Chapter 320: Chapter 319: Going Against Xie Luo of The Four Spatial Calamities, Testing Might of Dao Fruit!

“You must be Lin Yuan.”

Lin Yuan tilted his head slightly.

“You already know my name. There is no need to ask.”

Xie Luo’s smile widened.

“Good. That saves us some time.”

His gaze shifted briefly toward Bai Qingyue.

“And you must be Bai Qingyue.”

Bai Qingyue looked at him coldly.

“Who are you?”

“A person who has traveled a long way to meet the two of you.”

Xie Luo spread his hands.

“Three Demon Kings have died by your hands. Their deaths have caused considerable trouble for the Hollow Beyond, and several powerful beings are displeased.”

He paused, studying Lin Yuan’s expression.

“I came here to see whether the rumors were true.”

Lin Yuan’s gaze remained indifferent.

“And now that you have seen me?”

Xie Luo chuckled.

“Now I understand why they were concerned.”

He took another step forward.

“But understanding the reason for their concern does not mean I share it.”

The air around him began to distort.

Dark green ripples spread from his body, causing the stones beneath his feet to shift slightly out of alignment. The surrounding trees appeared to bend away from him, and the spatial coordinates within the clearing began to flicker.

Xie Luo looked directly at Lin Yuan.

“I am Xie Luo, one of the Four Spatial Calamities. My siblings and I have killed countless cultivators who believed that their understanding of the Dao could protect them from us.”

He raised his right hand.

A thin line appeared between his index finger and thumb.

The line extended through the air, cutting across the clearing without disturbing the surrounding spiritual Qi.

“Your Dao may be profound, Lin Yuan. But I would like to see whether it can protect you when the space beneath your feet no longer belongs to you.”

Lin Yuan studied the line.

Then he smiled faintly.

“An interesting technique.”

Xie Luo’s expression darkened.

He disliked the way Lin Yuan spoke.

The man did not sound frightened, nor did he appear particularly impressed. He was examining the technique as though it were an object displayed in a shop.

Xie Luo had encountered arrogant cultivators before.

Most of them had died.

He raised his hand higher.

“Then take a closer look.”

The line between his fingers suddenly split into hundreds of strands.

The surrounding space folded.

The clearing vanished.

For an instant, Lin Yuan, Bai Qingyue, and Ku Ming found themselves standing within a distorted region where the ground, sky, and surrounding trees had been divided into countless overlapping fragments.

Some fragments were tilted at impossible angles.

Others appeared upside down.

Several seemed to contain different versions of the same clearing, each one separated from the others by an invisible spatial boundary.

Xie Luo’s voice echoed through the distorted domain.

“This is my Spatial Fracture Domain.”

His figure appeared at several points simultaneously.

“Within this domain, distance is determined by my will. The space before you may be a thousand kilometers away, while the space behind you may contain a blade pressed against your throat.”

He smiled.

“Every movement you make can become a mistake.”

Bai Qingyue immediately released her spiritual sense.

She could feel the distortion pressing against her meridians, and the space around her body seemed to shift whenever she attempted to establish a stable position.

Her cultivation was not yet strong enough to resist such a domain through raw power alone.

Ku Ming’s expression became solemn.

Golden Buddhist runes spread across his arms, and the Indestructible Karmic Wheel appeared behind him.

A faint golden light expanded around his body, stabilizing the space within several paces.

“Benefactor Lin, this domain is unusual. It does not simply distort distance. It divides the relationship between different spatial positions and forces every movement to follow the coordinates established by its master.”

He looked toward one of Xie Luo’s figures.

“Destroying a single fragment may not affect the others.”

Lin Yuan nodded.

“I see.”

He closed his eyes briefly.

Then he opened them.

His deep purple pupils reflected the countless fragments of space surrounding him.

To Xie Luo, the domain was an intricate network of coordinates, each one carefully arranged to create confusion and conceal the true location of an attack.

To Lin Yuan, it was something else.

A structure.

A system of relationships.

And, like every system, it possessed underlying principles.

His Dao Fruit trembled.

The silver-blue principle of Rain spread through his perception, allowing him to sense the faint flow of spiritual energy between the fragments. The golden-purple principle of Thunder followed, revealing the points where the spatial structure had been forced into alignment.

Finally, the principle of Three Rebirths connected the sequence of changes.

Past position.

Present position.

Possible next position.

For the first time since Xie Luo had activated his domain, Lin Yuan could perceive the relationship between the fragments without relying solely on ordinary spatial perception.

The domain was not truly infinite.

It merely created the impression of infinite separation by rearranging the relationships between coordinates.

The distance between two points was not the problem.

The relationship between those points was.

Lin Yuan slowly raised his right hand.

A faint golden-purple spark appeared above his palm.

Xie Luo’s eyes narrowed.

“What are you doing?”

Lin Yuan did not answer.

He flicked his finger.

The spark vanished.

A moment later, it reappeared within one of the spatial fragments, striking the line that connected it to the surrounding structure.

Crack!

A thin fracture appeared in the air.

The entire domain trembled.

Xie Luo’s expression changed.

He immediately shifted the coordinates, attempting to isolate the damaged fragment before the fracture could spread.

But Lin Yuan had already understood the response.

The spatial structure relied upon a series of connections. Each fragment was individually stable, but the relationship between them required continuous adjustment.

When one connection was damaged, the surrounding coordinates had to compensate.

That compensation created a momentary imbalance.

And Lin Yuan’s Dao Fruit had allowed him to perceive that imbalance.

He raised his hand again.

This time, silver-blue rain appeared above his palm.

The rain did not fall toward the ground.

It spread through the air in fine, almost invisible threads, touching the edges of the spatial fragments.

Xie Luo felt his domain respond.

The spatial connections began to fluctuate.

His eyes widened.

“What kind of technique is that?”
