Chapter 263: Female Disguised as Male x Despairing Straight Female (18): The Officer Under Your Command Is Actually Male! What a Mess

  • Next Chapter

【Not everyone could accept suddenly changing sex, especially after he'd disappeared without a word for three days.

Even though Felix had a perfectly legitimate reason, he still felt extremely guilty.

To keep Lucas from "promoting" him—picking him up and beating the hell out of him—he had deliberately worn a thin protective suit underneath his casual uniform.

It probably wouldn't do much against a ferocious military female, but at least it could reduce the internal injuries to some extent.

Yet after he finished speaking and looked at Lucas's reaction, Lucas seemed completely out of it.

His same-sex lover had disappeared for three days, only to return and announce that he wanted to pursue him all over again as a Male Zerg. No Female Zerg could possibly remain composed after hearing that.

Lucas simply hadn't managed to understand what he meant at all. What Male Zerg? What pursuit? What change to his records?

Felix gave him some time to process the current situation and let him look at the updated records. Then, the moment Lucas looked back at him, Felix immediately covered his head with both arms.

"Don't hit my head! Don't hit my face!" Anywhere else was fine.

He still needed this face to coax his Zerg.

His face couldn't be damaged.

Lucas was still dumbfounded.

When Felix told him to look at the records, he'd assumed Felix had received a new assignment and was being transferred away.

But instead... his sex had changed?

His superior officer, General Enzo of the Seventh Military Region, had even personally explained the situation to him, saying there had been a problem with the original examination and they'd gotten it wrong.

€€€€The officer under your command is actually male! What a mess.

Lucas had no idea whether the testing equipment had made a mistake or not, but he'd slept with Felix before. How could he possibly not know whether Felix was female or male?

Breakfast time was already ending, and more Zergs were appearing along the road, while Felix looked obviously guilty and terrified of getting beaten.

Gritting his teeth, Lucas grabbed Felix by the collar, dragged him into the training room beside them, locked the door, and shoved him against the wall with one hand.

Felix's eyes widened in surprise as he was slammed against the wall.

Here it came—the dreaded military "promotion."

He had performed too exceptionally as a recruit and had been too mild-mannered and friendly to ever experience such a thing back then. Was he actually going to experience it from Lucas today?

Still, Lucas was surprisingly nice. Even after slamming him against the wall, he'd left both of Felix's feet touching the floor. Hopefully his fists would be just as friendly later and wouldn't hurt too much.

While Felix was thinking this, Lucas leaned closer. His handsome face, carrying a trace of suppressed anger, enlarged before Felix's eyes.

So beautiful.

Felix froze and forgot to react.

Seeing that he still looked utterly unrepentant only made Lucas angrier. He ground his teeth furiously and moved even closer until the tips of their noses nearly touched, then lowered his voice and demanded:

"Do you even know what you're doing? Have you lost your mind? You actually disguised yourself as a Male Zerg!? Do you seriously think no one will find out?"

Felix was a Female Zerg.

Lucas had slept with him. He knew that perfectly well.

Lucas had no idea what method Felix had used to disguise himself as a Male Zerg, much less how he'd somehow managed to alter his records without anyone noticing.

But no lie could withstand the test of time. Sooner or later, the truth would be exposed. And Felix was acting so conspicuously on top of everything else. The identity of a Male Zerg naturally attracted enormous attention. How long did Felix think he could keep this hidden?

Once he was discovered, his reputation and career would be completely destroyed.

Lucas had already accepted the reality that he was a female-Zerg lesbian. After word spread that female-female relationships in the military could result in disciplinary punishment, he'd also prepared himself for the worst.

But he had never imagined that Felix would take a single sentence from him and use it to throw himself into an abyss from which there was no return.

Lucas was furious with Felix for what he'd done, but he regretted his own actions just as much.

He regretted it bitterly.

He never should have lost his head and told Felix that he liked Male Zergs.

And over the past three days, he should have explained himself to Felix instead of saying absolutely nothing and simply waiting like an idiot—waiting for three whole days until Felix had ruined his own future.

Lucas's eyes turned red.

He desperately wanted to kiss Felix hard on the lips and tell him that what he'd liked had never been some Male Zerg.

He liked Felix.

Female or male, it didn't matter.

But it was already too late.

No.

It wasn't too late yet.

Lucas yanked the dumbfounded Felix away from the wall, grabbed him, and started pulling him toward the door.

"You're coming with me to explain everything. We'll go to General Enzo and tell him what happened. This hasn't blown up yet. Everyone doesn't know about it yet, so there's still time! I'm your commanding officer. It was my failure to manage you properly that caused you to make one wrong decision and go down the wrong path. I'll take full responsibility. You still have a chance to correct your mistake and start over."

Felix hurriedly grabbed him and refused to let him leave.

Wait, what?

What did he mean, disguised as a Male Zerg?

He really was a Male Zerg!

At least right now, he was one hundred percent Male Zerg!

"I am a Male Zerg!" Felix was practically frantic.

He had never imagined that one day his sex would actually be questioned in this particular way.

He'd assumed that, at most, some Zerg might question whether he was really a Female Zerg!

Lucas gave him a cold look that clearly said he didn't believe a single word and was simply waiting to see what nonsense Felix would make up next.

His gaze was cold and resolute, filled with determination to drag Felix back onto the right path because he couldn't bear to watch him continue making mistakes.

Felix wanted to cry.

What kind of ridiculous situation was this?

He definitely didn't want to be dragged before the Military Region's General over something like this. When that happened, he, Lucas, and the General would all be horribly embarrassed.

"I really am a Male Zerg. If you don't believe me, touch me."

Felix grabbed Lucas's hand, intending to prove it to him.

Lucas's arm went rigid and refused to move. He glared angrily at Felix, the tips of his ears warming, infuriated that Felix still dared to make such a dirty joke at a time like this.

Felix felt terribly wronged.

He really was only trying to prove that he was a Male Zerg.

If this method didn't work, then what was he supposed to do?

Felix's thoughts raced so fast that his brain practically started smoking before he finally remembered what he'd overlooked.

"Then I'll release pheromones to prove it!"

As he spoke, Felix prepared to release them.

Naturally, Lucas didn't believe Felix could produce Male Zerg pheromones himself, but then he remembered the vial of pheromones Felix had taken out that day and immediately became wary.

He stared intently at Felix's movements, watching to see where Felix planned to pull the pheromones from right under his nose.

And then he smelled the rich, intoxicating fragrance.

Familiar pheromones.

His body's instinctive response was awakened instantly. Lucas's eyes lost focus for a moment, his mind growing hazy as he involuntarily sought out that scent...

Then he realized what was happening.

He bit the tip of his tongue, using the pain to clear his mind, and turned toward Felix.

Felix stood right in front of him, his hands visible before his body without making any suspicious movements, his eyes watching Lucas expectantly.

Lucas struggled to resist the pheromones.

He had once been thoroughly fucked under the influence of these pheromones, and his body was far too familiar with them. His reaction was consequently intense, and Lucas's expression became extremely ugly.

He hated the way he lost himself under Male Zerg pheromones.

Rather than those, what he wanted was Felix's...

Lucas suddenly became confused.

He stared at Felix, who appeared to have done absolutely nothing, yet was radiating the intense allure of a Male Zerg while that beautiful face practically sparkled.

Lucas pursed his lips and began searching Felix's body, examining him with all the meticulous rigor of a military body search as he looked for wherever Felix had hidden the pheromones.

Felix smiled as Lucas searched him, feeling a little ticklish from his hands.

At the same time, he thought that the stern, meticulous Major General looked especially handsome and incredibly attractive like this.

"Major General, have you found what you're looking for?" Felix asked.

The longer Lucas searched, the darker his expression became.

Remaining rational under pheromones this compatible with him was difficult enough already, yet he still couldn't find the source of the pheromones Felix had supposedly hidden.

And Felix was even smiling beside him and saying that if Lucas kept touching him like that, he was going to get hard.

Lucas's brain felt like it was burning.

Finally, he simply closed his eyes and allowed his Female Zerg instincts to guide his search.

His lips brushed Felix's neck and pressed against his skin.

Felix obviously couldn't have hidden pheromones beneath his skin, and Lucas couldn't feel anything unusual beneath his fingertips, so he continued searching downward.

Slowly following the line of Felix's clothing, he eventually pressed close against him.

Felix instinctively raised a hand to stop him. Realizing that it was Lucas's face, however, he moved his hand away again.

Half surprised and half embarrassed, Felix asked, "Here?"

As he spoke, he glanced around at the empty but sternly military-style training room and became somewhat nervous and apprehensive.

No matter how bold he was, he'd never tried anything in a place like this before.

As expected, the Major General was even more daring in both thought and action than he was.

Felix looked at Lucas with poorly concealed anticipation.

Lucas opened his eyes, found himself facing Felix's crotch, and fell silent for a moment before shooting upright at lightning speed, his face burning red all the way to his ears.

Fine.

He was certain now.

Felix hadn't hidden anything.

Even if he had, the only possible place left would be inside his trousers, and Lucas could hardly reach into Felix's crotch and rummage around in a place like this.

Lucas slapped his forehead and forced himself to calm down.

He waited for the heat in his face to subside somewhat, stopped investigating how Felix might have hidden the pheromones, and instead approached the problem from another direction.

"Since you claim you're a Male Zerg, why did your original identity records say you were a Female Zerg? And why did that never change during all these years of mandatory military physical examinations?"

He wanted to see exactly how Felix intended to explain that.

"Because I hadn't differentiated back then," Felix said as though it were perfectly obvious.

Differentiated?

Lucas didn't understand the word.

Felix stepped closer, touched the Major General's rigid body, and explained:

"My family is rather unusual. We have a special gene. Before adulthood, we don't have any obvious sexual inclination, and even after reaching adulthood, we remain in a 'sex-neutral' state for a long time. Only after meeting the Zerg we want to be with and bond with as a mate—our 'fated Zerg'—do we differentiate into a sex, and from that point onward, it becomes permanent."

Lucas felt as though he were listening to some incomprehensible fantasy.

He had never heard of anything like this.

But he also knew that Zerg genetics were so complicated and unusual that practically anything was possible. The Zerg race had evolved since ancient times by continually devouring and incorporating genes, so their gene pool could be said to contain almost everything imaginable. Even the most obscure genes could exist, including ones that made the abdomen glow.

It was only because Felix's explanation involved the Zerg race's most difficult problem—the sexes and their population ratio—that it sounded especially unbelievable.

But thinking about it carefully, things had already improved considerably since ancient times, when there had been one Zerg Queen, countless infertile Female Zergs (soldier Zergs and worker Zergs), and only dozens or perhaps a hundred Male Zergs.

The sex ratio wasn't something eternally fixed and immutable.

It simply required immense stretches of cosmic time to change gradually.

Which meant that what Felix was saying really could be true.

Lucas's emotions had always been biased toward Felix, and his rationality was easily led along by him as well.

As long as Felix explained something to him, Lucas believed him.

No matter how absurd it sounded, he believed him.
