Infinite Mana: I Am The Absolute Supreme

Chapter 163: Entered the core of the battlefield

Victor took a step forward and instantly vanished inside the space.

People were astonished again, those who were still keeping an eye on him from afar through their long-range arrays and talismans.

"He can use teleportation? Damn!"

Scouts from various factions gaped at the vacant air where the young human had stood just a breath ago. They rubbed their eyes, checking their optical arrays, but the energy signature was completely gone, leaving only the desolate, glassed craters behind.

Victor appeared far deeper into the universal battlefield.

As soon as he appeared there, thick bloodlust attacked his body along with a pungent odor of scorched flesh and corrosive Abyssal discharge.

"The battle intent, killing intent, and bloodlust are too thick here," Victor thought as he swept his gaze across the horizon.

The scene was too chaotic.

Everywhere someone or some people were fighting some Abyssals at different places. Earth-shattering explosions tore through the landscape, cosmic spells detonated in bright flashes of blinding light, and massive, corrupted beasts clashed with armored warriors from a hundred different alien races.

Battle sounds were everywhere. The air vibrated with the screeching of dying vanguard beasts, the rhythmic thunder of heavy artillery, and the bellowing war cries of battle-hardened mercenaries.

"A human? The meat of humans is the tastiest among all these ants," a Nebula rank Abyssal licked its monstrous, black-scaled lips, its eight glowing eyes locking onto Victor.

Boom!

It threw away its opponent, a towering beastman covered in bloody armor, and rushed toward Victor like a dark meteor, its razor-sharp claws tearing through the ambient atmosphere.

Victor felt the incoming vile aura. He could have tried to fight with all his power, but he was not in a mood to do that.

"Arch demon transformation," he immediately used the transformation, and the next moment, Victor’s aura completely vanished from the Abyssal’s perception.

The beast could still feel Victor was a Sovereign from a microsecond ago, but now suddenly it couldn’t feel a single thing. Victor was standing there, but it was as if he was not real, a phantom existing outside the laws of the universe.

"What is going..."

Before it could finish its thought, Victor extended his right hand toward the rushing monster.

"Space collapse," he muttered softly.

He had countless ways to kill, but he preferred the most efficient way most of the time. Today, however, he wanted to show off. He wanted to attract more attention. He wanted the Abyssals to come to him on their own accord, saving him the tedious effort of hunting them down across millions of miles.

Boom!

Instantly, the Nebula rank Abyssal burst into a fine black blood mist and scattered away, its soul and physical form crushed down to the atomic level before it could even process pain.

"What..." Many people stopped in mid-battle, turning their heads in sheer disbelief.

Someone had just killed an Abyssal so violently, and it was a Nebula rank Abyssal at that. A powerhouse capable of flattening entire mountain ranges had been turned into red ink by a casual flick of a human hand.

Deep within the Abyssal core base, a heavily armored scout rushed into the dark bio-organic hall.

"Void Lord, that human is now at the core region. He killed a Nebula level Abyssal the moment he arrived. What is your order?" a Black Hole realm commander asked, bowing low before the throne of dark fire.

"Hehehe. Go and hunt that bastard. I want to devour his meat and bone. Take nine commanders with you. I want him dead. You hear me? I want him dead," Malakor was full on rage, his black flames surging so violently that the surrounding organic walls melted into green sludge.

"As you wish," the commander left, taking nine other Black Hole realm powerhouses with him, tearing open a massive spatial rift directly toward the frontlines.

Meanwhile, Victor looked around at the vast expanse of the Core sector. The situation was not looking good for the universal forces.

The main fighters holding the line were the Nebula rank beings, barely clinging to their positions through sheer desperation and defensive arrays. As for the Black Hole realm beings on both sides, they were keeping each other in check without directly attacking, fully aware that a full-scale clash between their tier would tear the regional space to shreds.

So Victor snapped his finger. Instantly, countless transparent bubbles made from Chaos and Water elements combined appeared at different strategic places across the battlefield. They floated serenely above the fighting legions, shimmering with a strange, iridescent light that defied the surrounding darkness.

Some saw this but couldn’t tell what this terrifying man wanted to do.

Then a single plasma ray shot through his finger and instantly the plasma started reflecting through those bubbles. The single beam split, multiplied, and bounced back and forth at impossible speeds, instantly raining down on the Abyssals within a moment.

It was shooting the vital organs of the Abyssals as if those purple rays had their own consciousness and they knew exactly where to hit to kill them instantly. Core after core shattered, heads exploded, and dark hearts were incinerated in an instant.

And it was just the beginning of the massacre. The rays kept getting denser as they were being reflected more and more through the floating chaotic spheres, turning the entire region into a blinding web of absolute destruction.

"Nooooooo!" suddenly a collective roar came out from the Abyssal vanguard.

The Nebula rank Abyssals were already horrified. They were now frantically trying to shake off their opponents and run away from the bouncing death rays, but the universal forces already understood a supreme being had entered the battlefield to aid them, and they knew their roles perfectly.

"Hahaha! Where are you going? Let us dance, you bastards!" a burly Dragoin roared with laughter, his golden scales dripping with dark blood.

He grabbed his opponent’s arm with a vice-like grip, pinning the screaming Abyssal in place and waiting for the purple rays to come and pierce it through the skull.

Roar!

The Abyssals were being slaughtered like chickens on a butcher block, their massive formations breaking apart under the relentless, automated laser grid.

Suddenly, the space above the central battlefield distorted violently, and ten immensely powerful beings came out. They were clearly ten top-tier commanders, their suffocating dark pressure causing the very earth beneath them to sink several feet.

But instantly, six Black Hole realm universal powerhouses also appeared behind Victor, their cosmic domains expanding to shield him. They had also noticed how efficient Victor was in his killing and knew his survival could turn the tide of the entire theater.

They wanted to protect him as well.

"Young man, no need to worry about those bastards! We old men will hold them off! You just need to do what you are doing!" one of the elders shouted, his voice ringing with extreme excitement as he raised his warhammer.

Victor didn’t say anything, but just smirked.

The next moment, ten hyper-concentrated purple rays shot directly toward those ten incoming Abyssal commanders.

Puchi!

Puchi!

Puchi!

Boom!

The ten of them fell on the ground with heavy thud sounds, their massive bodies skidding across the dirt like lifeless sacks of stone. The Rule of Disintegration embedded within the reflected plasma had utterly erased their vital cores before they could even activate their defensive domains.

Silence!

The entire battlefield became pin-drop silent.

The Nebula rank Abyssals had just heaved a sigh of relief to see that their Black Hole realm commanders had arrived personally to turn the tide.

But the next instant, they were gone. Totally annihilated in less than a second.

"Wha..."

The jaws of the six Black Hole beings from the universal side dropped to the ground. Their weapons hung limply in their hands as they stared at the ten smoking, collapsing corpses of the highest-ranking Abyssal officers.

"No need to waste time. Go and lure more commanders here," Victor said in a deep, authoritative tone, his voice cutting through the stunned quiet of the battlefield.

The Black Hole beings instinctively felt they needed to obey the order. The sheer pressure radiating off the young human was far more terrifying than the faction leader himself.

"Okay," they responded automatically, turning around to charge deeper into the enemy territories to drag more high-level targets into Victor’s range.

They all moved, but the entire battlefield was now in complete chaos.

In the supreme command post of the Thessari Alliance, the Quasar realm powerhouse Martin, who had been left in charge in his superior’s absence, stood up in utter shock, as did General Malakor deep inside the Abyssal matrix.

"He is a Quasar realm entity! How come he is free to come here? Shouldn’t he have his own faction to deal with?" Malakor was angry beyond order, his black flames turning into a raging inferno that consumed half of his command deck.

"I need to ask for help. This bastard is way too unpredictable," Malakor instantly communicated with someone far deeper in the dark void, his claws trembling as he sent out an emergency distress signal across the high-tier matrix networks.
