Chapter 322: Chapter 321: Going Against Xie Luo of The Four Spatial Calamities, Testing Might of Dao Fruit! (3)

Lin Yuan had not merely avoided the attacks.

He had interfered with the relationship between their origin and destination.

A faint smile appeared on Lin Yuan’s face.

“Your technique is indeed powerful.”

He closed his fingers.

The spatial blade above him shattered.

“But you have made one mistake.”

Xie Luo stared at him.

“What mistake?”

Lin Yuan took a step forward.

“You believe that because you control the coordinates, you control the outcome.”

The rain returned.

Silver-blue droplets descended around Lin Yuan, carrying the faint golden-purple light of thunder.

“But every coordinate exists within a relationship. Your techniques may alter that relationship, yet they cannot escape the principles that allow it to exist.”

His gaze became colder.

“And now that I understand those principles, your domain is no longer an advantage.”

He raised his right hand.

The Dao Fruit of Three Rebirths within the Thunder Rain Dao released a faint vibration.

The entire domain responded.

The remaining spatial fragments trembled, and the connections between them became visible through the rain.

Lin Yuan did not destroy them all at once.

Instead, he touched three points.

One represented the origin of the domain.

Another represented its current circulation.

The third represented the point where the spatial energy returned to reinforce the structure.

Thunder struck the first.

Rain spread through the second.

Three Rebirths connected the third to the changes caused by the first two.

The three principles circulated.

Then the Spatial Fracture Domain collapsed.

Not through a violent explosion, but through the failure of its underlying structure.

The fragments stopped moving.

The distorted sky returned to normal.

The ancient trees reappeared in their proper positions, and the spiritual Qi resumed its original circulation.

Xie Luo staggered backward.

Blood trickled from the corner of his mouth.

His domain had been destroyed, and the backlash had struck his Primordial Spirit.

For the first time since entering the Sacred Grounds, he looked at Lin Yuan with genuine fear.

The cultivator standing before him was not simply stronger than the reports had suggested.

He was dangerous in a way that Xie Luo had not anticipated.

Lin Yuan had not relied on brute force to break the domain.

He had understood it.

And once he understood it, he had found a way to dismantle it.

Xie Luo gritted his teeth.

He could no longer afford to delay.

He had to notify his siblings and attack Lin Yuan together.

His right hand moved toward the spatial coordinate he had established earlier.

But before he could activate the transmission, Lin Yuan’s gaze fell upon him.

“Are you trying to call for help?”

Xie Luo’s body stiffened.

Lin Yuan’s expression remained calm.

“That will not work.”

He lifted one finger.

A golden-purple spark appeared at the tip.

The spark descended upon the spatial coordinate.

Crack!

The connection shattered.

Xie Luo’s expression turned ashen.

He had spent considerable effort establishing that coordinate. Under normal circumstances, it would have allowed him to communicate with his siblings across the spatial layers.

Yet Lin Yuan had destroyed it with a single strike.

Not because he possessed greater mastery over spatial laws than Xie Luo.

But because he had identified the connection and attacked it at the precise moment when the spatial energy was preparing to flow through it.

The Demon King stared at him.

“How did you…”

Lin Yuan interrupted him.

“Your technique relies on spatial coordinates. You are currently standing within a realm whose spatial structure is already damaged, and you have forced your own coordinates into its laws.”

He tilted his head.

“Did you really believe I would allow you to use the same connection to summon reinforcements?”

Xie Luo’s face twisted with anger.

“You arrogant bastard!”

His body suddenly expanded.

Dark green scales spread across his skin, and his limbs twisted into a monstrous shape. His black robe tore apart as a pair of enormous pincers emerged from his upper body.

His lower torso elongated, and a thick, segmented tail rose behind him. At its tip was a curved stinger that glistened with a strange green light.

The transformation continued until the human appearance of Xie Luo had completely disappeared.

In his place stood a gigantic scorpion-like demon.

Its body was covered in dark green and black chitin, with pale markings running along the edges of its armor. Six powerful legs dug into the ground, while its enormous pincers opened and closed with a sound like metal being crushed.

The tail rose high above its body, and the stinger pointed directly toward Lin Yuan.

A terrible venomous aura spread through the clearing.

The surrounding spiritual Qi recoiled, and several nearby trees began to wither as the venomous energy passed over their leaves.

Ku Ming’s expression changed.

“Benefactor Lin, be careful. That body contains a highly concentrated venomous origin. It is not ordinary poison, and the laws within it may be capable of corrupting spiritual energy and the Primordial Spirit.”

Lin Yuan nodded.

“I see.”

Xie Luo’s compound eyes glowed with a sinister light.

His human appearance had been useful for concealment, but there was no reason to maintain it now.

The laws of the Sacred Grounds allowed him to wield his full strength, and he intended to use every advantage available to him.

His six legs pressed against the ground.

The earth cracked.

Then he attacked.

His enormous body crossed the clearing in an instant, moving far faster than its size suggested. The pincers opened wide, aiming to crush Lin Yuan’s upper body, while the stinger descended from above with terrifying speed.

The attack covered nearly every direction in which Lin Yuan could move.

Yet Lin Yuan did not retreat.

His right hand rose.

A faint golden-purple light appeared around his palm.

“Thunder Rain Dao.”

The words were quiet.

But the moment he spoke, the surrounding spiritual Qi changed.

Dark clouds formed above the clearing, and silver-blue rain began to descend. The droplets were initially sparse, but they multiplied with every breath until a fine curtain of rain covered the entire battlefield.

Xie Luo’s compound eyes narrowed.

He could feel the change in the surrounding laws.

The rain was not merely spiritual energy transformed into water.

Each droplet carried the principle of nourishment and circulation, allowing Lin Yuan to perceive the flow of energy through the environment.

The golden-purple sparks hidden within the rain represented the destructive and judgmental nature of thunder.

And beneath both principles lay the faint crimson, black, and white light of Three Rebirths.

Xie Luo did not understand the relationship between the three.

But he understood enough to know that the technique was dangerous.

He swung his pincers.

The air exploded.

Lin Yuan moved.

His body blurred as Immortal Cloud Step carried him sideways. The enormous pincer struck the ground where he had stood a moment earlier, creating a deep crater and sending fragments of stone flying in every direction.

Before Xie Luo could recover, Lin Yuan appeared beside one of his front legs.

His right hand descended.

A golden-purple bolt of thunder struck the joint between two layers of chitin.

Boom!
