Invincibility Begins with Mastery of Fist Techniques
Chapter 768 - 761: Mimicry True Realm
Chapter 768: Chapter 761: Mimicry True Realm
In a flash, nearly a month had passed.
Zhou Yuanjue had already purchased the "Rebirth’s Tendrils" structure and begun his in-depth research.
Perhaps because the secrecy level and strength of the Rebirth’s Tendrils were higher, this structure required even more Value Points than the previous Lotus Vein Structure. For this, he paid the steep price of a full 150,000 Value Points.
His recently replenished coffers of Value Points were instantly drained.
More importantly, with his Fourth-level Authority, he could see that some of the powerful structures beyond the First layer Transformation Boundary required an even more enormous amount of Value Points—some even reached into the millions.
For him, right now, this was an astronomical figure.
It seemed that after he was done with this structure, he would have to prioritize his plans for acquiring more Value Points.
During this month, his simulation of the Rebirth’s Tendrils was about to enter its final stage. Of course, he hadn’t spent the entire time in seclusion.
A week after the duel ended, he received an invitation from Dorobaku and met with him in the Safety Zone, officially establishing contact between them.
Meanwhile, the Red Scale Organization had also contacted him. As the current number one on the regional leaderboard, he was entitled to certain benefits. The organization promised an additional ten percent of their income as tribute for Zhou Yuanjue to remain in the Deep Blue Safety Zone temporarily, hoping he would continue to support the Red Scale Organization’s management and status within the zone.
For Zhou Yuanjue, who was in need of Value Points, there was naturally no reason to refuse such an offer.
On another front, members of the Silent Organization also contacted him in secret. However, Zhou Yuanjue didn’t know much about this organization and didn’t want to get dragged into too many disputes, so he declined their invitation to meet.
On this day, just as his simulation of the Rebirth’s Tendrils was reaching its final moments, Zhou Yuanjue was startled by a communication from his True Talisman.
It was another message from Dorobaku.
During this period, the guy had repeatedly requested another sparring match, but Zhou Yuanjue had refused each time, citing his seclusion as the reason.
This time, he assumed it was another request for a match from Dorobaku and was about to refuse, but then he saw that Dorobaku’s message wasn’t about sparring.
"A spot for the Mimicry True Realm. Interested?"
Dorobaku’s message read.
"Mimicry True Realm..."
Zhou Yuanjue frowned slightly. He seemed to have heard the term before, but he wasn’t clear on its specific meaning.
He used his True Talisman’s database function to search for the term, hoping to find related information, but found that access to even the most basic data cost over five thousand Value Points.
’Forget it. I’ll just meet him and ask in person.’

「An hour later.」
A private room in a tavern within the Deep Blue Safety Zone.
"Your drinks have arrived. Please enjoy."
A voice full of electronic tones rang out in the private room as a square, metallic, lumpy-looking automated service robot delivered two drinks to the pair.
Zhou Yuanjue fell into deep thought as he stared at the glass in front of him. It was filled with an unidentified, dark green liquid, teeming with unknown impurities and bubbling viscously.
’So, why was this thing named "Brilliant Star System"?’
He picked up the glass briefly and sniffed the overpowering odor wafting from it. Then, impassively, Zhou Yuanjue set it back down. He watched Dorobaku, whose form was like a semi-transparent aerogel, down the yellowish-brown, unidentified liquid in his own glass—the one named "Sea of Time"—in a single gulp. With a calm expression, he asked, "When an Elemental Life’s body is simplified to the point of being just a single Life Heart Core, does it still retain a sense of taste?"
"Of course, my friend. How could you even think such a thing? Since we are born as living beings, we naturally need other desires besides the simple ’lust for power’."
"Much of the time, desire doesn’t imply inferiority. Without the constant stimulation of desire, we would likely forget many important things. Imperfection, in fact, is also a manifestation of perfection."
Dorobaku said with a laugh, though the expression on his aerogel face wasn’t very distinct.
"By the way, it’s really hard to get a meeting with you. What have you been up to this past month? Are you trying to break through the First layer Transformation Boundary? If you don’t mind me asking, what’s your success rate with the Forging Technique in its natural state right now?"
Dorobaku asked curiously.
"A success rate of about one in forty."
Zhou Yuanjue said.
"Damn it, you really are stronger than me. My current success rate is only one in sixty. You bastard, not only are you stronger than me, but your Forging Technique proficiency is higher too. How annoying."
"But there’s one thing where I’m definitely better than you."
Dorobaku said.
"Oh? And what might that be?"
Zhou Yuanjue asked coolly.
"Birth time."
"Let me preface this by saying I have no intention of looking down on life forms from Low level Civilizations. However, the conditions in Low level Civilizations are indeed much worse than in the True Realm. I’m guessing that for you to have reached your current level in a Low level Civilization, you can’t be that young, right?"
"Fifty years? Or sixty?"
"Heh heh, my birth time is only a mere twenty-eight years."
Dorobaku said with a smile.
"Sorry, but if we’re calculating using the universal standard of time, my birth time should be slightly shorter than yours."
Zhou Yuanjue said coolly.
"I don’t believe you."
"Believe it or not."
"Show me proof."
"That’s up to you to believe."
"I just don’t believe you."
Zhou Yuanjue looked at the stubbornly defiant expression on Dorobaku’s face and remained silent.
"Alright, let’s get back to the Mimicry True Realm."
Zhou Yuanjue said, exasperated.
"Okay, that’s an excellent idea."
Dorobaku nodded in agreement.
"I don’t know much about the Mimicry True Realm. What can you tell me?"
Zhou Yuanjue asked.
"The Mimicry True Realm is actually quite simple. The Top 100 Historical Rankings—I assume you’ve tried that, right?"
Dorobaku asked.
Zhou Yuanjue nodded.
"The phantoms of the powerful individuals on the Top 100 Historical Rankings are created within the Dream Realm’s system. But in truth, the Primordial Star Organization isn’t limited to creating such phantoms in the Dream Realm—they can do it in reality as well."
"The so-called Mimicry True Realm is related to this. You can think of it as a randomly appearing ’bonus,’ a vast, mimicked, physical landscape composed of some kind of energy that temporarily manifests within the Chaotic Paradise."
"Inside, there might be phantoms of True Beasts, phantoms of powerful individuals, or perhaps some other strange and bizarre things. The common denominator is that the Mimicry True Realm is often filled with a great many different kinds of resources."
Dorobaku said.
