Incubus Lord: Lust Harem System
Chapter 294: The Arrival of the Solaris Royal Family
Chapter 294: Chapter 294: The Arrival of the Solaris Royal Family
The Azure Dragon delegation stepped through the competitor entrance and onto the holding terrace.
Damon stopped walking.
The Great Solaris Arena stretched before him like a world carved from marble and light.
It was a colossal structure, a perfect circle that could hold over a million cultivators in its tiered seats.
The stands rose in concentric rings, each level packed with spectators whose cheers created a wall of sound that vibrated through the stone beneath his feet.
Sky-piercing solar arrays lined the arena’s rim, crystalline pillars that captured the sun’s light and refracted it into golden beams that crisscrossed above the combat field.
Reinforced marble barrier pillars stood at intervals around the arena floor, their surfaces etched with defensive formations that could withstand King Spirit Realm attacks.
The combat field itself was a massive circle of white stone, its surface smooth and flawless, marked only by the Solaris family crest at its center.
Damon’s Incubus Celestial Eyes scanned the arena automatically.
’One million, three hundred thousand spectators.’
’Forty-seven King Spirit Realm cultivators in the audience.’
’Three Sovereign Spirit Realm presences in the royal box.’
He filed the information away and continued walking toward the designated Azure Dragon section of the holding terrace.
Ariel fell into step beside him, her eyes wide as she took in the scale of the arena.
"I’ve never seen anything like this," she murmured.
"You will see it again," Damon said. "From the victor’s platform."
She smiled and pressed closer to him.
The rest of the team spread out along the terrace, each woman finding her position.
Mio leaned against the railing, studying the arena floor.
Mia stood in her shadow, her eyes tracking movement in the crowd.
Seraphina observed the other teams with a warrior’s assessment.
Flare’s gaze was fixed on the royal box, her expression unreadable.
Alena examined the barrier formations with academic interest.
Selene stood at Damon’s side, her King Spirit Realm aura a silent warning to anyone who looked too long.
Lumina positioned herself beside Damon, her Lark disguise flawless, her breathing controlled.
But Damon could see the tension in her shoulders.
Before he could speak, the imperial war-horns sounded.
The sound was not a simple note. It was a force that shook the clouds themselves, a deep resonant blast that rolled across the arena like thunder given form.
The million-strong crowd fell silent.
All eyes turned upward.
The Solaris Royal Family descended from the highest floating palace, a structure of white marble and gold that hovered above the arena like a second sun.
Golden carriages pulled by Gryphons descended in formation, their wings beating in perfect sync, their eagle heads held high.
The lead carriage was the largest, its surface covered in intricate sun motifs, its wheels spinning slowly despite being airborne.
It landed on the royal platform with a grace that belied its size.
The doors opened.
King Aurelius Solaris stepped out first.
He was an imposing figure, tall and broad-shouldered, his golden hair streaked with silver, his eyes the same luminous gold as Lumina’s.
His presence commanded the arena without effort.
Sovereign Spirit Realm.
Damon’s Incubus Celestial Eyes confirmed what his instincts already knew.
The King was a powerhouse, his cultivation so dense it created a pressure that made the air itself feel heavier.
He wore an imperial sun-crown, a circlet of gold and light that pulsed with its own energy.
Behind him, Queen Vespera descended from the second carriage.
She was elegance personified, her silver-gold hair cascading down her back, her pale blue eyes carrying the same gentle warmth that Lumina’s did.
She moved with the grace of a woman who had spent decades in the spotlight, her every gesture measured and perfect.
Crown Prince Caelum followed, his bearing regal, his features a masculine version of his sister’s.
He scanned the arena with the cold assessment of a man who knew his position was secure.
And then Prince Alex Solaris stepped out.
Damon recognized him immediately.
The same golden hair. The same easy smile. The same eyes that had watched Damon’s matches from the VIP gallery.
Prince Alex scanned the crowd, his gaze landing on Damon for a brief moment before moving on.
But Damon saw the flicker of recognition.
He knows I’m here.
The royal family took their seats in the royal box, a raised platform at the highest point of the arena, surrounded by golden railings and guarded by elite cultivators.
King Aurelius raised his hand.
The crowd erupted.
A million voices roared in unison, their cheers shaking the very foundations of the arena.
The tournament had officially begun.
But Damon’s attention was on Lumina.
She stood beside him, her Lark disguise intact, her face composed.
But her hands were trembling.
He could see it in the slight quiver of her fingers, in the way her breathing had become shallow, in the tension that pulled her shoulders tight.
She was staring at the royal box.
At her father.
At her mother.
At her brothers.
Damon moved his hand behind his robes, his fingers finding hers.
He covered her hand with his own, his palm warm and steady against her cold skin.
He did not look at her. He did not speak.
He simply held her hand.
And slowly, almost imperceptibly, her trembling stopped.
Her breathing steadied.
Her shoulders relaxed.
She squeezed his hand once, a silent acknowledgment, a quiet thank you.
Then she released him and straightened her posture, her composure restored.
Damon turned his attention back to the arena.
King Aurelius Solaris stepped forward to the edge of the royal box, his voice amplified by his cultivation.
"Cultivators of the Eastern Continent!"
His voice carried across the arena, reaching every corner, every seat, every soul.
"Welcome to the Eastern Continent Tournament!"
The crowd roared again.
"Today, we witness the rise of the next generation of power!"
Another roar.
"Seven teams have gathered. Seven champions will emerge. But only one team will claim the title of Eastern Continent Champions!"
Damon watched the King speak, his golden eyes tracking every movement, every gesture.
He could feel the power radiating from the royal box.
Sovereign Spirit Realm.
A realm he would reach soon.
But for now, he had a tournament to win.
The King’s speech ended with a declaration that echoed across the arena.
"Let the tournament begin!"
The crowd’s roar was deafening.
Damon smiled.
’Time to show them what we’re made of.’
