The eastern mountains were far more dangerous than the forest.

Aether climbed steadily.

A deep rumble suddenly echoed through the valley.

Aether stopped.

A massive creature emerged from behind the rocks.

It looked like a combination of a lion and a reptile, with thick black scales covering its body and six powerful legs supporting its enormous frame.

Its mouth opened.

Rows of sharp teeth appeared.

The creature roared.

Blackfang growled.

Ironhide raised its fists.
