Cheryl Chase’s jaw dropped in astonishment. "It—it’s actually listening to you?"

"It’s not about listening to me, it’s a partnership," Seraphina Sullivan said, gently stroking Flora’s vine. "I provide it with food and safety, and it fights for me. These mutated plants are much smarter than you think. They know how to weigh the pros and cons."

Caleb Chase’s brow furrowed, his eyes glinting with a mix of complex emotions.

He stared at the docile mutated plant, his mind reeling. ’Plants fighting insects? Is that really possible?’

A glint of greed, however, flashed in Harvey Parker’s eyes.

The young blond man stared at the Decaying Flower, his mind already fantasizing about subjugating a powerful mutated plant of his own, slaughtering everything in his path and ruling over this dungeon.

’If I could get a pet like that...’ He licked his lips, already scheming how he would "ask" Seraphina Sullivan for the method to tame plants after the crisis was over.

He didn’t understand.

He looked around but couldn’t see any threat.

Meanwhile, Cheryl Chase was the first to snap out of her shock. "Brother! If we can really control mutated plants, does that mean we can..."

"Don’t get your hopes up just yet," Caleb Chase interrupted his sister, though he couldn’t hide the glimmer of hope in his own eyes.

Still, the Flora that Seraphina Sullivan had summoned was good news for Caleb Chase.

"We’ll need to verify this information. After all, you outsiders are too mysterious, and your abilities might differ. We can’t be sure if controlling plants is your own unique Ability."

Seraphina Sullivan nodded.

"Believe what you want. I’m just giving you a heads-up. Whether you choose to trust it is your problem."

Although Seraphina Sullivan was surviving in the dungeon, she was powerless to help them even if she wanted to. She could only survive in The Insect Frenzy Dungeon for three days.

"I understand."

Caleb Chase was about to thank her.

Suddenly, Harvey Parker let out a blood-curdling scream, instantly drawing everyone’s attention.
