"It might also be due to mental influence causing mutual slaughter." Xu Huo checked Pu Yu’s condition; she was similar to Yan Jiayu’s previous state, her main reason for unconsciousness was mental interference, "We’ll ask her when she wakes up later."

The two rested nearby, benefiting from Xu Huo’s spirit evolution; they could take off their helmets and eat something normally.

Yan Jiayu cooked a few packs of semi-prepared dishes, and as the aroma spread, Pu Yu woke up. She opened her eyes and stared at them, her expression somewhat dazed, as if unable to distinguish whether the scene before her was real or not.

"You’re awake? Are you hungry? Want some?" Yan Jiayu raised the pot.

Pu Yu reacted after a moment and then sat up straight, "You... when did we get separated?"

"Probably when we were wandering in the underground tunnels." Xu Huo said, "But the relic there was definitely fake. Did you find the remains?"

Pu Yu shook her head, "The relics are all fake. How can the things we see be real? Maybe my aunt’s remains have been swallowed by mutant plants."

"Don’t be sad, I’ll tell you some good news." Xu Huo took out the series of nameplates, "We found this when we fell into the crack in the passage. See if you recognize it."

Pu Yu’s spirit was lifted, and she hurriedly took it and searched. Quickly, he stopped and, touching a nameplate marked A.L. Edwards, said, "This is her... I actually found traces of her!"

The surprise came too suddenly; she couldn’t control herself and burst out laughing. After laughing, she started crying, her eyes mixing joy with grief and anger, "From now on, everything will be different..."

Yan Jiayu gave her a bowl of soup, "Will you be able to inherit the estate with this item when you go back?"

If her grandfather is really dying, and she risks the family fortune without much protection, she may not be able to smoothly inherit the huge assets. Moreover, those two Rank-A players who vanished had some strength and were from a Rank-A wormhole point; they shouldn’t have disappeared without any defense against interference.

"The estate inheritance is protected by the game government. As long as the name is officially changed, no one can take it away. Even if I die, the estate will be distributed according to my will," Pu Yu said.

"Then I wish you all the best." Xu Huo raised his bowl of soup.

The three clinked their bowls, ate their food, and prepared to ascend the Sky Pit. Pu Yu never mentioned the two players who came along from the beginning to the end.

Before going up, Pu Yu gifted Yan Jiayu a life-saving prop, "Before obtaining the inheritance, I can only give limited things. Miss Yan is about to go to a high-risk instance, so I present this prop to Miss Yan first. Mr. Xu trusts my word, and I’ll pay your reward once I return to the family."

"You’ve helped me as well; between friends, no need for courtesies." Xu Huo said, "Just go ahead."

Pu Yu smiled, "When the opportunity arises, both of you must come to my house as guests."

Above the Sky Pit, Yan Ping and the others were still waiting. Seeing them come out alive, they couldn’t help but breathe a sigh of relief. Although the ticket channel hadn’t opened yet, Pu Yu had to leave, and she used cross-district teleportation props to take them away.

Yan Jiayu’s body had mostly recovered, and Xu Huo planned to stay for two more days. He first used the "Inversion Ring" to teleport her to another district to avoid delaying her instance time due to the ticket channel not opening.

After everyone had left, he changed his resting place and took out the Divine Woman Vine to plant.

The relics left by the three Golden-Eyed Players were quite standard; as expected, they didn’t even have cross-district teleportation props, likely not having any outstanding props or devices, with average belongings.

However, while checking the items in the luggage compartment, he discovered a holographic recording of a delirious middle-aged man slumped in a chair, with several needle marks on his arm, muttering indistinctly.

After listening twice, Xu Huo finally figured out what was going on. The so-called distant relative was not Golden-Eyed Player’s relative, but that of the middle-aged man, and the player possessing the suspected super prop wasn’t a super player, just a Rank-A player, who got a good item by chance but was hunted down, fled to this moving district, and died here. Before dying, unwilling to accept his fate, he deliberately disposed of the item underground and informed his family, hoping a strong player would emerge from the family to retrieve it in the future.

Upon learning this, the middle-aged man wanted to retrieve the prop, but wasn’t strong enough, so he sought bounty hunters for help. But before setting out, news was somehow leaked, leading to interrogation.

From getting the information to selecting people to leave, Golden-Eyed Player prepared for at least three months, including collecting data about the moving district, initially accepting Xu Huo’s metal box bounty to get the box, later trying to recruit when he couldn’t seize it.

Golden-Eyed Player signed a binding contract with other bounty hunters to prevent internal discord during the process. The contract included eight people, with Golden-Eyed Player using the pretext of finding relative relics and offering high payment post-event to entice these bounty hunters to accompany him.

Of course, when meeting them, Xu Huo found only three remaining.

Regarding the super prop, the middle-aged man had limited information, only knowing it was acquired by chance by a distant relative, without knowing its name, use, or origin.

The only certainty was that it was a highly valuable super prop, causing many deaths in the middle-aged man’s family for this; the luggage compartment contained a drawing, made by Golden-Eyed Player based on the middle-aged man’s information, possibly depicting the prop or the box holding it. Based on these designs, he conducted numerous investigations, learning certain artifact makers liked using specific motifs for differentiation when creating spiritual items, combined with moving district information leading to his search for special containers.

Yet he hadn’t anticipated spending at least six months preparing and acting, only to have it intercepted halfway.

If the prop is crafted from primeval stone, it might be possible to store it in the prop bar like the "Angel’s Eye". However, Xu Huo obtained the "Angel’s Eye" through a small trap set by Dr. Wu, without facing much attack from the prop itself. Retrieving this from the underground river, he’ll wait for a suitable opportunity to open it.

At least not in a moving district environment.

The Divine Woman Vine grew rapidly, with vines expanding in thickness; the root system soon reached adult wrist thickness. Xu Huo had to replant it in a large box, organize the vine leaves, and place it back in the luggage compartment.

After confirming no omissions, the ticket channel opened, and he returned to Zone 011 using the return ticket.
