Chapter 122: Chapter 122: Random Weapon, Prince Moe

Without hesitation, Seraphina activated the faintly glowing [Random Weapon Card] with a thought.

[Ding! You have obtained the weapon: Python Patterned Black Whip!]

The card in her hand instantly transformed into a streak of black light, solidifying into a five-foot-long whip that was cool and tough to the touch.

The whip was pitch-black, its body covered in intricate, dark-silver patterns resembling python scales. The handle was wrapped in non-slip black leather, and the pommel ended in a sharp metal spike.

[Python Patterned Black Whip]

[Effect One: Binding. Upon successfully ensnaring a target, this effect can be activated. The whip will instantly tighten, generating a powerful binding force and severely restricting the target’s movement.]

[Effect Two: Free Stretching and Shrinking. By infusing it with a small amount of spiritual power, you can control the whip to instantly extend or shorten. Maximum extension length: 328 feet.]

Holding the whip, Seraphina was lost in thought for a few moments.

"Hmm... a whip, huh..." She swung her arm.

The long black whip sliced through the air with a sharp, crisp CRACK.

"It’s... not bad, I guess? At least when I get angry, I can use it to whip my enemies. It’d be a great way to blow off steam."

As she said this, she subconsciously flicked it again.

CRACK!

The sharp sound was deafening in the living room. Beside her, Sean Chandler instinctively jumped back two steps, his eyes warily fixed on the whip in her hand.

Seraphina: "..."

She retracted the whip with a sigh and muttered, "What are you backing away for? It’s not like I’m going to whip *you*..."

Sean Chandler mumbled under his breath, "You say that now."

Seraphina: ’There’s something seriously off about this guy.’

Although the type of weapon was a bit unexpected, she was very satisfied with her haul from the Golden Treasure Chest overall. Every single item was extremely valuable.

"Oh, right. There’s still the reward from the rescue mission. What on earth is this ’Prince Moe’?"

Seraphina’s curiosity was once again piqued.

She immediately focused her thoughts, prompting the system to release the mission reward.

A faint light flashed, and a creature about the size of a basketball materialized out of thin air.

It landed on the floor with a soft THUD.

Seraphina took a closer look and was instantly rendered speechless.

It was none other than one of the Silenti!

It looked remarkably similar to the grayish-white Imps from the Petrification Apocalypse Dungeon.

But a closer look revealed clear differences: its skin was a deep, profound black, not grayish-white.

It wore a small, dark-gold Crown perched crookedly on its head, forged from some unknown metal and looking rather crude.

The strangest part was its eyes. The pupils were a bottomless, dark green, and it was currently surveying its surroundings with a mixture of confusion and curiosity.

"Huh? So ’Prince Moe’... is really just one of the Silenti?!" Seraphina facepalmed, feeling a profound sense of exasperation.

After seeing the Petrifying Light Ability in the Petrification Apocalypse Dungeon, she had thought it would be a great Skill for ambushes.

That was why she had used [Sweet Fragrance] and the [Universal Syringe] to capture several dozen ordinary Silenti in the dungeon, all of which were still unconscious in her Space.

And now they’d sent her a "prince" model?

’What am I supposed to do with this?’

"Wait a minute!"

She suddenly realized something. Immediately, she concentrated, and a faint golden light flickered in her eyes.

[Eye of Resume]!

[Name: Prince Moe]

[Owner: Player Seraphina Sullivan]

[Gender: Male]

[Professional Skills:

1. Petrification Light: Can manifest Petrifying Light.

2. Royal Dignity: Possesses an innate authority over ordinary Silenti, intimidating them and allowing a certain degree of command.

3. Energy Absorption: Can efficiently absorb ambient Energy to restore its own stamina.

4. ??? (Unawakened)]

[Weaknesses: Afraid of snakes.]

Seeing this list of stats, so clearly different from an ordinary Silenti’s, Seraphina instantly dropped her earlier disdain. Her eyes slowly widened.

’This... I think I’ve hit the jackpot.’

The [Royal Dignity] Ability alone was enough to make Seraphina realize that the ordinary Silenti still sedated in her Space had instantly gone from being "petrification weapons" to a "potential army"!

Seraphina no longer had to worry about how to keep them contained long-term. She could simply hand them over to His Highness, the "Prince," to command.

"This is absolutely perfect! I can build my own exclusive Petrification squad!"

Seraphina’s eyes gleamed with excitement as she started to imagine the spectacular scene: a whole group of Silenti, under her command, firing their Petrifying Light in a single volley.

The newly summoned Prince Moe seemed able to vaguely sense Seraphina’s emotions and thoughts through the system’s Binding.

It tilted its small, crowned head, looked at Seraphina with its dark green eyes, and then, flapping its wings, flew unsteadily to hover in front of her.

It let out a few muffled cries that sounded something like, "Moe~ Moe~," its tone a mixture of curiosity and affection.

Seraphina looked at this new, Imp-like team member and gave a resigned smile. "Alright, it looks like our weird little squad is getting another new member."

To help everyone "get along," Seraphina also summoned Flora from her Space.

Surprisingly, when Flora appeared, its giant bud and waving vines didn’t frighten Prince Moe in the slightest. In fact, Prince Moe seemed quite curious about the plant.

The flower and the Demon sized each other up. Flora even extended a tendril to carefully touch the Crown on Prince Moe’s head, while Prince Moe, in turn, poked one of Flora’s vines with its claw... The two bizarre creatures actually hit it off right away.

Watching this "harmonious" scene unfold, Seraphina felt like something was off. She couldn’t help but facepalm and lament, "Why does everyone else get pets that are either fluffy or sparkly—the kind that are painfully cute? When it comes to me, why is the aesthetic always so bizarre!"

A ferocious, Carnivorous monster flower: Flora!

A sharp-fanged Imp: Prince Moe!

’With a lineup like this, who would ever believe I’m one of the good guys?’

Just as Seraphina was lamenting her bizarre luck with pets, Sean Chandler quietly opened the Silver Treasure Chest he had received.

Instantly, four cards shimmering with different sheens and a simple metal bracelet appeared in his hands.

When Seraphina saw this, the joy from her Golden Treasure Chest was instantly halved. She felt a surge of indignation.

"How is that fair?!" she muttered, her voice thick with indignation.

"The Silver Treasure Chest I opened before only gave me three cards! He gets four cards *and* an item bracelet? Is the gap between a King of Fortune and an unlucky scrub really this huge?"

She couldn’t help but mutter to herself, expressing an unlucky scrub’s blatant "jealousy" of the King of Fortune.

Perhaps moved by the low-pressure atmosphere of resentment practically solidifying around Seraphina, Sean Chandler said nothing. He simply took the four cards and the bracelet—which he’d only just received and were still new in his hands—cupped them in both of his, and offered everything to her.

His expression remained impassive, but his action was resolute.

Seraphina: "..."

This made her a little embarrassed, but... ’who would turn down treasures from the King of Fortune!’
