Chapter 1110: The Final Race (Part 7)
Mammoth Ancestor—Mahira Tusk!
That was the identity of the woman who had suddenly appeared before Inala. However, unlike the Mahira Tusk that he had seen before, this one was different.
’First, she looks old here. Second,’ Inala frowned as he observed the other party while casually donning the pair of goggles he stole from Halmahera, ’This isn’t her.’
There was no mind space present within the figure standing before him. ’Then it’s an equivalent of the Attributed Creatures from the Attributed Region.’
Influenced Region—Transcended Plane!
It had two functions: first was to create a window that allowed Transcendents to interact with the natives. This interaction was primitive, where the Transcendent merely seeped a portion of their influence into the native. If the native survives, they gain all the knowledge present within the influence.
When they are unable to survive, they are fully influenced. Free Human Transcendents influence the natives into becoming sculptures of their respective Human Avatars. Pranic Beast Transcendents influence the natives into becoming flesh masses in the worst-case scenario, or an endlessly mutating creature in the best-case scenario, which eventually also lead to death from heart attack, insanity, etc.
Clansmen Transcendents produce a mixed result, but with greater potency. After all, even on Sumatra, a Mammoth Clansman was equal to four Free Humans on the same level. Things were the same even among Transcendents.
This was the first function, meant for communication.
The second function was meant for defence, primarily of the Major Treasure of Seat of Transcendence. And after it is been claimed, the second function would protect Sumatra from external attacks.
“Take a hit, Leukeu.” KalTara whispered from the side, nervous, “That way, you’ll learn everything there is about her.”
“That’s not her.” Inala explained while analysing the distance between him and Mahira Tusk. Then, the two made eye contact.
“A Brully,” Mahira Tusk uttered coldly and then eyed KalTara, “Hmm…a Clansman? That’s strange, the only other Clan apart from mine is the Cooter Clan.”
She grew silent for a few seconds and blankly stared at the floor below her. She turned around and stared at the pillar of light emitted by the Seat of Transcendence far into the distance.
And then, she noticed a crowd of Pranic Beasts, Free Humans, Ravaged Tribesmen, and a few Clansmen rushing in her direction, intending to reach the Seat of Transcendence, “Understood.”
Secondary Nature—Weaponisation!
Weaponisation—Dance of Annihilation!
A wave of Prana slammed into the charging creatures and spontaneously morphed them into Nature Weapons. Those at the Iron Grade turned into Nature Weapons in under a second. Those at the Silver Grade resisted for a bit over a second, and those at the Gold Grade grunted and tried to escape for a few seconds, before they too turned into Nature Weapons.
“Hmm?” Mahira Tusk was stunned to see a large number of natives were still charging at her. They were Mutated Pranic Beasts, Clansmen, a small group of Free Humans, and lots of Mystic Humans.
Without missing a beat, she changed her stance. Her arms crouched low while she lifted her right leg until the toes aligned with the back of her head. The toes on her left gripped upon the floor and spun her body, causing her to twirl. While in the rotatory motion, she brought her right leg to the ground and lifted it to her front, until it reached her face.
Then the right leg moved to the back of her head, repeating the motion. Her arms flapped like a bird and then engaged in a motion resembling shadow boxing.
She stared at a Mutated Pranic Beast and performed a set of boxing actions while twirling around.
Weaponisation—Harmonical Dance of Annihilation!
Suddenly, in the Tertiary Nature slot of the Mutated Pranic Beast, the projection of a Nature Weapon appeared. This Nature Weapon was a mere projection, in that it didn’t have any Nature, but only the presence of one.
This presence quickly influenced the other two Natures into a harmony, mixing and matching accordingly in an effort to allow the body’s Prana into seeking a higher state of power.
State of Harmony!
It wasn’t an actual State of Harmony, but just a unification of the constantly varying presence of the Mutated Pranic Beast—thanks to its two Natures—into one. And the moment its presence remained unchanged for a few seconds, the Mutated Pranic Beast ended up turning into a Nature Weapon.
Grrr!
The Nature Weapon vibrated unstably, as the moment the Nature Weapon projection in the Tertiary Nature slot vanished, the Pranic Beast’s presence began to change naturally in an effort to counter the effects of Weaponisation.
In a matter of time, the Nature Weapon would break and release the Pranic Beast. Only in the case of a Gold Grade Pranic Beast was this possible. For Mutated Silver Grade Pranic Beasts and below, they’ll run out of Prana before they could break free.
And once their Prana was expended, they would be fully trapped in the Nature Weapon until the end of their lifespan.
Mahira Tusk eyed the second closest Mutated Pranic Beast, slightly changed the angle of her arms, and repeated the boxing motion. Every few seconds, a Mutated Pranic Beast turned into a Nature Weapon.
“Gah!” A Mystic Human grunted, feeling a strange presence latch onto his Spirit Container and seek to harmonise the presence generated by his three Natures.
Since all three Natures were filled, Mahira Tusk couldn’t rely on the projection method to turn him into a Nature Weapon. instead, she targeted the Spirit Container itself, to house the presence being generated from it wholly, and then act upon that unified presence.
“Strangely…” Mahira Tusk uttered in confusion, “I think I don’t need to use such a complicated Prime Skill, especially against your type.”
“Urgh!” The Mystic Human grunted in shock and collapsed to the floor, watching the strange presence latch only onto his Primary Nature. And then, it suddenly felt like his Secondary and Tertiary Bodies were fully sealed, causing only the presence of Astral Weaponiser to remain in his being.
“Oh…shit!” He gasped in realisation and turned into a Nature Weapon. However, exactly two seconds later, the Nature Weapon shattered, and he found himself back to normal.
The space collapse within the Nature Weapon had caused some injuries to him, but overall, he was perfectly safe. “Ha…haha!”
“Mystic Humans are Sumatra’s most perfect existences!” He cackled in euphoria, only to be turned into a Nature Weapon immediately after.
Primary Nature—Internal Inertial Gravity!
“Perfect?” Mahira Tusk chuckled with an ounce of disdain and collapsed the space within the Nature Weapon, “Only I can call myself that.”
The Mystic Human appeared on the floor, riddled into a thousand, mashed pieces. And without missing another beat, Mahira Tusk switched to her next target.
Appearing beside the Mystic Human corpse alongside an observant KalTara was Inala. He crouched before the corpse and dipped his index finger into a large piece. He allowed the lingering presence within it to interact with his Prana and obtained a trace level of understanding.
“That’s Mahira Tusk, alright,” Inala uttered upon observing Mahira Tusk in action, “Or to be more accurate, a projection of her moments before she turned into a Transcendent.”
That was the second function of the Transcended Plane. Every single native on Sumatra that had become a Transcendent post the Brully Invasion was recorded in the Transcended Plane.
And when necessary, their projections as a native would appear to defend Sumatra. These projections were from the time the Transcendents were at their strongest, which was moments before they attempted to enter the Transcendence Stage.
It was why Mahira Tusk had no idea about KalTara being the leader of the Wean Clan. Because she only had the memories of the time she lived on Sumatra. And in that time, there was no Wean Clan.
’However, to think she had developed Weaponisation to such an extent.’ Inala shuddered slightly. Weaponisation was a pretty strong Nature. But when Dance of Annihilation gets involved, it becomes severely overpowered, capable of turning hordes of targets into Nature Weapons.
Its only weakness stemmed from the fact that Weaponisation could be used only on targets with one Nature. Those with more than one Nature, such as a Mutated Pranic Beast, were immune to the effects of Weaponisation, since their Prana would mix and match the influence from their two Natures.
The resultant influence would keep changing every moment, preventing the effects of Weaponisation from latching and influencing their bodies.
However, State of Harmony was something that existed. It harmonised a being’s three Natures to result in a unified, output far surpassing the summation of the individual Natures.
Mystic Empyrean Tentacles had always used a State of Harmony, and Mahira Tusk used Renduldu as a pet. ’She must have researched upon Renduldu extensively to figure out the mechanism behind a State of Harmony and applied those results to her Weaponisation.’
’So, if I were to use my State of Unity, I only become an easy target for her.’ Inala thought and smirked a little as he clapped once and assumed his Rutham Human Avatar form.
He got into a sprinter’s start, turned into a golden flash, and rushed towards Mahira Tusk. The latter’s eyes flickered once upon seeing the Human Avatar form of a Brully charging at her. But while her mind processed the shock, her body performed a dance like clockwork.
As the influence of Dance of Annihilation made contact with him, Inala switched from a Rutham Human Avatar to a Billakin Human Avatar. And right as the influence from Dance of Annihilation was about to affect him, he switched to his Rutham Human Avatar and charged at Mahira Tusk.
“Hey,” A few switches later, Inala flashed before Mahira Tusk, assumed his tusk bone powder Human Avatar form, and kicked the latter.
Mahira Tusk promptly raised the density of her body to defend against the attack. But thanks to the size difference and a Brully’s physical might atop Internal Inertial Gravity, Inala sent Mahira Tusk skidding back a couple hundred metres.
He had just begun the attack when a ginormous eye appeared beneath him and glared at him in full swing. Inala grunted in response, revealed a smile, and stared right into the eye, “I merely kicked your projection. That annoyed you, huh?”
The real Mahira Tusk had appeared, intending to communicate with him. Which simply meant she was pouring her influence into him. “However, irrespective of how powerful you are, you’re only at the Gold Grade.”
State of Unity!
The floor underneath him began to radiate densely, acting as a shield against Mahira Tusk’s influence. He had barely activated his State of Unity for a second. As a droplet of sweat trickled down his cheek, Inala chuckled as he stared at the projected figure of Mahira Tusk charge at him, all while warding off the real deal’s influence.
Since Mahira Tusk had locked onto him, the rest were free to move. KalTara immediately circled around and began charging towards the Seat of Transcendence.
He went past Mahira Tusk with a mild grin and then tumbled to the floor upon his legs suddenly getting charred.
“Dammit!” KalTara hurriedly rolled to the side and noticed a second projection had appeared. He lifted his head and groaned spontaneously after, recalling his most recent beating, “Not this guy…”
Calmly standing fifty metres before KalTara was a lean, bald man wearing baggy clothes. He had a lazy countenance that masked an irritation of being woken up midsleep.
Slowly, he raised his hand and scratched his bald head while addressing KalTara, “Run away, Kid. I’ve been brought into existence to kill anyone who dares covet the Seat of Transcendence.”
Cooter Ancestor—Walwal Walwal!
