I'm A Red Panda In A Beast World And Everyone Wants To Be My Mate!{BL}

Chapter 200: Sable’s Confession And The Broken Method!

Neve could use Popi’s telekinesis.

"Holy fuck," he mumbled under his breath.

He didn’t know how he was able to do it. Maybe because he thought of saving the soap and that was the ability that came up.

"Oh Neve, at this rate, you will become the most powerful pregnant beastman in the whole tribes," Popi said, clapping her hands together in excitement.

"Thank you, but I do not want that," Neve said as he made the soap hover through the air right to Popi and she took it before she continued washing her body.

Neve stared at his hands, a smile widening on his face. He loved it. He could use everything. All the abilities. All the powers. He felt invincible.

His cheeks flushed red as his hand touched his stomach gently.

’I wonder if the cubs will be affected by this. Will they have abilities too if they grow up in this world?’ Neve thought to himself, his mind already racing with possibilities.

He shook his head, trying to focus.

’I cannot think of that now. I have to find my last mate and bond with the ones I have here. Including Sable. How the hell do I bond with him after what happened the last time?’

"What is on your mind?" Popi’s voice snapped him back to reality.

Neve looked at Popi and lowered his body deeper into the water until it was above his nose. He did not want to think about Sable right now, but he had to if he was going to bond with all of his mates.

"You do not want to share?" she asked again, noticing his sudden quietness.

Neve lifted his body and sighed deeply.

"I do not know how to speak to Sable after what happened in the outcast territory," he said quietly.

"Huh? What happened?" Popi’s brows raised in confusion.

"Oh, you were not there," Neve folded his hands. Of course, Popi had spent the evening with Varek and left Neve with his mates for privacy. "I told Sable that I was his mate and about the system. I explained everything to him. But he said he was not going to bond with me. He mentioned something about wanting to bond with a mate that has no other mates."

"I see," Popi said, picking at her jaw as if there was any hair there to pick. "You should speak to him and have a good conversation with him."

"Good?" Neve raised a brow. "You mean a heart to heart conversation?"

"Is that what you call it in your tribe?" Popi tilted her head, curious.

"Oh Popi, yes. Yes, that is what they call it," Neve smirked, waving a hand dismissively. "Sure, I will speak to him. I just do not know how to start a conversation or even convince him."

"Just ask him a question and once he starts to talk, just kiss him. It works well," Popi nodded like she had discovered some great wisdom.

Neve’s jaw dropped completely.

"Popi, what did you do?" he asked, not sure if he wanted to know the answer.

"Hmm. When I got the herbs from Gideon, he started talking about how I brought home another beastman when he loved me and so so so so," Popi said, counting on her fingers. "So, I just kissed him to keep him quiet. His face flushed red. I am sure he is sick."

"I am not sure that is how it works, Popi," Neve said, laughing a little despite himself. "But, I doubt that method would work for Sable. But, I will try."

"Good luck," Popi said, sniffing her hand because of the strawberry soap.

’I should probably get more of that for everyone,’ Neve thought to himself. But his Bond Points were not enough for more soap. That was why he had to kiss Sable. That was why he needed more bond points.

Suddenly, the system dinged loudly in front of him.

Neve’s eyes widened. A mission. After so long, the system was giving him a new mission.

[New Mission Available]

[Make Up With Sable And Bond Through A Kiss]

[Task: Speak with Sable and convince him to accept the bond. Kiss him to seal the connection.]

[Reward: ??? Bond Points]

Neve grinned at the notification.

"I have been waiting for you bastard. Let us get this kissing started," he said and stepped out of the water.

"Huh?" Popi lifted her head, thinking Neve was talking to her.

But Neve was already focused on his mission.

He wrapped his body with a dry fabric and started to leave.

"I will go meet Sable," he said.

"Good luck and send the kids in here, will you?" Popi asked.

"Okay!" Neve yelled, already moving.

.

.

After he told the kids to wash up in the bathing room with Popi, he went to his personal room and dressed into a clean shirt. He felt so clean after that shower. The cleanest he had ever been ever since he stepped into this beast world.

The fabric felt soft against his skin. His hair was still damp but it was clean now. He smelled like strawberries.

"I should cook a great dinner later. Maybe a special homemade ramen," Neve muttered to himself as he adjusted his shirt. "But I have to gather bond points first. Oh system, help me."

He prayed quietly as he stepped out of his room.

There was not anyone around the main cave. Everyone had gone for hunting or their regular meetings and tasks. The cave was quiet and empty.

He got out into the snow and looked around, searching for the beastman with orange hair and fox features.

There was Sable.

He was standing alone in the snow, looking at the sky.

Neve sighed, walking toward him slowly.

Sable saw him coming and rushed toward him instead, closing the distance between them quickly.

"What do you think you are doing?" Sable asked, his voice guarded.

"I was coming to meet you," Neve said simply.

"Meet me? Shouldn’t you have called for me or something?" Sable frowned, his orange eyes studying Neve carefully.

Neve’s face dropped. This was definitely not going as he had planned.

"Are you upset with me?" Neve asked, his voice small.

"What?" Sable raised a brow. "What do you mean by that?"

Neve took a deep breath and tried again.

"No wait. Let me rephrase the question. Are you disgusted by me? For having so many mates?" he asked, his voice shaking slightly.

"I never said that," Sable shook his head firmly.

"I only want a yes or no answer, Sable," Neve said, refusing to look at Sable’s face. He could feel the tears hanging at the corner of his eyes, threatening to fall. His emotions were getting the better of him.

There was a long pause before Sable answered.

"No, Neve. I am not disgusted by you," Sable said after a sigh.

But Neve heard the hesitation in his voice. Sable could be saying it just because he did not want to make Neve sad. But Neve was not stupid. He could read between the lines.

He felt the tears rolled down his cheek as he lifted his head to look at Sable in the eyes.

"Neve," Sable stepped forward, stretching his hand out to wipe away Neve’s tears.

But Neve stepped back, lifting his hand to stop Sable from stepping closer.

"I apologize for making you uncomfortable," Neve said, his voice cracking. "I will find a way to break whatever bond is between us. Then you can be free to find whoever you want. However, that does not mean you can leave. You are free to stay here till you are ready to leave."

"Neve," Sable shook his head firmly, trying to reach for Neve again.

But before Sable could touch him, he held Neve’s hand before he could turn away.

Neve pulled his hand away from Sable’s grip and kept walking toward the cave entrance. He just wanted to rush inside and cry into his pillow. He wanted to be alone.

He rushed to the entrance but before he could reach it, someone wrapped their arms around him from behind.

It was Sable.

"Do not do this Neve," Sable said, his voice desperate. "I should be the one to apologize. I am sorry. I am sorry, Neve. For everything."

Sable spoke into his hair, his arms wrapped around Neve protectively.

"I love you, Neve," he said, the words coming out like a confession. Like he had been holding them in for so long and could not hold them anymore.

Neve’s eyes widened and his chest fluttered with emotion.

He slowly loosened himself from Sable’s grip and turned to see the fox beastman. Tears were streaming down Sable’s face. His eyes were red and wet.

And above his head, glowing clearly, was the favorability meter.

[Favorability Meter]

[Sable: 50]

It had increased from 34 to 50. The kiss method did not work. This worked. This raw confession. This honest admission of feelings.

’Ha. Sorry Popi, but this method was what worked the best,’ Neve thought as he clasped his hand over his mouth in shock.
