"Who are you? Why don’t you come out? I want to know who you really are, and why you’re being so elusive!" Ye Fan sounded very annoyed, as he could only use his consciousness to engage with the entities of this world. It seemed the hidden energy form in the shadows could definitely hear what he was thinking.

"I am a god, you can understand it this way, or you can choose not to believe. In the human worldview, humans consider themselves the mightiest, whereas the lifeforms in the universe are actually my rather failed creations. However... it is you so-called cultivators who truly created them, I merely created the foundations..." The voice continued, sounding like a woman, though Ye Fan couldn’t tell where it was coming from. He felt, however, that this voice might be coming from his own inner thoughts.

He was communing with this presence through his heart. Ye Fan shook his head and said, "The things you’re saying, I still can’t comprehend. You said humanity is your creation, then what kind of god are you? If you are just an ordinary god, what are your powers? Did you create the tribulation, or are you also passively enduring it?"

The woman continued to instill her thoughts into Ye Fan.

Ye Fan asked, "Can I see your form with my naked eyes or Spiritual Sense?"

"You can!" The voice abruptly stopped, and then Ye Fan truly "saw" a woman’s figure.

In your heart, you instinctively wish to consume other energy entities, hence you imagine me as a woman!"

Ye Fan seemed to understand something, and he replied, "So, you are without character, or even without attributes?"

"I do have attributes, but they’re not the kind that you understand. Ye Fan, your desire to possess is too strong. Once you became aware of my existence, your first impulse was to possess my energy, so your ideas about me are generated based on those thoughts in your mind..." the woman said.

Ye Fan resolutely dismissed the awareness being instilled into his mind, saying, "Even if I imagined you as a woman, it wasn’t of my own volition.
