"Starshine Flower, Spirit Resonance Fruit, Tears of the River Styx, Divine Favor Stardust..."

Su Mu pulled the transcendent materials from the Silver Ring one by one. Soon, a dazzling array of ingredients covered the table in the quiet room.

Some of these materials had been provided by the Lord of Dawn, while others Su Mu had "borrowed" from the Lord of Dawn's private treasury.

As far as he was concerned, with the Lord of Dawn currently away, the entire Holy Lord's Mansion was basically his own home.

The Lord of Dawn's treasury held countless rare treasures. He wouldn't notice a few missing transcendent materials anytime soon.

He hadn't done this out of greed, but to gather the ingredients needed for the Transcendent Potion known as the Boundary Breaking Elixir.

The Boundary Breaking Elixir was a rare potion that helped transcendents break through to the Saint Grade. It could shatter boundaries, making it much easier for a transcendent to connect to the Saint Law.

It was a Transcendent Potion unique to Heaven. Forget about Hell having the formula for a potion of this caliber—even if it did, Hell was far too barren to ever scrape together the required materials.

Su Mu had stolen this formula from the mind of a Gold King transcendent while gathering intelligence in the Dawn Domain. That person had clearly been preparing to break through to the Saint Grade and had purchased the potion formula well in advance.

Now that he knew Heaven posed no immediate threat from a God, Su Mu could freely break through to the Saint Grade without any reservations.

His Giant Demon Pathway had long since reached its limit. He was only one step away from the Saint Grade; as long as he connected to the Saint Law, he would become a true Saint Grade powerhouse!

Of course, being a Saint Grade powerhouse didn't hold much appeal for him. His physical body and his soul were measured separately. If judged by his soul alone—which had fused with a portion of Xuan Tian's origin to become a nightmare—he was already roughly at the level of a Saint Lord.

After all, the essence of a Saint Lord was simply a Saint Grade existence that had fused with a portion of a Divine Corpse.

Looking solely at his physical body, he was a Gold King of the Giant Demon Pathway. However, having been reinforced countless times by Supreme Heaven, his flesh had long surpassed the standard limits of a Gold King.

"Captain, you also know how to brew Transcendent Potions?" Chu Ying leaned closer, her tone filled with surprise. "Are you an apothecary?"

Su Mu smiled faintly. "I'm no apothecary, but... who made the rule that only apothecaries can brew potions?"

His slender fingers slowly brushed over the transcendent materials. With a light tap of his fingertip, a faint crystal-blue light quietly bloomed, tracing a graceful arc in midair.

Suddenly, the lines formed by the crystal-blue light began to break apart. Countless tiny blue motes scattered downward, like stardust drifting from a galaxy.

Those blue motes fell onto the transcendent materials. As if imbued with wondrous magic, they caused the ingredients to rapidly dissolve, eventually transforming them into a pool of multicolored liquid.

Under Chu Ying's astonished gaze, the liquids merged, slowly intertwining and weaving together until they formed a flask of mercury-colored potion.

"How did you do that? The transcendent materials turning into a potion on their own is one thing, but where did that little flask come from?" Chu Ying's eyes were wide with deep confusion.

Su Mu offered no explanation. He had manifested this Transcendent Potion using the nightmare's ability to turn illusion into reality. He could even conjure it out of thin air without relying on any ingredients, though doing so would drain far more of his time and mental energy.

He downed the Boundary Breaking Elixir in a single gulp, prompting another startled cry from Chu Ying.

"Captain, isn't that a potion meant to increase the success rate of advancing to the Saint Grade? Why did you..."

Slowly, Chu Ying's voice trailed off. To her absolute shock, Su Mu's aura was beginning to change, surging from the Gold King realm straight toward the Saint Grade.

So he wasn't at the Saint Grade before? Then how was he able to kill the divine abomination and Zhou Qiong...?

The question had barely surfaced in her mind before it vanished completely. An instant later, Chu Ying's eyes glazed over. Like a walking corpse, she turned around and went back to her room to sleep.

When she woke up, she wouldn't remember a single thing she had just seen.

Even though Chu Ying was already one of his people, Su Mu knew that there were bound to be many individuals in Heaven capable of stealing memories, such as the Lord of Illusory Ashes.

Because of this, he had chosen to erase Chu Ying's memory of the event.

Naturally, the fewer people who knew his true depths, the better.

........

A month later, the Lord of Dawn finally returned from the Primal Desolation Realm. And he hadn't come alone—the Lord of Primal Desolation was with him.

Looking at the newly returned Lord of Dawn, Su Mu sighed inwardly. If you hadn't come back soon, the Dawn Domain would have changed owners.

Over the past month, aside from consolidating his newly established Saint Grade realm, he had spent his days strolling outside, gathering intelligence while using his Illusion Technique to take control of the people in the Dawn Domain.

If the Dawn Domain hadn't been so massive, the entire territory would have already fallen under his total control.

"This is Captain Zhou Qiong, the God Hunter who previously explored those Divine Ruins. He will be acting as our guide for this expedition," the Lord of Dawn explained to the Lord of Primal Desolation beside him.

The Lord of Primal Desolation was a burly, middle-aged man with bronze skin. Yet, it wasn't an ordinary bronze hue; it exuded a cold, metallic gleam, as if his flesh weren't human skin at all, but solid metal.

His facial features were rugged and hard-edged, looking as though they had been chiseled by blade and axe. A pair of sharp, piercing eyes lay hidden within his deep-set sockets.

He briefly raised his eyes, sizing Su Mu up with a single glance before immediately looking away.

Although he didn't say a word, it was painfully obvious that he thought nothing of Su Mu as their guide.

"This matter is of the utmost importance. To prevent word from leaking out, let's depart immediately." The Lord of Dawn was already impatient to get moving.

He had already reached an agreement with the Lord of Primal Desolation. They would brave the Divine Ruins together, and once the task was complete, they would simply take what they each needed!

It was a win-win situation for both of them. Because the Divine Puzzles they sought were completely different, neither had to worry about the other stealing their prize.

The Lord of Dawn waved his large hand, and several lotus flowers abruptly sprouted from the ground. The blossoms lifted everyone into the air, slowly carrying them off toward the horizon.

"This operation is strictly confidential. No one is allowed to act on their own," he warned. "The lotuses beneath your feet will mask your auras. Do not step off them under any circumstances."
