I Was Caught up in a Hero Summoning, but That World Is at Peace

For a while, my eyes were captured by the breathtaking sight of the meteor shower, but since the whole point had been to enjoy a drink while watching it, it would’ve been a waste not to, so we decided to get things ready.

[Oh, right. Alice gave me a bottle of wine and told me to drink it with Sieg-san, so let’s have this.]

[This is quite a fine wine. Why would Alice-sama give this to us? No, not that I’m ungrateful……]

[Hmm, she said she’d planned to drink it herself but there’s apparently a change in her schedule, so I think she just happened to have it on her.]

In reality, I’m pretty sure it also served as a subtle warning, which was why she brought it out at that moment. It’s probably related to Archlesia Empire stuff she talked about with Akane-san. As for Marie-san’s side, there shouldn’t be much activity happening yet, so I suspect it’s something connected to Cornelia-san.

Tetra-san was clearly interested in the Sharon Trading Company, and if things have started to move there, it wouldn’t surprise me if Alice judged that she’d need to handle the information processing soon.

I do feel guilty, since I’m the cause of it, but Alice indirectly told me “Right now, everything can still be handled with simple information processing, so don’t do anything that complicates things, just behave”, so I’ve decided to leave all that to her and simply enjoy stargazing with Sieg-san.

[I prepared some light snacks as well.]

[Eh? Sieg-san, you made all this? How did you find the time……?]

[Oh, I’d already finished dinner when I called out to Kaito-san, so I prepared these while you were eating. Though really, they’re all simple dishes I threw together in a short time.]

When I set out the wine, Sieg-san pulled out something like a multi-tiered food box and laid it out on the sheet. Inside were various bite-sized snacks, all looking delicious.

There were things like cream cheese wrapped in prosciutto, skewers with cherry-tomato-like vegetables, and bite-sized sandwiches, everything looked like it would pair well with wine or ripple-based liquor.

Sieg-san said they were simple to make, and while each dish probably didn’t take much effort, there were so many varieties that it must have required a fair bit of work.

[I see…… but still, with this many varieties, that’s impressive.]

[Fufu, I reused a few things I’d prepared earlier, so there are some shortcuts…… But I think the taste should be fine.]

[Sieg-san’s cooking is not only delicious, there’s also this gentle, warm flavor to it. I really like it.]

[That’s because it’s filled with love for you, Kaito-san. You’ll eat it in a moment, but could you try this one first?]

After smiling gently, Sieg-san picked up a bite-sized sandwich, supported it with one hand, and held it out to me.

That probably meant she intended to feed me. Sieg-san had the air of a calm and gentle older sister, and seeing her offer food with a soft smile like this gave me a sense of…… well, warmth and comfort.

When I opened my mouth and let her feed me the sandwich, it was probably a ham sandwich. There was a slight tang to it, so she might have used mustard as well. The slightly stronger flavor felt like it would pair perfectly with alcohol.

[It’s delicious. I think it’ll go well with the wine too.]

[I brought snacks that pair with ripple-based liquor, so if they also match the wine, all the better.]

[However, with snacks and drinks all prepared by you, and the wine conveniently coming from Alice, I feel like I should take something out of my magic box…… though that might make the amount too much.]

[That’s true. Neither of us drinks or eats a lot, so I think it’s better not to add more.]

There’s food and alcohol stored inside the magic box, so if I wanted to bring out more, I could. But just as Sieg-san said, neither of us are heavy drinkers; if anything, the atmosphere suggested we would be enjoying our drinks slowly, focusing on conversation. Adding more would only be excessive.

[So then, Kaito-san, how about you put that desire to do something…… toward spoiling me instead?]

[Ahaha, I see…… But Sieg-san, you know a statement like that comes with responsibility, right?]

[Oh my, is that so…… fufu, now I’m looking forward to it.]

She said she wanted me to use that desire, to do something, to flirt with her like a proper couple, which was an adorably sweet request. I mimicked the way she had phrased things earlier and replied in kind.

Thereupon, Sieg-san smiled happily and leaned gently against me.
