While Magna watched Renna’s bright red face, the blood rushing through her body, and her deep breathing, he complimented her.

"Good, good. Remember how your body reacts and feels. Just try to imitate that."

They had been keeping up the exercise for hours now. Even Faye couldn’t take it anymore and was currently snoring on the bed.

Though Magna suggested they should end it for today or just take a break, Renna refused every time, as she said she could feel something happening.

"Don’t forget, the key to all of this is imagination. Remember the times you got into rage mode and imagine your body reacting that way currently."

Magna also taught her the power of imagination.

He wanted to use similar reactions, like when someone imagines their entire body is covered in hairy caterpillars and starts itching, or when they picture eating a lemon and their mouth starts watering.

In the same way, he believed Renna could make her body start giving the reactions of her rage mode if she added imagination to her high blood flow and adrenaline release.

As time passed, her face grew redder and redder, her breathing becoming more erratic as her tiredness started to rise.

But soon, she finally showed some progress.

"Huh?" Magna watched as the Witch kept her eyes closed, concentrating hard on her imagination, until steam actually began to rise from her reddened skin.

’Is it really working?’ Even he himself was surprised. It was so faint, but it was apparent that something was really happening.

Before long, even the temperature in the room started to increase, while a visual illusion of shimmering air started to form around her body from the extreme heat.

Tiny sparks and micro-flames were bursting and dying along her skin, something Magna was witnessing for the very first time.

"How are you feeling right now?" Magna asked, raising one eyebrow, wanting to be sure she wasn’t feeling angry or something at the moment.

"Tired." She answered through her deep breaths, still with her eyes closed, not seeming angry or anything at all.

Magna smiled at that. "Open your eyes then."

Renna, though feeling something was about to happen as she had fully grasped the imagination technique, still followed the instruction and slowly opened her eyes.

"I was just starting to..." She started with small disappointment in her voice, though her eyes suddenly caught something.

When she looked at her hands, she could see her fair white skin was red now, but that wasn’t all.

"This..." Seeing the faint steam rising from her skin, the shimmering blur caused by the heat around her hands, and, more shockingly, the small flames rising and fading between her fingers, she became speechless.

She wasn’t feeling any anger or rage at the moment at all, but her bloodline trait was fully active.

She raised her head and looked at Magna’s smiling face with wide eyes.

"What?" Magna chuckled, waiting for her to say something.

"How?" Her mind was currently trying to process what was really going on.

Though she had worked for hours for this moment, when it actually happened, she just couldn’t make herself believe it.

She always thought her bloodline trait was something directly linked to emotions, more specifically to one emotion, anger.

But now, what she did was some kind of cheating, as she had seemingly changed the entire principle of how the system worked.

"Well." Magna also actually didn’t quite know how, as he also didn’t really believe it would work, but he replied with what he really thought. "We look like we found some kind of glitch in your bloodline trait."

It was like a bug or exploit in a game, like finding a mechanic, mathematical calculation, or error that wasn’t supposed to exist. But it was overlooked by the game developers and turned to your advantage.

His explanation didn’t make Renna’s confused mind any clearer, but anyway, the result was in front of her eyes.

As she looked at her hands again, the temperature had already started to drop, and the flames had already died down and disappeared.

It didn’t make her worry, as she had done it once, and now she believed she could activate it again using the same technique whenever she wanted.

All she needed now was to master this technique and maximize the speed of its activation.

A berserker mode without any side effect, one that didn’t lower her thinking capacity through anger, was something worth dedicating her entire life to mastering.

Her shocked face started to give way to a huge smile as incredible excitement filled her entire body. "My grandmother needs to see this."

She was so excited to see her face when she saw how easily the biggest flaw of their Cinder family bloodline could be overcome.

Right on time, a knock was heard on the door. "Young Lord, are you awake?"

It was the head maid Victoria’s voice.

’Is it finally time?’ Magna now started to feel the tension rising inside him.

He had been in the mansion long enough to already know that when something important happened, only the head maid would come to knock on his door this late.

He was already surprised it wasn’t Celeste directly rushing into his room to ask about how he could use spells.

"Yes, come in."

Victoria opened the door as she looked inside.

She looked quite surprised to see Faye lying on the bed, having fallen asleep, as well as Renna in the middle of the room with a bright red face and an excited look on her face.

She smiled slightly, whatever was going through her mind, though she didn’t break her professionalism as she said, "Lady Celeste wants to see you and Lady Renna in her study room."

"Oh, okay. Thank you." He replied, then turned to Renna. "It must be something important. Let’s go."

"Yeah. My grandmother should also be there." Renna replied immediately as she started to walk ahead of him with quick steps.

Only Victoria was left behind. After watching the two disappear at the end of the corridor, she turned her eyes to Faye lying on the bed.

She walked closer as she murmured while looking at her innocent sleeping face. "Poor girl. You look like you’ve got quite a strong rival for yourself."

She gave a sigh as she picked her up to take her to her room.
