Influenced Region—Attributed Region!
It was dense water that had been compressed to its limit, until even a droplet weighed as much as a mountain. It was created by influencing water. And the trace amounts of minerals present in the water, alongside dissolved blood that still retained traces of the owner’s Prana, all flowed into the Attributed Region and were influenced by the Major Treasure of Attribute.
The Attributed Creatures were a result of that, creatures of water capable of mimicking the mind aspects of Prana. The keys were similar to the function of cultivation techniques, in that they were the bridge between a mineral and a Spirit Container.
These keys allowed one to go through its various layers and compartments.
Influenced Region—Sanctuary!
It was an enclosed land, shaped like a honeycomb whose wax absorbed the genetic material of living beings and processed it into nectar. Sanctuary was a perfect harmony between organic and inorganic, resulting in a semi-living being.
The nectar it produced was thanks to the interaction between this harmonious region and the influence generated by the Major Treasure of Pet.
Influenced Region—Armoury!
It was a sea of psychokinesis that went around carrying an arsenal of Spirit Weapons in search of more minerals to turn into a Spirit Weapon. The influence generated by the Major Treasure of Weapon interacted with the air, treating the latter as a Spirit Weapon, and produced a stream of Prana.
This wasn’t pure Prana, but instead one fuelling psychokinesis. This psychokinesis was then captured before it could affect the air and then condensed to form the Armoury. It had the capability to think as long as it retained the sea of psychokinesis.
And it used its thought process to target anything and everything alive to get a Spirit Weapon out of.
Depending on what it influenced, the functions of an Influenced Region varied.
Influenced Region—Transcended Plane!
What terrain was influenced to create this Influenced Region by the Major Treasure of Seat of Transcendence?
The answer was simply: Sumatra.
When a cultivator becomes a Transcendent, their body, mind, and soul become one. Everything that once belonged to them turns into a unity, which represents their being.
The fusion of the energies of the body, mind, and soul creates Prana. And similarly, the fusion of the body, mind, and soul creates the Transcendent Prana, which exists in a solid form.
The Transcendent Prana itself was the Transcendent in the literal sense. Therefore, having as much of the Transcendent Prana in one spot was the most beneficial, for that concentrated the Transcendent’s authority the highest.
That’s why Transcendents joined hands to create Transcendent Worlds. They were Transcendent Prana of the respective Transcendents. Basically, Transcendent Worlds were their true bodies.
As long as the Transcendent World remained intact, the Transcendent could never die. Moreover, any physical body that appeared like a living being was a projection they sent out to do whatever they intended to do.
The amount of Transcendent Prana forming this projection directly correlates to the strength it could wield in proportion to the original.
This was why a Transcendent Eater was extremely important to their development. After all, a Transcendent Eater was capable of supplying Transcendent Worlds with Transcendent Prana, which the worlds could digest and produce their respective variants of the same.
This allowed the Transcendent Worlds to have disposable Transcendent Prana, granting them the means to create projections close to their full strength. If they were to have an excess, they could create a projection at maximum strength.
It was impossible to go beyond this though, as that was the limit of their existence. However, if a max strength projection dies, the Transcendent World could consume the excess Transcendent Prana to send out another max strength projection.
Usually, when a Transcendent loses their will to live, their Transcendent Prana begins to break down. It wouldn’t be a uniform breakdown as there will be differences in the aspects of the body, mind, and soul across different units of Transcendent Prana.
All this would produce different results, such as the terrain in an Enclave, which is the dead body of an Iron Transcendent.
Similar to cultivators where natural progression was possible from Iron, Silver, and until Gold, with Mystic being extremely special, the same held true even among Transcendents.
When a Mystic Transcendent loses the will to live, they turn into a Transcendent. However, their Transcendent Prana is of the utmost quality and purity possible, making it an inert substance. It wouldn’t break down over time and remain as is forever, unless acted upon by external forces with strength rivalling a Mystic Transcendent.
Moments before losing the will to live, a Mystic Transcendent would dissolve some of its Transcendent Prana in order to create a terrain suitable for creatures to live at in the future. The extent of their action in that moment determined the Continent’s fate, growth, and future.
Sumatra Continent, in that moment, chose to centre itself on the Mind Path while creating a plethora of varied terrain as possible. It also allowed its Blessed Race to use Thought Condensation to develop the Continent further.
The Transcendent Eater provided the energy necessary to do everything. And gradually, through its Blessed Race, Sumatra Continent began producing Sumatra Gold.
The ultimate mineral for Free Humans, the clutch for every plan, and the confidence that guaranteed success towards anything. That was Sumatra Gold to the natives.
Three pieces were all Inala needed to go from a Silver Grade existence to becoming the Royal Zinger.
They were extremely valuable, the most valuable on Sumatra. And this Sumatra Gold, was the target that had been influenced by the Major Treasure of Seat of Transcendence.
The result was the Transcended Plane, a region in the Continent where the natives could enter and interact freely with Transcendents of Sumatra.
Two types of interactions were possible: active and passive.
In the case of an active interaction, the Transcendent is projecting image onto the Transcendent World to influence the natives within. If the native is able to endure the influence, they will gain everything that formed the influence.
Mystic Kinesis Art—Sword Flight!
The body, mind, and soul aspects contained in the influence translated into the Skill of Sword Flight once Inala survived it for a minute. All the influence plaguing him were filtered into a nurturing form by the Transcended Plane.
And then, similar to accessing an Information Slip, as Inala’s Prana interacted with the filtered influence, the Skill was translated into his mind space.
The Skill of Sword Flight relied on the principle of the Skill of Spirit Weapon Switch, by far the most developed Skill in the Brimgan Royalty. Unlike Spirit Weapon Switch that intended to switch between as many Spirit Weapons as possible, Sword Flight only used two switches.
First was to use psychokinesis to push a Spirit Weapon, granting it some momentum. Second was to switch to using psychokinesis to tug at the Spirit Weapon.
The stream of Prana forming the second was special. It formed a coil through the air like a spring and accumulated the power of psychokinesis in it, which was unleashed with a slight delay to tug the user’s Human Avatar.
This action pulled the Human Avatar form of the user towards the Spirit Weapon a little, using up the latter’s momentum. The moment would be minor, a fraction of a millimetre.
After this, the Spirit Weapon would be accelerated using psychokinesis once again. Then, control would be switched to the coiled stream of Prana to store psychokinesis.
These two switches would be fired off in a loop, resulting in a Spirit Weapon flying through the air while the user trails after it. They would actually be flying through the air.
And best of all, this flight was merely a series of fragmented push and pulls performed in a cycle. Therefore, it wouldn’t violate the no-flight rule of Sumatra and trigger the Major Treasure of Flight into action.
The top speed attainable by a peak Body Stage Brimgan Royal would allow them to travel a metre vertically in the air after a few minutes.
At the 10-Life Stage, they would be able to cover a metre every couple seconds. The speed was damn slow, and didn’t have any combat effectiveness.
However, it had one benefit in that the user had perfectly taken advantage of a loophole to achieve a state of flight without it being classified as one. Moreover, in a far-off situation where the Brimgan Royal didn’t have anything to anchor upon and had to reach a ceiling, this Skill would come in handy.
If nothing else, they could launch themselves into the sky and use the Skill to hover at heights far beyond their Spirit Weapon range.
The Skill of Sword Flight would be significantly more potent in the hands of Boul Brimgan. He would be able to use it even in battles.
In the present scenario, Inala could rely upon it to hover in the sky for a short while. He didn’t have a need for it, but it was better to have it than not.
As Inala walked on the golden path, his Prana began to circulate better through his body, until soon, he had recovered enough. The golden path started to flicker, causing him to hurriedly reach its end. ’So, it’s not a permanent path.’
Had it been as such, he would have chilled on the path and waited to spot an Iron Transcendent to take advantage of and get another path. That way, he could have safely traversed to the pillar of light in the distance.
“Well, things aren’t always so convenient.” He muttered and eyed the pair of tentacles swarming beneath the water layer before him, “So, can’t you move away so that I can move in peace?”
However, in response to his words, the tentacles only curled around until Inala was fully encircled. And right as the golden path vanished, a suffocating influence slammed into him.
But Inala was ready this time, having activated his State of Unity in advance. There was nothing unusual about him, as he used all his strength to counter the invading presence. “Gah!”
A minute later, he collapsed upon a greyish-green path that had appeared and began recovering his exhausted Prana. “That bastard…”
Inala frowned as the water layer under him had become clear, “He left.”
As his Prana circulated, a scene appeared in his mind. That was what Renduldu had gifted him.
The scene was from the future, ’No, it’s probably one of the possible futures.’
’If he went to the trouble of showing it to me, then it has a solid chance of happening.’ Inala thought as he looked into the scene and felt a searing headache, ’Again?’
“Goodness…” He exhaled a drawn-out breath, as the scene depicted Virala fusing with the Seat of Transcendence and growing extremely overpowered, for his Tertiary Body of Empyrean Boar King had been upgraded into the Celestial Boar.
But right after, the Brood Mother jumped him.
And overnight…
She destroys Sumatra.
