Chapter 189: Profit
"Okay, but I have no idea of his assets... maybe Tang will know." Juliana closed her eyes, spreading her mental energy all over the villa, then opened her eyes.
"He will be here in a moment." She said smoothly.
Kelly blinked, genuinely surprised: "Are your powers already coming back?"
"Nah, my primary powers are still completely gone due to my sealed physique, but I can still exert about 10% of my mental abilities." Juliana said, picking up her veggies again and taking a crunchy bite.
"Not bad at all." Kelly nodded slowly, impressed.
"What about you? When you Awakened two days ago, those terrifying chains attacked us the moment we tried to get close." Juliana stared straight at her, her eyes filled with residual worry.
"It’s really not that serious." Kelly opened her palm, and a surge of deep red spirit energy materialized above her skin, rapidly condensing until it took the exact shape of a single, miniature chain.
"I don’t fully understand what this energy is yet, but I can control it at will... I am still a bit confused about my actual powers." She said, clenching her fist as the energy chain instantly vanished into thin air.
"Take it one step at a time. Sara said that." Juliana translated Sara’s thoughts with a quick smile.
Kelly nodded with a warm smile and turned her attention back to her plate.

In less than five minutes, Tang entered the dining room and offered them a crisp, respectful bow: "You called for me, Matriarchs."
"Matriarchs?"
The three wives looked up at him, then turned to look at one another, bursting into light, amused chuckles:
"Please, don’t call us Matriarchs just yet! It makes us sound like old grandmothers." Juliana said with a bright smile.
"Oh?" Tang was momentarily rendered speechless, but quickly adjusted his posture, nodding his head: "I understand."
"Alright, we called you here to ask if you happen to know the exact details of our Husband’s corporate assets." Kelly started, leaning forward against the table.
"I don’t know if there are more hidden holdings, but I am aware of a few major ones. The Lord briefly mentioned them to me, but I don’t currently possess any physical contracts or management files related to those assets." Tang answered dutifully.
"The official contracts and deed files should logically be with him." Juliana said, gently setting her spoon down on her plate.
"I don’t think that’s the case, Mrs. Juliana... I believe the Lord simply hasn’t officially stepped in to take physical ownership yet. The assets are... well, just running on autopilot out there."
"...?!"
The three women blinked in sheer disbelief, sitting up straight: "What on earth?! No way... He must be far too busy with dungeons to personally visit those properties. Tell us the names of these places right now!"
"The largest among them is the Grand Hospital, one of the premier medical institutions in all of Vaeloria. They maintain active branch facilities across all five major cities, and their primary headquarters is situated right here in Silverspire. The other holdings I know of are the Ten Spirit Mines located north of the city, positioned right along the outskirts." Tang revealed, before adding carefully:
"I don’t know if there are more beyond those."
Kelly slowly nodded her head, turning her sharp gaze to Juliana: "We need his official signature to assert control over those managers and executives... How should we go about getting them?"
"Well, we could simply ask him directly, or attempt to use our own authority as his wives, but the corporate board members in those companies won’t easily yield without proof." Kelly answered her own question, her business acumen taking over.
"So what should our first move be?" Juliana asked, resting her jaw on her palm while staring at Kelly with an eager smile.
"Well, first, we approach Asher—"
"Apologies for interrupting."
All four of them turned toward the dining room doorway, staring at Viper as she strode inside, bringing her steps to a halt right beside Tang.
"As the head of your security detail, I cannot permit any of you to leave the estate grounds."
"What?"
"....?!"
"Huh?"
The three wives were completely stunned, staring at her with immediate frowns.
"I am truly sorry, but widespread chaos is breaking out across the city at this very moment." Viper stated flatly.
"Chaos? What are you talking about?" Juliana asked, instantly getting to her feet.
"I just received emergency intel from my subordinates stationed in the lower district. A massive Monster Tide will reach the city perimeter in two days at most. We effectively only have today and tomorrow before impact." Viper explained, her expression dead serious.
"A Monster Tide? But our husband mentioned earlier that it wouldn’t arrive for seven days." Juliana muttered, visibly lost.
"That was the initial tactical report, but this afternoon, the monsters underwent a sudden, drastic energy mutation, advancing an entire rank across the board. Right now, the incoming tide contains well over one hundred SSS-RANK Monsters." She answered gravely.
"How do you know so much detailed intelligence when you haven’t even stepped foot outside this villa today?" Kelly asked, casually reaching over to pick up a fresh apple from the fruit bowl.
"I maintain well-placed informants within the major guilds." Viper offered a simple, sharp reply.
Kelly nodded her head in understanding, taking a crisp bite of the apple before looking over at Tang:
"Tang, send immediate word to the executive board at the Grand Hospital. Order them to summon every single member of their medical staff—no one is permitted to evacuate the city." Kelly commanded.
"What?!"
Both Tang and Viper were utterly stunned by the cold directive.
"Mrs. Kelly, a catastrophic Monster Tide is barreling directly toward the city walls, and you want the medical personnel to stay behind in the danger zone?! Isn’t that wildly dangerous?!" Viper asked, staring in disbelief at the woman who calmly took another slow bite of her apple, chewing thoughtfully.
Everyone in the room remained frozen in dead silence until she swallowed:
"I only think about strategic profit, and the long-term survival of our frontline soldiers."
"Huh?"
"....?"
They were all left completely dumbfounded by her cold, unbothered reply.
