’What the hell?!! With his words, I haven’t even started on my path of strength... How strong are those things in such ranks?’ He thought grimly. Feeling a sudden, sharp sting on his wrist, he looked down at his arm just in time to see the glowing red skull tattoo dissolve and fade completely from his skin.

"When I descend, that Mark will reappear. You can’t hide from me, human; enjoy the days you have," Darion stated coldly, his imposing ethereal form disintegrating into particles of dark energy until he faded away entirely into the void.

"I heard you already!!" Asher snapped at him, then pointed a finger at Darion’s face:

"Make sure you’re stronger than this!! So I can wipe the floor with your face!!"

’Can I actually do that?’ He thought to himself.

"You are an interesting human... I can’t wait to hear you scream." Darion muttered his last words, and vanished completely, leaving behind an eerie silence in the shattered ruins of the dungeon hall.

[DING!]

[Congratulations on clearing an SSS-RANK Dungeon.]

[Gained 100 SSS-RANK Evolution stones.]

[Gained a Divine-Tier Armor complete set.]

[Gained five Divine-Tier Skill Books.]

[Gained Ten Heaven-Tier Health Potions, and Spirit energy restoration potions.]

"Huh? The Awakened System actually gave me so many things."

Asher was stunned; when he defeated the Priestess, he didn’t gain so many things. The sheer density of high-tier loot floating before him was enough to fund a major guild’s military budget for a decade.

If he invests all these in his wives, what will he get? The system flashed through his mind, promising an absurd return on investment.

{DING!!}

"Huh?"

He turned to his own system, stunned:

{Congratulations Master for defeating a God’s Chosen.}

{Gained Aether Stone.}

{Gained a Title: Dungeon Hunter.}

{Congratulations, Master gained two Random Abilities from the world Chosen.}

"Wait!! Two?!!" Asher was stunned.

{Gained a New skill: God’s Eye.}

The next moment:

"Ahhhhh!!!"

Asher screamed in pain, dropping to his knees and holding his right wrist with gritted teeth:

"What the hell is happening?!!" He screamed, staring at his palm as the skin split open at the center, and a blood-red eye appeared with a stark white pupil, staring directly back at him.

"What the?!!" Asher was stunned, the agonizing burning pain vanishing as fast as it had appeared.

{God’s Eye: Master can Absorb All Magical Attacks below his rank (Divine-Tier skills below), turning it into his own. No Cooldown. Supreme-Tier Skill. No energy needed.}

"Supreme-Tier Skill?!" Asher was shocked.

From the start of their world, even Divine-Tier skills had rarely been seen or used. Even his strongest abilities were all Divine-Tier, but this eye was actually a Supreme-Tier Skill. Not only that, its ability was crazily broken and powerful.

"There are only skills below Divine-Tier in my whole world. Having the ability to absorb such skills, I am technically immune to magical attacks," Asher muttered, staring at the hand in sheer disbelief.

"Tempest doesn’t have any good attack skills, only Apex Screech... Not suitable to test this out." He stood up to his feet as shadow rose from the ground, forming ten of his loyal knights. Luckily, one possessed explosion fire.

"You, attack me with your ability."

The Knight obeyed without hesitation, raising one armored hand into the air. A compressed fireball materialised instantly and shot directly towards Asher.

"Here it goes!"

He stretched his palm towards the fireball, and the red eye on his palm opened wide, smoothly drawing in the entire blast and absorbing it without leaving a singe mark on his skin.

"What is this feeling?" He stared at the eye on his palm after absorbing the fireball:

"The description says I can make what I absorb my own, but I didn’t feel anything. Is it because I already have this skill?" He stretched his palm back towards the Knight, and the absorbed fireball shot right back out with double the volatility, smashing right into the summon and turning it instantly into ash.

’I see... When I attacked just now, I didn’t use my own explosion fire, but instead, I sent out the exact attack I absorbed... So that is what the description meant. I can’t copy skills permanently; I can just absorb an incoming attack and send it back with the same intensity.’ He looked at his palm, and with a single thought, the eye closed and vanished beneath his skin, his palm returning completely to normal:

’This Ability is simply too overpowered.’ He clenched his fist tightly, a wide smile forming on his face.

"One of his abilities is already this insane, what about the second?"

{Congratulations! Master gained a new skill.}

{Golden Blood: Passive Ability. All of Master’s blood has been modified. As long as Master has blood in his body, he can continuously heal any injuries. Divine-Tier, no Cooldown, no energy needed.}

{Healing speed has been increased by 1,000%.}

"I’m confused here. Are all his abilities this crazy? It’s so bad I couldn’t get that stone manipulation skill he used, or the hand controlling puppet or whatever it’s called. But these two abilities are still insanely good!" He muttered, but the rewards weren’t done yet.

{Congratulations on surviving against a God’s chosen. Gained a super rare gift from the System.}

{Cloak Of Shadows: Supreme Mythic-Tier Artifact.}

{When Equipped, completely immune to all Debuffs, and can pass through any Physical objects, Illusions, sealing spells, Barriers, and Traps. Defense increases by 2,000,000. [Can’t be invested.].}

"The fuck!!! System!! You are the best!!" Asher exclaimed, his eyes wide open in disbelief.

"This cloak is even more powerful than the Spectral boots," he added, staring at the pitch-black, void-like cloak hovering before him, radiating an aura of absolute dominance.

The rewards still weren’t done.

{Congratulations! Master’s current energy has reached the height to advance to Ex-Rank.}

{Congratulations! Master gained a super rare gift.}

{Master gained Soul Cleansing potion. X1.}

".....?!!!"

Asher instantly froze in place, his breath catching in his throat as he stared at the system screen in pure, unadulterated shock.

"Isn’t that my wives’ cure?"
