consuming his vitality.
Unexpectedly, Wu Zhong seized the blade, and the flesh of his palm was instantly corroded away, revealing the ghastly white bones beneath.
“Want to kill me?” The golden blood spilling from his lips sizzled holes into Lu’er Wuliu’s face, “First ask whether this Demon Subduing Divine Palm agrees!” The golden silhouette of his hand reformed, aiming directly at the face of the Kerchin Leader, the wind from his palm caused a glass-like shattering sound in the air.
By now, the royal tent had become an Asura Purgatory, with dismembered limbs mixed with liquor, poisonous mist, and blood stains, creating the most tragic scene under the moonlight.
Each clash of weapons was accompanied by the dull thud of breaking bones; each roar carried the dying howls of life slipping away.
The howling wind carried sand like ten thousand steel needles, piercing the leather tent with rustling noises.
Xiao Lingling’s Mandarin Duck Saber spun into a silver-white hurricane, the sparks from the clash of blades illuminating her tightly-biting lower lip, as rouge blurred by bloodstains turned into a sinister purple, “Yin Tianhan! Do you think ninety taels of silver can buy my husband’s life and mine? The guts of the Heroic Sakura Association cannot be measured in mere Copper Coins!”
She took an unconventional approach, hooking the crescent guard of her Mandarin Duck Saber around the adversary’s wrist. Yin Tianhan screamed and staggered backward, the black blood from his wound seeping into the woolen carpet, staining it with ominous mandalas.
Miao Menlong’s bowstring quivered, launching a Feathered Arrow that transformed into a fiery streak through the sky. Tie Wendie’s single eye blazed with a fierce light as his broken sword carved out an arc of “Flying Dragon in the Sky,” the Sword Qi severing the arrow into three pieces.
Before the shattered arrow feathers hit the ground, Shan Zhi’s plum blossom darts had already entwined Zhu Yulong’s wrist like a poisonous snake, and amidst the fluttering red silks, Ren Xiaoyan shouted fiercely, brandishing her blade, the “Twin Lotus Blooms” maneuver interlocking with her husband’s blade work, their offensive surging forward like the uncontainable floodwaters of the Yellow River.
The clash between Wu Zhong and Lu’er Wuliu raised a storm, causing the copper oil lamps within the tent to buzz violently.
The Kerchin Leader’s scimitar carried the prairie wind, sparking a shower of fire when it scraped against the iron palm.
“There’s no good among the people of the Central Plains!” Lu’er Wuliu suddenly abandoned his sword, the turquoise-studded scimitar shot towards Xiao Lingling’s throat like a black falcon.
Wu Zhong’s pupils contracted sharply, and he turned aside, colliding with his beloved wife just in time. The sound of bones shattering mingled with the tearing of cloth, and his forearm bent at an unnatural angle, yet somehow he caught the lethal blow.
Xiao Lingling’s Mandarin Duck Saber acted like a Spiritual Snake emerging from its nest, slicing open Lu’er Wuliu’s waist armor, revealing his pale spinal column.
The Kerchin Leader let out an enraged roar, beads of blood oozing through his fingers splattered onto Wu Zhong’s face, scorching hot like molten gold.
Nangong Quan took the opportunity to unleash a Great Vajra Palm, the gust from his palm flinging Miao Menlong into a pillar, sending wood chips flying as Yin Tianhan’s purple-black poisonous claw viciously gouged into the Divine Archer’s right eye, blood splattering as a partially tendoned eyeball rolled onto the ground.
Outside, the wind took on a cloyingly sweet scent, the extinguished candles plunging everyone into pitch-black darkness.
Yin Tianhan let out a sinister laugh like a night owl, as the poisonous mist from his Thousand Spider Poisonous Hand spread inside the tent, making the leather curtain sizzle with corrosion.
Xiao Lingling wielded the Mandarin Duck Saber to protect Wu Zhong, the sparks from the collision of the blade and hidden weapons cast a glow upon her as she looked at her husband, whose face was pale as paper: “Husband, today…” Before she finished speaking, Wu Zhong, using his intact left hand, struck with the iron palm, the Inner Strength of the Six Harmonies True Scripture turning into golden thunder, actually blasting a bowl-sized hole in Yin Tianhan’s chest. Purple-black venomous blood gushed out, staining the carpet an eerie ink color.
Yin Tianhan died with his eyes wide open, a raspy sound emanating from his throat, his ten purple-black fingernails deeply embedded into his own neck.
But before they could catch their breath, a dense sound of horse hooves came from outside. The Kerchin warriors, holding flaming torches, surged like a tide of red, the firelight illuminating their angry, twisted faces, and the scimitars beneath their sheepskin coats gleaming with cold light.
