"Youyu!"

A voice called out from behind.

Yu Youyu paused and looked back.

An older woman in a dark, flowing dress walked slowly over.

Yu Youyu paused. "Auntie Dong..."

Dong Chiyu shifted her gaze to the four Daoist priests.

The four priests stiffened slightly and exchanged glances.

Dong Chiyu arrived in front of Yu Youyu and asked, "Why are you here?"

Yu Youyu pursed her lips, not knowing how to face her.

After a moment of silence, she said, "I came for an answer."

Dong Chiyu looked at the suspended Listening Rain Sword. She reached out and took the sword in her hand.

"If you kill your way in now, you do so without righteous cause," she said. "You will only trap yourself."

Yu Youyu shook her head. "Auntie, I don't care. I don't care at all. This world is too hypocritical. Everything feels fake—humans, demons, and Immortals alike."

Dong Chiyu sighed softly. "What in this world is truly real?"

Yu Youyu pursed her lips, unable to answer.

Dong Chiyu reached out and patted her shoulder. "Life in this world is nothing more than a journey of Cultivation. Your Aunt Ruyi once had these doubts and was just as lost as you are now. There is always a process like this."

Yu Youyu shook her head again. "Auntie, do we really walk through this world just to look at it and understand a few truths? I am not like all of you. I have always felt that everything can be changed, instead of just looking at it and letting it go."

"But if you do this, the only one who gets hurt in the end is yourself."

Dong Chiyu said, "The more extreme you act, the deeper you will sink into the mire."

"So you came to persuade me."

Yu Youyu's eyes turned cold. "You came as a persuader?"

Dong Chiyu shook her head. "I want you to understand the consequences of what you are doing. If that man dies, what will become of this chaotic world? He is indeed at fault, but it is not yet his time to die. Your actions will gradually drag this world into decline, and perhaps truly destroy it."

Yu Youyu replied, "Auntie, I am no bodhisattva. I only have a simple truth here: when some mistakes are made, death is his only home. Someone will always be the emperor, so why can't we just replace him? There are countless people in this world with more talent and virtue than Yan Nantian."

With that, she turned her head back, no longer delaying.

Raising her hand, she cast a Divine Ability.

A heavy gale swept up.

The four Daoist priests paled in shock and were swept aside by the wind.

Yu Youyu stepped forward, rising with the wind. When she landed, she was already before the Main Hall.

Gripping the Listening Rain Sword, Dong Chiyu watched her and sighed softly.

Yu Youyu glanced back, then pushed open the doors to the hall.

With the sound of the doors opening, the scene inside the hall was revealed.

The emperor sat upon the throne. Resting on the desk was the Imperial Jade Seal, containing all the human dao qi fortune, and his hand was pressed firmly upon it.

Xie Huan looked at her calmly, and the two stared at each other in silence.

The moment Yu Youyu saw him, she paused.

This face was very familiar.

Yu Youyu felt she had seen it somewhere before. The memory was fresh, as if it were only recently.

She did not rush to strike. Instead, she stepped forward, walking step by step until she arrived in front of Xie Huan.

"Who are you?"

A brief flicker of surprise showed in Yu Youyu's eyes.

She raised her hand, and the open doors behind her closed.

Xie Huan looked at her and said, "You have the wrong person."

He appeared calm on the surface, but his hand gripped the Imperial Jade Seal tightly. He knew this object was the only thing that could save his life.

Yu Youyu reached out and tore the Human Skin Mask off Xie Huan's face.

Another face fell into Yu Youyu's sight.

Yu Youyu frowned at the Human Skin Mask in her hand. "Where is Yan Nantian?!"

Xie Huan sighed softly. "He left the palace. I do not know where he went."

Yu Youyu tossed the Human Skin Mask down.

Her cold gaze swept over Xie Huan, waiting for his explanation.

Xie Huan then spoke, "At the beginning of the year..."

He recounted the entire matter in detail. Yu Youyu listened calmly, only feeling that all of this was incredibly laughable.

Yan Nantian truly did not care whether this world lived or died.

He could even hand over his throne to someone else. He had never put the common folk in his eyes; his vision had long been blinded by the Way of Longevity and Immortality.

After hearing all this, Yu Youyu fell silent.

She looked at Xie Huan.

As their eyes met, Xie Huan felt as if he had arrived between life and death.

Yu Youyu grabbed his hand, slowly moving it away from the Imperial Jade Seal.

Xie Huan's eyes widened, the fear in his heart causing his expression to change drastically.

Yu Youyu said, "You do not need to guard it so tightly. There isn't a single shred of qi destiny on this seal."

Yu Youyu picked up the Imperial Seal and said, "The real one was likely taken by Yan Nantian."

She casually set the Imperial Seal down.

After examining Xie Huan's face, she glanced at the Human Skin Mask on the floor.

Yu Youyu then raised her hands and cradled Xie Huan's face. Magical Power flowed from her fingertips, and wherever they brushed past, his features began to change bit by bit.

"What are you... doing..."

Xie Huan revealed a look of terror.

"Do not be afraid."

Yu Youyu merely said this, her hands never stopping their movements.

This time, it was no longer an Illusory Veil, nor a Human Skin Mask.

Xie Huan could feel his face changing, from skin to bone.

A moment later, when Yu Youyu pulled her hands away, Xie Huan's face had completely changed.

"Like this, it is real," Yu Youyu said.

When Xie Huan touched his face and felt that the bone structure was completely different, he froze in his seat, a look of helplessness in his eyes, but even more so, confusion.

"You are not going to kill me?" Xie Huan asked.

"Why would I kill you?"

Yu Youyu said, "You are not Yan Nantian."

She turned back, but then suddenly changed her words. "Though from now on, you can be."

Xie Huan paused upon hearing this.

Yu Youyu then said, "Once I retrieve the Imperial Jade Seal, you will be the real emperor."

Saying this, Yu Youyu ignored the change in Xie Huan's expression.

She then strode straight outside.

The four Daoist priests had already stood up from the ground.

Yu Youyu glanced at them, completely uncaring.

Her gaze ultimately landed on Dong Chiyu.

She walked over slowly.

"Auntie, it is time to return the sword to me."

Saying so, Yu Youyu gripped the sword.

Dong Chiyu paused and asked, "You didn't kill him?"

Yu Youyu shook her head.

"That is not the person I want to kill."
