I'm the Miyoung You Were Looking For, Lol
Chapter 107
Come to think of it, their way of speaking had not been identical from the beginning.
More accurately, they had started sounding alike at some point.
Kwon Mieon had always been friendly and talkative, but Miu had not. When exactly had Miu started becoming affectionate?
Around the time he came to my place?
Miu’s attitude in the game had changed drastically after that day.
His tone had softened, he started reaching out first more often, and he had even tracked down Yeonhoo’s personal contact information and begun texting him.
There’s a good chance that was when he realized 0momo0 was me.
Thinking of it that way made Yeonhoo feel a little better.
If Kwon Mieon had known from the very beginning and ordered him around anyway, that would have been blatant mockery. But if his attitude only changed after discovering who Yeonhoo was, that was a different story.
Thank God.
The conclusion that Kwon Mieon had changed precisely because he learned that 0momo0 was Mo Yeonhoo brought him some relief.
At least he had avoided the worst-case scenario.
His mood improved slightly—
only for another question to immediately follow.
But why, exactly?
No matter how personable Kwon Mieon was in real life, simply learning that 0momo0 was Yeonhoo was hardly a reason to suddenly start treating him so tenderly.
Unless Kwon Mieon had some other reason too.
But then again....
“You’re my only friend, Yeonhoo.”
“...What are you talking about?”
“Didn’t you miss me?”
He suddenly remembered Kwon Mieon’s faintly embarrassed smile.
There had been something peculiar in his expression, almost as if he had genuinely been disappointed that they had not seen each other.
“Your face....”
Then came the memory of him staring at Yeonhoo with both cheeks flushed bright red.
“You’re really red, Yeonhoo.”
Who had any right to call whom red?
Kwon Mieon’s own face had looked ready to burst, yet he had stared at Yeonhoo with that embarrassed expression.
Why was he remembering that now of all times?

Text Message—SMS
(now)
oh you read it
what are you doing that youre reading my messages right away?
Yeonhoo?
Yeonhoo froze.
Apparently, while reading from the preview, he had accidentally opened the message.
Maybe I should just talk to him honestly.
The thought came to him suddenly.
He was about to reply when he let out a sigh.
He had too much to feel guilty about to simply meet Kwon Mieon like nothing had happened.
“I called him Ms. Miyoung. Anyone would think that was weird.”
He had called Miu “Ms. Miyoung” in the game.
What could Kwon Mieon possibly want to talk about besides confronting him over that?
And after everything else Yeonhoo had done around him, the embarrassment alone made it impossible to face him like this.
After agonizing over it, Yeonhoo’s expression hardened with determination.
I’ll bury it.
He would quit the game.
And bury Kwon Mieon somewhere deep in his memory forever.
The instant he made the decision, however, reality got in the way.
But how?
Kwon Mieon knew where he lived.
He knew Yeonhoo’s friends too.
There was no guarantee hiding would keep them from running into each other.
Especially considering how persistent Kwon Mieon could be.
While Yeonhoo was worrying about that—
❮Seo Taemin⠇
Text Message—SMS
(now)
ugh ive been out this whole time
im so freaking sleepyㅠ having hangover food rn
A message abruptly arrived from Seo Taemin.
Apparently, he was still living his life backward.
Curious what Taemin had been up to lately, Yeonhoo opened the chat.
Another text arrived immediately, as though Taemin had been waiting for him.
❮Seo Taemin⠇
oh what
why did you check so fast???
you having hangover food too??????
whatve you been doing lately?
you coming to Rise tonight too?
Rise?
It was a club Taemin practically treated like his own home.
Then again, Taemin loved nightlife enough to make the rounds of every lounge club he could find, not just Rise.
A club? Seriously....
Yeonhoo had no intention of joining him.
He was about to refuse immediately.

If that call had not come in.
The three syllables of Kwon Mieon’s name filled the screen.
The person Yeonhoo most wanted to avoid in the entire world right now.
He flinched and glared at the display.
After ringing for a while, the call disconnected and a message arrived.
<img alt="comment.png" src="https://webview-cache.ridibooks.com/3302049595/epub/images/Images/comment.png"/> Kwon Mieon now
Yeonhoo did you wake up and go back to sleep? if so sorry I...
Yeonhoo stared so hard at the preview that it was as though Kwon Mieon might crawl straight out through the screen.
❮Seo Taemin⠇
hey??
hello?????
Another message arrived from Taemin.
What Yeonhoo sent back was pure impulse.
❮Seo Taemin⠇
yeah lol lets go!!
but can i stay at your place for a while?
Maybe I’ll just have some fun for a while.
He wanted to run away.
Somewhere he could forget the game and his tangled relationship with Kwon Mieon altogether.
If we stop getting involved with each other, we’ll forget soon enough.
Taemin’s place was a convenient escape.
If Yeonhoo kept his distance long enough, eventually all of this would fade.
Just like he had once forgotten Kwon Mieon completely.
❮Seo Taemin⠇
sure but you gotta hang out with me every day lol
Fine by me lol
At the time, Yeonhoo had no idea what that decision would lead to.
*****
God... is this really the right move?
Yeonhoo pressed at his tired eyes and tilted his head.
The cramped lounge bar was packed shoulder to shoulder, and the staff looked frantic as they kept squeezing more guests into whatever slivers of space remained.
I think my head hurts even worse.
Everyone pretended not to care while openly scanning everyone else in the room with predatory interest.
They barely even danced.
It was a full-blown animal kingdom.
And right in the middle of that overcrowded space, happily pouring drinks for everyone, was—
“Hey, drink, drink. How old are you? ...Oh, seriously? You’re older than me?”
His friend, Seo Taemin.
Yeonhoo watched him with an exhausted expression.
How does he do this every single day?
It had already been ten days since Yeonhoo started going out with Taemin.
Yeonhoo was steadily wasting away.
Taemin, on the other hand, somehow looked more alive than ever.
Watching his friend chatter excitedly, Yeonhoo sighed at the sea of people filling the space in front of him.
I need to get out of here.
He had gone to the restroom, and by the time he came back, the passageway was completely jammed.
Yeonhoo stepped back slightly and checked his vibrating phone.

The screen had become painfully familiar by now.
He watched the incoming call until the vibration finally stopped and a notification appeared.
<img alt="image4.png" src="https://webview-cache.ridibooks.com/3302049595/epub/images/Images/image4.png"/>
myYoung♥ now
Missed Call (127)
And almost the instant the missed-call notification appeared, another call came in.

Kwon Mieon was alternating between the myYoung♥ number and his regular number, calling him like a man possessed.
At this point, the constant barrage of calls was almost brazen.
Before, Kwon Mieon had at least seemed to be trying to hide that he was Miu.
Now he was contacting Yeonhoo openly from both numbers.
Yeonhoo ignored this call too.
Another missed-call notification appeared.
Three hundred seventy-one....
Far more than the calls from the myYoung♥ number.
And, of course, it was not just phone calls.
Notifications chimed nonstop across his preview screen.
<img alt="comment.png" src="https://webview-cache.ridibooks.com/3302049595/epub/images/Images/comment.png"/> Kwon Mieon now

are you doing this on purpose to make me worry?
And from myYoung♥.
He sent me a ton of StarGram DMs too.
Kwon Mieon was using every account he had to contact him.
And all those messages shared one thing in common.
His tone keeps getting harsher.
At first, he had sounded worried about Yeonhoo.
As time passed, the messages grew sharper.
And eventually....
<img alt="instagram.png" src="https://webview-cache.ridibooks.com/3302049595/epub/images/Images/instagram.png"/> myYoung♥ now
ah lol

did you block me?
<img alt="instagram.png" src="https://webview-cache.ridibooks.com/3302049595/epub/images/Images/instagram.png"/> myYoung♥ now
no you didnt
His agitation and irritation were on full display.
I could just block him....
Yeonhoo hated himself for knowing the obvious solution and still being unable to do it.
For some reason, he simply could not bring himself to block Kwon Mieon.
“Mo Yeonhoo!!”
A voice suddenly cut clearly through the noise.
The only person here who should have been calling his name was Seo Taemin.
So who was that?
Yeonhoo lowered his gaze at an angle and looked down.
The woman Taemin had greeted earlier was standing there.
“Hi!!”
She had to shout over the music.
Then she grabbed Yeonhoo by the arm and smiled brightly.
“Who are you?”
“I know you! You seriously don’t remember me?”
“I don’t....”
“Look at this!”
Yeonhoo blinked and bent his head slightly.
On the phone she held out was a StarGram profile.
“You still don’t recognize me?”
“...Are you famous or something?”
“No, that’s not what I mean!”
She burst out laughing in disbelief.
“I’m Kim Seongjae’s friend! We met a few times years ago.”
“...Oh.”
Only then did Yeonhoo remember her.
“You changed your name, right? It suits you.”
He thought she used to be called Subin or something....
Either way, her current name suited her better.
Yeonhoo gave a small smile and switched into casual speech.
“Uh, yeah....”
Lee Soyul stared fixedly at his face.
“This is your account, right? Why don’t you post any photos? I feel like you’d do really well as an influencer too.”
“Me?”
“Yeah. You looked kind of young in your pictures, but seeing you in person, your proportions are seriously amazing. Why are you so handsome? You should make some Reels too... Oh, or want to do a challenge with me sometime?”
Lee Soyul kept saying things Yeonhoo barely understood.
But even he picked up on one thing.
“Actually... I kind of want to talk somewhere quieter. Want to go somewhere else, just the two of us? It’s pretty loud in here.”
She was interested in him.
