Infinite Mana: I Am The Absolute Supreme
Chapter 153: Victor came to meet the Walker family
Victor nodded calmly.
"The marriage will not take place on Earth. It will be held on the planet where the Heavenly Demon once lived. The Elven Race and the Cosmic Human Alliance will handle all the arrangements."
Everyone around the table fell silent for a moment. They had almost forgotten that Victor now possessed another identity, one far beyond anything they could truly understand. Although he had never explained the full extent of his position, they knew that even the greatest powers of the universe treated him with extraordinary respect.
"All right," Elyndros finally said with a nod. "If that is what you want, then we will follow your arrangements."
Victor smiled faintly and looked toward the others. "Then be prepared. Soon, envoys from the Cosmic Human Alliance and the Elven Race will arrive on Earth to establish formal diplomatic relations. Also, ask the President to meet with me. I will personally provide him with all the information he needs."
The Morningstar family members exchanged glances before nodding seriously. They understood that this was not merely a wedding anymore. Victor was preparing to connect Earth with civilizations that had existed in the universe for countless years, opening a door that humanity had never even known existed.
After the discussion ended, everyone moved toward the banquet table. The Morningstar family had clearly spared no expense for this gathering, bringing out some of the finest delicacies stored within their estate. Even the beverages served at the banquet were treasures that ordinary cultivators could never hope to taste.
The atmosphere quickly became lively again. The earlier seriousness gradually disappeared as everyone enjoyed the food and talked about the upcoming wedding. Tiana and Roseline discussed wedding arrangements while Noelle happily chatted with Diana’s cousins, occasionally throwing teasing remarks toward Victor and Diana.
Victor simply smiled throughout it all. He enjoyed the warmth of the gathering more than he expected, especially because he knew that such peaceful moments would become increasingly precious once the coming catastrophe arrived. After spending several hours with everyone, Victor finally stood up and prepared to leave with his family.
"Thank you for the hospitality," Eric said politely as he stood.
"No need to thank us. From today onward, we are one family," Robert replied with a hearty laugh.
Victor gave everyone a final nod before walking toward the entrance. Diana watched him leave, her eyes carrying a complicated mixture of happiness and anticipation. Soon, she would officially become his wife and leave Earth with him.
As Victor and his family disappeared into the distance, Elyndros remained standing outside the estate for a long time. He looked toward the sky, where countless stars could be faintly seen despite the city’s lights.
"Earth is about to enter its next phase," he muttered quietly.
No one disagreed with him.
For years, Earth had remained an isolated world, struggling merely to survive against monsters and demons. Now, everything was about to change because of one young man who had risen from that very world.
Meanwhile, after returning home, Victor did not waste any time. He immediately contacted his master, Cristofer, and the communication crystal soon projected the old man’s figure into the room.
"Master, how are the preparations over there?" Victor asked.
Cristofer nodded. "Everything is proceeding smoothly. I have already spoken with the Cosmic Human Race, and they have moved their main base to the God Realm. We have also moved our main base there. Now, only you need to arrive and formally unite the two races under your banner."
Victor nodded thoughtfully. "Good. But there is something else I want you to prepare."
Cristofer raised an eyebrow. "What is it?"
"I want a grand wedding ceremony. Invite every race you can reach, whether they are powerful or weak, ancient or newly established. Invite the major races, the minor races, and even those that normally have no opportunity to appear before the great powers."
Cristofer’s expression became slightly surprised.
Victor continued, "I want to see exactly how many races exist in this universe and understand their current condition. I also want to know which races are suffering, which are flourishing, and which are facing extinction. The wedding will be an opportunity to gather information while also announcing our presence to the universe."
"As you wish," Cristofer replied without hesitation.
Victor ended the communication and immediately contacted another person.
This time, the communication was directed toward the Vice President of the Cosmic Human Alliance.
The call connected almost instantly.
"My Lord, what can I do for you?" The Vice President’s voice came through, filled with obvious respect and excitement.
Victor did not waste time with unnecessary words.
"Send several envoys to Earth. I want the planet formally integrated into the Cosmic Human Alliance’s sphere of influence. Establish diplomatic relations and provide them with access to the necessary resources and knowledge."
The Vice President immediately replied, "My Lord, please send me the coordinates of Earth. I will personally come and oversee the process."
Victor smiled.
"Very well. I will send them shortly."
After exchanging a few more words, Victor ended the call.
Everything was finally falling into place.
The Cosmic Human Alliance was preparing to connect Earth to the universe. The Elven Race would soon establish diplomatic relations with humanity. The wedding would gather countless races, and Victor would finally have the opportunity to understand the true state of the universe.
However, there was still one thing he needed to do before leaving Earth.
There was a family he had not visited for a very long time.
The Walker Family.
Victor had not forgotten the kindness of one particular elder from that family. When he had first awakened, that elder had given him a body-strengthening pill, something that had helped him greatly during the earliest period of his journey.
At that time, Victor had been weak and insignificant.
Now, he had become the ruler of Earth.
Yet he had never found the opportunity to repay that debt.
"I should visit them before I leave," Victor murmured.
The next moment, space around him distorted.
Victor’s figure disappeared without leaving behind the slightest trace.
When he appeared again, he was standing in a relatively small city belonging to the Great Sun Empire. This was the place where the original Walker Family had established its roots.
Compared with the magnificent cities Victor had visited recently, this place seemed almost ordinary.
Yet the Walker Family had been doing surprisingly well.
Everyone in the family knew that Victor belonged to their bloodline, but none of them dared to exploit his name. They were painfully aware of their past behavior toward him, and they knew that if they caused trouble using his reputation, Victor might personally punish them.
Therefore, the family had remained extremely cautious.
Suddenly, Victor appeared before the main gate.
The two guards initially paid little attention to the young man who had appeared before them. But after taking a proper look at his face, both men froze.
Their pupils contracted.
Their faces instantly turned pale.
They recognized him.
The ruler of Earth.
The legendary Lord Victor.
The man whose name could make even the most powerful forces tremble.
Both guards immediately dropped to their knees.
"Greetings, Your Highness!"
Their voices trembled uncontrollably.
Victor looked at them and smiled gently.
"Rise."
The two guards stood up with shaking legs. When Victor actually smiled and spoke to them without displaying any arrogance, they felt as though they had been blessed by the heavens themselves.
"Go and inform the elders," Victor said calmly. "Tell them I wish to meet them."
"Yes, Your Highness!"
One of the guards immediately bowed deeply before turning around and sprinting toward the inner estate.
Inside the Walker Family’s main hall, several elders were currently engaged in a heated discussion.
"The Falmuth Kingdom is becoming far too aggressive. How dare they block our supply route?"
"But what can we do? They have an Epic Rank warrior among them. Unless we can find someone capable of restraining him, we cannot fight them directly."
Another elder slammed his palm against the table.
"We are the family of Lord Victor! How dare those bastards bully us so openly?"
The room immediately became quiet.
An old elder gave a bitter smile.
"They know exactly what our situation is. They know that we are not actually close to Lord Victor."
His voice became quieter.
"They also know how we treated him when he lived here."
The faces of everyone present became ugly.
The truth was painful.
They had once looked down upon Victor because he possessed little talent and had seemed destined to remain insignificant. Some had even treated him with contempt.
Now, that same young man had become a figure so powerful that even the Great Sun Empire had to bow before him.
The contrast made every member of the Walker Family feel ashamed.
Before anyone could say anything else, the hall doors suddenly slammed open.
"Who dares enter without permission?" several elders shouted angrily.
The guard stumbled inside, breathing heavily.
"My Lords, please forgive me! Lord Victor is here!"
Silence.
Absolute silence.
Every elder in the room froze.
"What did you say?" one of them asked.
"Lord Victor is here. He is waiting outside and wishes to meet the elders."
Several elders immediately stood up.
"Are you certain?"
"Yes! I swear on my life. I personally saw him!"
The guard was almost panicking. He was terrified that the elders would refuse to believe him and make him go back outside, forcing Lord Victor to continue waiting.
One elder suddenly grabbed his robe and rushed toward the entrance.
"Then what are we standing here for?"
He looked at the others with urgency.
"If he is truly Lord Victor, making him wait outside is an offense we cannot afford. We can question the guard later if he lied, but if he is telling the truth, then we have already committed a grave mistake."
The others quickly followed.
Within seconds, the entire atmosphere of the Walker Family changed.
People who had been arguing over the Falmuth Kingdom moments ago were now rushing toward the entrance with nervous expressions.
Nobody dared to make Victor wait.
When the elders finally reached the main gate, they saw a young man standing quietly outside.
He wore simple clothes, yet his presence alone seemed to suppress the entire surroundings.
