Leaving behind the prosperity and bustle of Tianyu Imperial City, Chen Chuan headed west.

He sped toward the direction of the place hailed as the martial arts Holy Land of the Desolate Heaven Immortal Domain.

Mountains and rivers receded beneath his feet like a chessboard. His concern for Ji Siyu and his urgency to find the truth sustained him through ten full days of travel.

On the morning of the eleventh day, as the first ray of dawn pierced through the clouds, an indescribably majestic mountain range suddenly burst into Chen Chuan’s view.

That was the Taiyi Holy Land!

In the distance, countless massive peaks rose from the earth like the spines of giant dragons, piercing straight into the clouds.

The mountains were not made of ordinary earth and stone; instead, they possessed a luster as warm as jade yet as cold as metal, as if ancient deities had forged them from melted stars with supreme power.

Among the peaks, billions of rays of light swirled, and dense purple Qi rose incessantly, forming a canopy that covered the boundless territory.

A thousand-foot waterfall hung like the Milky Way falling from the sky. Even from a great distance, one could faintly feel the soul-shaking power of its thunderous roar.

Within the swirling mist, phantoms of massive spiritual birds and exotic beasts occasionally streaked past, emitting heart-palpitating Auras.

Above the mountains and within the void, countless floating islands and palaces were faintly visible, with runes flickering and Dao Principles descending like the dwellings of immortals and gods.

With just a single glance from afar, Chen Chuan felt his own insignificance.

Compared to this Immortal Force that had been passed down for over a hundred thousand years, the so-called top Sects on the Sacred Martial Continent were as insignificant as rural thatched huts.

He took a deep breath, suppressed the shock in his heart, and accelerated toward the mountain gate where a massive white jade archway stood.

Approaching the mountain gate, the majestic pressure became almost tangible.

Upon the archway, the two characters "Taiyi" were written in a powerful, flowing script, each stroke seemingly containing the ultimate principles of heaven and earth.

"Halt! Who dares to trespass into the Taiyi Holy Land?"

Two young figures dressed in the moon-white robes of Holy Land Disciples flashed and blocked Chen Chuan’s path.

Their Auras were steady and their gazes sharp; their cultivation had impressively reached the Third Level of the Void Breaking Realm.

Existences of this level would be considered masters in the outside world, yet here they were merely gate-keeping Disciples.

Chen Chuan stopped and cupped his hands neither humbly nor arrogantly, saying, "Greetings, Senior Brothers. I am Chen Chuan, and I have come with a recommendation token, seeking to join the Holy Land."

As he spoke, he handed over the Token given by Gu Yue, which was neither metal nor jade and was engraved with Taiyi cloud patterns.

One of the Disciples, who had a cold expression, took the Token, examined it carefully, and then looked Chen Chuan up and down.

In particular, when he sensed that Chen Chuan’s cultivation was only at the Second Level of the Transcendence Realm, a flicker of hard-to-detect contempt flashed in his eyes.

However, his tone remained relatively calm: "The recommendation token is valid. Follow me to register."

Chen Chuan thanked him and followed the Disciple through the massive white jade archway.

The moment he stepped through the mountain gate and officially entered the territory of the Taiyi Holy Land, a low but clear sneer from the other gate-keeping Disciple drifted from behind him:

"Hmph, another trash who got in through connections. A mere Second Level of the Transcendence Realm—even if he enters the Holy Land and absorbs this dense Spiritual Qi, how much progress can he possibly make? Rotten wood cannot be carved."

"Shh, keep your voice down. He has his ways, after all; we should just do our duty. But... hehe, you’re telling the truth."

The voices were soft, but with Chen Chuan’s hearing, he heard them clearly.

His pace didn’t falter in the slightest, nor did his expression change, as if he hadn’t heard a thing.

A frog in a well cannot speak of the sea, and a summer insect cannot speak of ice; such shallow disdain didn’t even count as a speck of dust on the path he was determined to follow to find Ji Siyu.

Following the Disciple to a side hall near the mountain gate, Chen Chuan completed his identity registration.

Afterward, he received a set of moon-white robes representing an Outer Sect Disciple, an identity jade Token, and a basic Sect manual.

At this point, Chen Chuan officially became an ordinary Outer Sect Disciple of the Taiyi Holy Land.

Subsequently, he was led to the residential area for Outer Sect Disciples.

This was a continuous stretch of houses built in a valley where the Spiritual Qi was relatively dense.

Though not as astonishing as the core area, it was still far superior to ordinary blessed lands in the outside world.

He was assigned to an independent courtyard containing three Quiet Chambers side-by-side, meaning he would have two roommates.

Pushing open the courtyard gate, he saw two people standing inside, seemingly having heard the commotion and waiting for him.

One was stout with a friendly smile on his face, his eyes narrowed into slits.

The other was tall and thin with an ordinary face, but his eyes were quite lively.

Seeing Chen Chuan, the fat one immediately stepped forward enthusiastically and laughed:

"Haha, a new Junior Brother has arrived! Welcome, welcome."

"My name is Wang Lan, and this is Yang Shu. We live in the other two Quiet Chambers. From now on, we’re neighbors."

The thin one, Yang Shu, also smiled and nodded in greeting, his attitude friendly.

Seeing their kind attitude, Chen Chuan felt a slight sense of relief and cupped his fists in return: "I am Chen Chuan. As a newcomer, I ask for your guidance in the future, Senior Brothers."

"Easy to say, easy to say!" Wang Lan patted his chest, looking quite generous. "It’s not easy for us Outer Sect Disciples; we should look out for each other. Junior Brother Chen, if there’s anything you don’t understand in the future, just ask us."

Yang Shu added, "Exactly. I wonder what Realm Junior Brother Chen’s cultivation has reached? So we can have an idea."

Chen Chuan told them truthfully, "I’m ashamed to say, I am currently only at the Second Level of the Transcendence Realm."

"Second Level of the Transcendence Realm?"

Wang Lan and Yang Shu exclaimed almost simultaneously. They exchanged a glance, both seeing deep surprise in each other’s eyes.
