Infinite Mana: I Am The Absolute Supreme
Chapter 167: Returning to the city
The two Voidlords stared at the young man standing before them.
For several seconds, neither of them understood what was happening. The sudden arrival of an unknown human had caught them completely off guard, but what truly disturbed them was the calm expression on his face. There was no hesitation, no fear, and not even the slightest trace of killing intent. Victor looked at them as though he had merely arrived at his destination.
"You must be the two Voidlords from the northern territory," Victor repeated calmly. "Thank you for staying together. It saves me a lot of travel time."
The six eyes of the multi-limbed Overlord narrowed instantly, while the bone lich’s dark flames flickered violently within its hollow eye sockets. Both of them could sense that Victor was powerful, but neither could accurately determine the depth of his strength. Before they could activate their domains or even properly prepare for battle, Victor simply raised one hand.
"Disintegration."
Boom!
The surrounding space trembled violently.
There was no earth-shattering clash, no prolonged exchange of attacks, and no opportunity for either Voidlord to display their terrifying abilities. The laws surrounding Victor’s palm suddenly twisted, and an invisible wave of primordial disintegration swept across the battlefield.
The two Voidlords froze.
Their immense bodies began collapsing at the level of their fundamental existence. Their domains shattered before they could fully spread, their defensive treasures lost their brilliance, and their powerful abyssal energies were completely erased by the terrifying force.
The multi-limbed voidlord’s six eyes widened in disbelief.
"How..."
That was the only word it managed to utter.
The next instant, both Voidlords vanished from existence.
Silence descended upon the entire Howling Abyss Trench.
Millions of warriors from the universal alliance had witnessed the entire scene. The fleets that had been firing continuously suddenly stopped, while countless abyssal creatures stood motionless in the void.
Nobody had expected such an ending.
Two Voidlords had appeared in the northern territory for countless years. Their names alone were enough to make ordinary universal factions tremble, yet they had just been erased before they could even understand what was happening.
Victor slowly lowered his hand.
"Too weak."
He glanced toward the countless abyssal forces occupying the trench. The two Voidlords had been guarding this territory, but they were far from the only threat. Millions of abyssals were scattered throughout the battlefield, ranging from Nebula Realm warriors to terrifying Quasar Realm combatants.
Victor’s eyes brightened.
His Chaos Domain suddenly expanded.
Boom!
A terrifying pressure instantly swept across the battlefield.
Millions of miles of space were swallowed by a strange combination of violet chaos energy and dark blue elemental currents. Mountains, fortresses, spaceships, abyssal armies, and universal warriors were all enveloped within Victor’s domain.
The entire battlefield became unnaturally quiet.
Every creature inside the domain felt an instinctive tremor deep within its soul.
Victor stood calmly at the center.
Then he clenched his fist.
"Disintegration."
Boom!
The Chaos Domain erupted.
There was no need for Victor to individually target the abyssals. Every abyssal creature within the enormous domain was instantly marked by the primordial disintegration force. Their defensive abilities collapsed one after another, and their abyssal energy was completely erased.
The terrifying battlefield that had once contained countless monsters became empty within moments.
The universal warriors watched in stunned silence.
Some stared at Victor with reverence.
Some looked at him with curiosity.
Others looked at him with fear.
For countless years, this battlefield had been a place where powerful warriors struggled desperately for survival. Yet the young human had transformed it into something completely different.
To Victor, it was simply a hunting ground.
Victor smiled faintly.
"Fifteen trillion."
He looked toward the distant battlefield.
"Not bad."
Without wasting another second, Victor disappeared.
The universal warriors finally regained their senses after his departure. Some commanders immediately began issuing orders, while others simply continued staring at the empty battlefield.
News of what had happened spread throughout the Core Sector at an astonishing speed.
The human named Mr. Walker had killed Veyrath.
Then he had traveled to the northern territory and instantly eliminated two Voidlords.
And instead of retreating after accomplishing such an unbelievable feat, he had continued hunting.
One location after another.
One battlefield after another.
Everywhere Victor appeared, the abyssals suffered catastrophic losses.
A group of high-grade Nebula Realm abyssals would disappear.
Then an entire Black Hole Realm army would vanish.
Later, even Quasar Realm abyssals began falling under his attacks.
Victor did not distinguish between armies, ranks, or territories. Wherever the map showed a large concentration of abyssals, he went there.
He became an absolute menace to the abyssal forces.
Meanwhile, deep within the dark hall, the mysterious abyssal powerhouse sat upon his ancient throne.
A gigantic projection floated before him.
It displayed Victor’s movements across the battlefield.
The expression on his face became increasingly grim.
At first, he had not been particularly concerned.
A single human had appeared in the Core Sector and killed Veyrath. Although surprising, it was not enough to make him panic. Powerful prodigies appeared in the universe from time to time.
But this human was different.
He was not merely defeating abyssals.
He was hunting them.
And the speed at which he moved was terrifying.
"Impossible."
His fingers slowly tightened around the armrest of his throne.
"He is moving between battlefields faster than our scouts can report his location."
The projection changed.
Another battlefield disappeared beneath Victor’s Chaos Domain.
Millions of abyssals vanished.
Another scene appeared.
A group of Quasar Realm abyssals attempted to escape.
Victor appeared above them.
A moment later, they were gone.
The abyssal ruler’s expression became darker.
"Damn it."
He stood from his throne.
"If he continues like this, he will arrive here in less than two days."
His eyes shifted toward the enormous blood ritual occupying the center of the hall.
Countless ancient formations were connected to the ritual, drawing energy from the surrounding universe. At the center was an enormous crimson vortex that continuously absorbed vast amounts of energy.
"The ritual still needs nearly a month."
His expression turned ruthless.
"We cannot wait that long."
He looked toward the ancient formation.
"Accelerate it."
The surrounding abyssal servants immediately lowered their heads.
"But Lord, forcing the ritual to accelerate could destabilize the entire formation."
"I know."
The ruler’s eyes flashed coldly.
"Do it anyway."
Meanwhile, Victor continued his rampage.
One day passed.
During that single day, countless abyssal forces disappeared from the Core Sector.
When Victor finally stopped, he stood silently above a distant region of space and opened his status interface.
[Current Evolution Points: 500,000,000,000,000+]
Victor stared at the number.
"More than five hundred trillion."
A satisfied smile appeared on his face.
He had accumulated enough Evolution Points to attempt the next evolution of his Eternal Body but not the 9th level though.
"I should upgrade first."
Victor glanced toward the distant battlefield.
There were still countless abyssals fighting across the Core Sector, but he had no reason to continue hunting at this moment.
His body needed to become stronger.
His figure disappeared.
The next instant, Victor appeared outside the massive city where he had been staying.
However, something immediately caught his attention.
A gigantic projection covered the sky above the city.
The projection displayed scenes from the battlefield.
Victor’s battles.
His destruction of Veyrath.
The instant elimination of the two Voidlords.
His Chaos Domain sweeping across millions of miles.
Countless citizens and warriors stood beneath the projection, watching silently.
The entire city had already learned about him.
Some looked at him with admiration.
Others looked at him with fear.
There were also factions whose expressions were completely different.
A few powerful representatives exchanged cold glances.
"The human race has produced another terrifying prodigy."
"If he continues growing at this speed, he could become a serious threat."
"We should deal with him before he becomes truly powerful."
Victor ignored all of them.
He slowly approached the enormous city gate.
Two guards immediately noticed him.
Their expressions changed.
The first guard was a demon with dark crimson skin and two curved horns. The moment he recognized Victor, his eyes widened.
The demon immediately dropped to one knee.
"Your Highness, welcome back. Congratulations on your glorious victories. It is an honor to see you again."
Victor raised an eyebrow.
He had not expected such a reaction.
Still, he did not particularly dislike the demon race. His second senior sister belonged to that race, and his relationship with her had naturally influenced his perception of demons.
As for the conflict between the demon race and the cosmic human race, Victor had never considered himself part of that struggle.
He looked at the kneeling guard.
"You are not bad. What is your name?"
The demon’s face immediately lit up.
"Your Highness, my name is Grim."
Victor nodded.
He casually took out a small pill.
"Take this."
Whoosh!
The pill flew into Grim’s hand.
Grim stared at it in confusion.
"What is this?"
"It is made from a diluted form of Universal Essence," Victor replied casually. "It should be enough to help you to reach blackhole realm."
Grim’s entire body trembled.
He had never imagined that a single act of respect would earn him such an extraordinary reward.
"Thank you, Your Highness!"
Victor simply nodded.
"Alright. I am entering."
He walked through the city gate without another word.
The moment Victor’s figure disappeared into the distance, Grim immediately swallowed the pill.
He did not even dare to wait.
Boom!
An enormous surge of energy erupted from his body.
The surrounding space trembled as his cultivation began rising rapidly.
Nebula Realm.
Peak Nebula Realm.
Black Hole Realm!
Grim’s aura finally stabilized at the Black Hole Realm.
The other guard stood completely frozen.
He stared at Grim.
Then he stared at the direction where Victor had disappeared.
A moment later, his face turned pale with regret.
He had spent the entire time standing beside Victor without saying anything.
He had even looked at Grim with disdain when the demon began flattering the terrifying powerhouse.
Now he finally understood.
This was not ordinary flattery.
This was an opportunity.
The alien guard could only stare at the back of Victor’s disappearing figure.
He had finally learned the most valuable lesson of his life.
In front of an absolute powerhouse, knowing how to recognize an opportunity could change one’s destiny.
