"Is the last one beyond this gate?" Derrick asked the system out loud.

After system knows how long, Derrick finally reached the Bottom of the cave.

He was a mess.

His upper clothes were completely shredded to rags.

There were signs of cuts healing and bruises disappearing on his body.

His pants were barely keeping his modesty and his belt was already gone.

Derrick had changed it with a tactical belt that was used by trained hunters.

The weapon in his hand was different now. The pouch was still there on his hips but in his hand was something else.

Just like the ones he had seen in Keira’s warehouse. Each one of them was as big as half of his arm.

Derrick took out a healing potion from his inventory which costed around 50,000SC itself and drank it down in one go.

But I guess if I can sell the beast cores, I might be able to earn more than that.

Derrick did not know how much of an over thinker he had become ever since he came to this dungeon.

"Let’s do this." He walked up to the gates and kicked them open because his hands were not free.

The lights flickered to life one by one, learning to the depths of the chamber, illuminating the beast sitting on throne at the end of the room.

Derrick’s eyes flew wide open because this was the most humanoid beast he had seen till now.

The only thing that made it clear that it was beast before him and not a human were its pale skin and a pair of sharp teeth peeking out of its pursed lips.

"Hmmm? A human?" The beast opened its eyes the moment Derrick kicked the door open. "What an uncultured beast. As expected of humans."

The voice sent shivers down Derrick’s spine. He froze in his tracks the moment his eyes landed on it.

On her.

With long black streaming down her body on all sides, she was sitting on her throne.

With her head still resting on the back of her hand, she glared at Derrick as if he had stepped in her food.

Seeing him staring at her in trance, she smirked and rose from the throne...

And fell down.

The throne itself was so tall that the seat was ten feet above the ground not to mention the tip of the back.

And she barely reached the height of three feet making Derrick stare at her.

"Ahem. Have you lost yourself in my beauty so much that you cannot even say anything?" She got up from the ground and acted as if she had not just fallen with her face planting into the ground.

Letting out a haughty laugh, she stepped forward. Her long black hair was longer than her, sweeping the ground behind her as she moved.

She was wearing a purple dress that fitted her body perfectly with a neat black bow sitting against her neck, matching the stocking she was wearing.

"Since when did Succubus appear in child form?" Derrick did not even realize he had uttered those words high but they were loud enough to reach the ears of the little beasts.

"WHO IS A SUCCUBUS? I AM A VAMPIRE!!!" As if he had insulted him in the worst way, the little vampire flew in rage and disappeared from the ground and Derrick felt himself flying backwards and sparks flying from all sides.

How? When? The thoughts flashed in his mind as he saw the little vampire attacking him.

Derricked flipped in the air and planted his feet firmly in the ground while sliding back a couple of feet.

He watched as the little devil raised her hand, her nails elongated and she chopped her hairs, leaving them only at the level of her back.

She slowly walked forward while a dense crimson black area escaped her body filling the room.

"I am Lucia Graham. The Heiress of The Graham Family. The Purebred vampire. A reality and you will treat me as such, human."

Derrick feels goosebumps rising all over his body from the heavy tone of her voice.

Gritting his teeth, he forced himself to calm down. Am I supposed to kill a cute little child now?

Despite the fear creeping in his heart, his mind was elsewhere.

He did not even notice Lucia freezing for a second.

But if I don’t kill her, I won’t be able to leave this place... Derrick’s mind was a mess. Do I really have to do something unforgivable just to for the sake of myself.

While he was lost in thought, Lucia gritted her teeth and lowered the head a little before letting out a deafening growl. "How dare you get distracted when I am talking to you, you livestock."

Her face twisted grotesquely as she revealed a rows of sharp monstrous teeth reaching the back of her throat. A pair of bat like wings spread out from behind her as she charged at derrick.
