​Asher held the glowing potion forward and slowly began advancing step by step toward Kelly.

​One of the largest crimson chains shot straight toward his chest at blinding speed, but to the utter shock of both wives watching from behind, the chain abruptly halted less than an inch from the glass vial. It hovered in place, slowly swirling around the shimmering vessel as if analyzing and scanning the magical composition of the golden substance. After two tense seconds, the chain slowly retreated, and all one hundred crimson chains parted, clearing a direct, open path straight to Asher.
